I never seem to quite fit into any of the existing posts so thought I’d create my own.

I ‘think’ I’m due af around 17th May, but knowing me will start testing from around 11th onwards as I’m a total poas addict.

I say I think that’s when my af is due because in the past my cycles have been around 37 dats long. Ovulating around cd22.

But thus cycle I took soy isoflavones after researching about them, hearing they can bring ovulation forward, and amazingly I got my positive ovulation test on cd14! So if my luteal phase remains the same which I think it’s meant to, then I’d be due af 14 days after that (my luteal phase is 14 days long).

I’ve been known to test from 7dpo though so not holding out much hope of me staying strong 😂 that’s the trouble with having a ton of ic tests burning a hole in my drawer!

I could do with some advice please....

I've got a weird problem. I've been having strong left hand side pain on and off today and now after visiting the loo (yes, I peed on a test!! BFN obvs) I got some brown stringy discharge. My cervix is high and hard. (Sorry if TMI and you spit your tea out).

AF is not due until Monday, so its 5 days early. Is this a weird period after last month's chemical? I had a blazing positive OPK and pains on CD14, and had pains so definitely ovulated on CD 15.

I am 9dpo (I thought I was 10dpo but I cocked my days up on the positive OPK day, so it puts me back a day).

I know some might say it's implantation bleeding, but I have never, ever, ever had any kind of bleed/brown discharge before a BFP, so I am reluctant to think it's that :-(

What the bloody hell is it?! This is so unusual for me. I'm like clockwork. Has anybody ever had anything similar & had their period arrive 5 days early?

@Blondiemum1980 I'm no expert I've never had implantation bleeding but from what I've read it would be the right time and they say it's either brown or pink and only when you wipe so shouldn't need a pad/tampon

I never get spotting before my period either and it's usually right on time

@Blondiemum1980 my periods have always been pretty regular and after early losses I haven't noticed them coming early or late - always 28 days from first day of bleeding although I guess everyone is different? It does sound quite a bit like implantation bleeding. I find implantation to be quite painful for a few days. Sharp pains inside and low period type pains.

@miniMD i'm 11/12DPO i think today (payday fell a week late and i had ran out of OPK's so based on the app purely 🥴) i'm also due saturday and got 2 BFNS today 1) FRER and 2) CB 6 days sooner. i really hope we get our BFPs😞

Is it normal to have period like cramps early on I've had twinges all day but they have just started getting stronger

And yes, definitely @BabyDust13, I remember them from my first which is 13 years ago, so they must’ve been bad 😂 some days I was bent double in agony, ‘completely normal’ trilled the Midwife! I had them with my second too. It’s a normal reaction to worry but in fact it can mean the opposite - as in everything is growing well to accommodate your little peanut, so it can be a very good sign too!

I'm 1 dpo today and have been feeling very dizzy and faint all day so have spent the day googling 😁 Have only felt like this before positive pregnancy tests but its prob just my hormones still haywire from my loss.

Hi @Baileys123, exactly like me! I knew very well that I wouldn’t have any symptoms that early but it didn’t stop me googling everything 😂

No more brown for me overnight, I did continue with one side cramps, I bit like ovary pain really, so I’ve no idea 🤷🏼‍♀️

If it was implantation it wouldn't show up on a test for a couple of days.

I'm turning in to an anxious mess I've had some cramps and a little bit of brown spotting which I'm told is normal but doesn't make me feel any better worrying about AF

@BabyDust13 it is completely normal but I also totally understand your anxiety. I’m thinking of you and hoping the next few days speed by for you. Sending a big virtual hug xx

@Blondiemum1980 same as me. BFN at 12dpo so that's me out this month! AF will arrive on Sunday and tie knots in my uterus, can't wait lol!

@BabyDust13 I know it’s easier said than done but honestly spotting is perfectly normal and brown blood is old blood anyway. It’s just your body clearing out. Plus cramps are good, it’s everything stretching and growing for that baby!! Hoping this week goes fast for you!

@Blondiemum1980 it does sound like it might well have been implantation!! But yeah it won’t show on a test until at least tomorrow if it was. Will keep 🤞🏻For you!!!

@Moominmiss same as me then! I always get cramps on the run up and pressure further down. I get headaches, mood swings, obsessive thoughts, I'm basically a wreck before AF shows lol!

@notyetamumbuttrying yep, same, that’s how I know she’s around the corner. I’d a chalky be quite happy for her to turn up a few days early and show her face today. I’ve accepted the fact I’m not pregnant this cycle and now just want to move into the next. This wait for af once you know you haven’t conceived is the worst, I get really ratty and impatient

@Moominmiss yeah same. I'm thinking I won't test early again now cos the wait will just be as normal and not feel any longer. I think I'll allow myself the day before AF next time and then it's only 24 hours to wait. She's always pretty regularly if I know when I've ovulated.

I'm driving myself mad googling stuff - need to chill 🤦🏻‍♀️

I have to go shopping at lunch maybe some fresh air will help

@BabyDust13 - It's so hard, it totally consumes us and I am the same. I took the dog out yesterday for a good run and that definitely helped my state of mind. You've got really strong lines and normal cramping. Text book xx
