AF arrived today - Testing end of May / early June buddies

Thought I’d make a thread for anyone who may be having a visit from AF currently and be testing similar time to me.

I’m 29, boyfriend is 27
TTC baby number 1, cycle 2 (ish.. we half tried last month but didn’t track anything!)
Trying SMEP this month
AF came today and is due 30th May

If everyone is on a similar date and wants to support each other then feel free to jump on 🙋🏼‍♀️☀️❤️

Sorry to hear about those who haven't got their bfp . If there is a page set up for June could I please join ? AF has now stopped. Only last around 36 hours which again is odd but no postive test so think it is just one of those things. Anyway on to making a baby . I really hope it goes well for everyone . 💕

Ps - I've noticed my periods have only been three days since I came off the pill too. My sister had been off her contraception for a while before me and when I asked her what she thought about it she said she had noticed hers were shorter and lighter than life before hormonal contraceptives too. We'd both been on the pill ( and she's had implant too) since teens and she's four months pregnant now so I'm not too worried about the shorter period anymore 😊 hope that helps you too @1992EM

@mrswilso thanks, I have been off the pill for a wee while now, about 10 months and my periods are definitely shorter than before but never this short, anyway just means more time to prepare 😂. Congratulations to your sister x

@Fran2020 yes i'd ring now if i was you. Say its a year. You can then get the progesterone test 7 days after u ovulate this cycle and then the other the start of next cycle. If you're not pregnant by then.

Arrrgh so frustrated! It's so faint, but there's colour in it in real life I swear haha 🤦‍♀️ I don't know what to think, AF incoming tomorrow apparently, I shouldn't have tested but I can'tcontrol myself. What does everyone think?

@Whilstwewait I had a phone consultation with the doctor this morning and I am booked in for the first lots of blood tests on Thursday. Luckily they can happen this cycle too! I feel good now to actually get things going. 😊

@fran2020 aw that's great news. Glad you can get them all sorted this cycle. It's good to feel in control of things. My results came back really quick as well so you should know more soon.

I have had such an emotional day today. I really need AF to piss off now. Opened up to my mum and a friend about the stress which has just set me off and I ended up in tears in work. We are so close so I told them how i felt as well. Talk about group therapy. My head is banging. I feel a bit better for off loading though so would suggest talking to someone in real life if it gets too much xx

@Whilstwewait me too, I feel good now that I'm taking control of the situation. Yeah fingers crossed then we can move forward with whatever the results are.

I'm really sorry to hear that. I've certainly had days like that. How many more days of AF do you think you have? Yeah I have definitely off loaded to a friend, my sister or mum when I've felt like that. Definitely good to talk. Hope you're feeling better for it and are enjoying a relaxing evening xx

Hi everyone! I know I'm silly but I took a test today and I'm only (I think!) 9DPO...negative. I'm out aren't I? 😭

@Fran2020 my AF seems lot lighter this month probably all the stress so hopefully be gone in a day or so. Feeling so much better tonight. No more googling , new vitamins or checking mumsnet for hours for me. Going to have a chilled 3 months

@Whilstwewait really? I already feel so deflated. I keep looking at the bloody test and wondering whether my eyes are playing tricks on me if I catch what I think is a line. It isn't!
I had the most amazing dream last night about having a beautiful new baby girl. I just want to fall asleep tonight and dream about the same thing!

@average day to implant is day 9 and takes a couple of days after that for a faint line. Those with early positives would have implanted earlier. I feel your pain though. Its shit. Im always squinting in the light looking for something xx

@Littlebee1990 AF was due on the 31st but showed up on the 30th.

@GraceG26 I had completely clear negatives all the way from 8dpo, it was only 13dpo I got my positive. You could have ovulated late which could throw things off?

I've tested on digital and another test and it's still positive 😬 Ive been very very lucky I know. I guess that faulty test was accurate after all!
Baby dust to all, I've got a really good feeling about this group of people, I don't think you'll be waiting long :)

I just don't understand though because AF is due around the 7th June and normally around the same time so I can't have possibly ovulated later 🤷🏻‍♀️
