AF arrived today - Testing end of May / early June buddies

Thought I’d make a thread for anyone who may be having a visit from AF currently and be testing similar time to me.

I’m 29, boyfriend is 27
TTC baby number 1, cycle 2 (ish.. we half tried last month but didn’t track anything!)
Trying SMEP this month
AF came today and is due 30th May

If everyone is on a similar date and wants to support each other then feel free to jump on 🙋🏼‍♀️☀️❤️

It's nice to see everyone so positive on this thread! I'm on furlough until at least the 5th so I can't think about anything other than baby! My 2 year old is loving the attention though :D

What is everyone doing to keep busy?

I am peeing on sticks every day to look at my trigger shot, so I have no good ideas for keeping busy and not thinking about this, lol. And I'm not even furloughed.

Please can I join 😊 my AF is due 27th May and I’m currently 2dpo. This is the first month I tracked with OPK’s and I ovulated 3-4 days later than Flo says I would so hoping we have a better chance this month!

I’m confident that this time next week a few of these babes are going to have BFP wrote next to them 🥰🤞🏼

Thankfully I’m working from home so pretty distracted in the week but definitely spend my evenings and weekends just hoping for a positive 🥰

@Suki2020 I'm doing temp and OPKs. First time tracking bbt.

@DarcyParty work and IC OPKs keeps me pretty busy. And following the SMEP😊

@Littlebee1990 this is such a lovely thing to do with the list, makes it feel like there are loads of us in the same boat!

@DarcyParty I wish I had the magic answer on how to keep busy and not think about TTC! Browsing mumsnet helps pass the time!!

I'm so impatient, it's like we made the decision to have a baby and now like a few weeks later I'm like - why am I not preggo yet what's the hold up 😂 I know the science and everything so know just need to play the waiting game but its so hard esp in lockdown with limited distractions!!

Fingers crossed all this waiting we are all doing pays off (not like we can do much else...!!) 😂 xx

@MrsTwentyEight I don't think I've ever had any ovulation symptoms to be honest! Not really been looking out for them before - last night I had a twinge in my right side but pretty sure it was just gas 😂🙈

Do other people have ov symptoms? What should I be looking out for??

@Amy00 I know exactly what you mean, and I've been through it all before with my first dd - I caught on the second cycle with her, but I was horrendous!! 🙈

And DP isn't bothered either 😂😂

@Amy00 Your comment made me laugh so much. We decided we would stop “trying to not get pregnant” 6 weeks ago and I’m wondering why I’m not pregnant yet.. the most impatient girl in the world!

I think I may test on June 3rd if I haven’t had AF by then. But I don’t really want to test at all because I don’t want to see a negative I want to feel so pregnant it’s definitely a positive before I do test Hahahaha that’s hopeful.

For some reason I just don’t feel hopeful this month. But I’m going to stay positive

Hey ladies. Hope you are all doing well. I am currently 9DPO and going to test on Saturday. Not having any pregnancy symptoms other than I am so bloated it looks like I am 6 months pregnant which is very strange for me. So hoping this is our month

@Suki2020 The temping isn't to bad. Set my alarm to wake up same time every morning and if no plans go right back to sleep. It's a lot of up and down, but wait8ng for my ov to see that rise in temp. Then I'll be reaasured my bodies working.

@Littlebee1990 can I join the list? I am due to test on June 1st. Just got my static smiley on CB digital test so at least I know my body is working!! (First month of OPK's). Lots of BD to come in the next few days!!

I've woken up with really sore nipples this morning and cramping.
I never get this before AF so I'm really hoping it means something!

Yeah I’m ok thanks, little bit of cramping last night and this morning with dull ache in the bottom of my back. How are you feeling? I won’t test until the weekend as I have a longish luteal phase. Normally between 14-16days.

Update below! How is everyone who is supposed to be testing soon feeling? I’m 4DPO so naturally feel normal.. it’s our “good luck f*k on SMEP tonight.. such a charming phrase 🤣

I started getting really sore, heavy boobs yesterday, so much I struggled to sleep! I woke up this morning and they are covered in blue veins. This was a big flag for me in my last pregnancy 🤭🤞🏻 I'm trying my best not to read to much into it and wait longer to test. Xx

@BJefferies that is a great sign 🤞🏻. Lots of hopefully bfps to track. I'm feeling absolutely normal now, no symptoms whatsoever 🙄😂. I'm either 8, 9 or 10dpo 🤷🏼‍♀️

hey !!I would like to join!! im currently on CD12 0DPO im ovulating today got my first peak yesterday...this is earlier for me im usually CD15/16 for ovulation, but hey this could be the month !! going to start testing at 9 dpo which will be 29th May if I can wait that long to POAS. baby dust to us all
