I never seem to quite fit into any of the existing posts so thought I’d create my own.

I ‘think’ I’m due af around 17th May, but knowing me will start testing from around 11th onwards as I’m a total poas addict.

I say I think that’s when my af is due because in the past my cycles have been around 37 dats long. Ovulating around cd22.

But thus cycle I took soy isoflavones after researching about them, hearing they can bring ovulation forward, and amazingly I got my positive ovulation test on cd14! So if my luteal phase remains the same which I think it’s meant to, then I’d be due af 14 days after that (my luteal phase is 14 days long).

I’ve been known to test from 7dpo though so not holding out much hope of me staying strong 😂 that’s the trouble with having a ton of ic tests burning a hole in my drawer!

Any tips for stopping yourself from symptom spotting?

Currently 3DPO, feeling tired (like exhausted), tender/heavy belly, windy, and have gone off all vices.

I am sure the above is down to: lack of sleep, that curry I had the other night, and the KFC I had for lunch yesterday... but that niggly part of my brain is poking away like "you're pregnant! you're pregnant!" even though it is way too early to know that.

@BabyDust13 it's so hard not to google. We've all been there and no doubt will continue to do it!

Both my apps are telling me I should have been ovulating on Sunday and Monday but according to my clearblue sticks it was yesterday and still today. I've followed the apps regularly for the last two months but this has made me realise I should be testing more and not round the apps. Learn something new I suppose 🤷🏼‍♀️ tell me I'm not the only one!? Feel so naive.

@MyGossip you are not the only one! This was me the first few months too. It's all a learning curve but you will be clued up in no time!

Thanks @Mrsi2020 and @BabyDust13 - I don't want to be too optimistic, but last time I felt like this too, tender belly with mild cramps and wind all through the TWW.

My CM is confusing me though, unless I've actually ovulated way later than the OPK predicted. In which case, I'm definitely out 😂. If only the TWW wasn't such a mind-fuck!

Another strange day for me. I think AF must be coming early although not due until Monday. Cycle a bit screwy after last month I guess.

Cramping & pinching on & off all day. Then pink spotting after going to the loo (IYKWIM?! 😬) just on wiping then went back to brown again. All very strange 🤔

I won’t lie, after initially thinking it was AF coming yesterday then nothing this morning, I did kind of get my hopes up that it was IB... but, from what I’ve read it’s not that common and lots of women seem to report getting spotting before AF and that does seem common (from what I’ve read).

Anyway - I reckon I’ll be getting my bus pass out ready for the June bus 😂

posted on a couple of threads but really need HONEST advice! ladies i need your help. this is the first test i've been unsure of. i'm not 100% what dpo i am as didn't do any opks this month. i can't tell if it's a bfn (😞) and i have lime eyes or if this is a vvvvvvf bfp?? this is with my evening urine not holding for very long. inverted too. just feel like i can see a sort of something there! probably just me hoping but wanted opinions?

this one might help for reference too. couldn't see anything with a torch on or under it and was difficult to see on pics but i feel like there's something there!

@mrsmumsy00 I would say there's definitely a shadow in right place. Have you got another one to do in the morning?

@babydust13 i have 1 frer left and don't want to waste it incase it's a BFN😞 AF is due saturday if no sign of her i think i'll test sunday morning xx i'm glad it not the only one! it's extremely faint and difficult to see but showed up in the time limit so hoping not an evap xxx

Let’s try again then! AF is due on Sunday and I took a cheapie strip test this morning. Nothing after 1 min but this is after 8-9 mins (photo hopefully attached). I have no experience of reading tests as this is my first month TTC, so need expert opinions from the ladies in the know! Is that a faint line or am I kidding myself???

BFN on the FRER this morning for me. 11dpo today. Spotting seems to have stopped this morning. Lots of AF cramps though so she’s right around the corner I think

@blondiemum1980 do you think so?! I nearly threw it in the bin as nothing had shown up after a minute or so. I guess I'm best to wait until tomorrow to test again with first morning urine?

That’s a pretty strong line for an IC, they take up to 10 mins to show line too. You’ll get a stonking line on a FRER even today but yes, tomorrow morning will be nice & pink I should think!

@blondiemum1980 thanks for your help - honestly I have no clue what I'm doing here! I have a clearblue ultra early test and a digital one after they came from Amazon yesterday but I didn't want to waste them... would you say to use one of those tomorrow or wait until Sunday? Sorry I'm asking so many questions! Also not sure if I should tell my OH or wait until I have something a bit clearer/more definite?

@Flamingle909 I would wait until day after missed AF for the digi, they’re better than they used to be but still not as sensitive as the early detection tests. The Clear Blue early detection (blue dye) are unreliable - see my post a couple of days ago - they give evap lines even within the time limit! I think you have to get a blazing blue line to trust them 100% I would recommend FRER or the Boots own brand 5 days early as that’s pink too. They’ve always been the most accurate for me. Pink tests early on followed by blue tests if you’re a serial POAS addict, like me 😂
