AF arrived today - Testing end of May / early June buddies

Thought I’d make a thread for anyone who may be having a visit from AF currently and be testing similar time to me.

I’m 29, boyfriend is 27
TTC baby number 1, cycle 2 (ish.. we half tried last month but didn’t track anything!)
Trying SMEP this month
AF came today and is due 30th May

If everyone is on a similar date and wants to support each other then feel free to jump on 🙋🏼‍♀️☀️❤️

Grrr went out to get more tests today and still a massive bfn. Of course I couldn’t wait until tomorrow morning. And I thought I bought a two-pack but it’s only one so can’t even do one tomorrow morning!!! But it’s a FRER which I’m sure would show something by now (I think I’m approx 13 dpo). So so disappointed and still seem to be getting symptoms. Just waiting for af to make an appearance now.

I have enormous respect for those who have been doing this for months and even years because the whole process is already making me really upset! I realise that is silly and I’m being irrational since it is early days for me.

@Dinosaurus86 I honestly feel exactly the same. This is only cycle 2 and it’s already consuming me. I symptom spot constantly (not even on purpose). Honestly so so much respect for people who have been going through this for a long period of time, I feel so down today and I’m not even out for this month yet. All of my friends fell pregnant first try and I’m convincing myself there is something wrong with me. Honestly had no idea it would consume me so much. I have a busy job and still think about it 60% of my day 😞

@Littlebee1990 it's madness isn't it? I've been trying since last August and that was a time when we thought we'd just give it a go and if it didn't happen right away, we'd be fine as long as we knew we'd given it a go. Now looking back I'm so pleased as we've been through so much already.
I very quickly learnt that it isn't as easy to fall pregnant as it seems. It consumes me all the time and I think sometimes that makes it worse. I can completely empathise with you as I know exactly how you feel!

@GraceG26 Thank you for being so lovely, I feel so ridiculous to feel upset about it all when it’s been less than 2 months and then to read your lovely reply and you’ve been trying for nearly a year.. makes me realise I really shouldn’t be wining yet and I need to have a firm word with myself!! @Littlebee1990 you shouldn't be hard on yourself for worrying about it now because it's a natural feeling. I was exactly the same (testing far too early, googling symptoms etc) and to be honest, I still do!
I have everything crossed for us all that we'll have our own BFP sooner rather than later. I wouldn't wish my past year on anyone 🤞🏼

I'm about 8/9dpo - small dip in my rhr yesterday which has picked back up again today so 🤞🏻 it was a wee bean sticking that caused it. I've got no other symptoms that I've noticed so far though...and somehow I've convinced myself that doesn't necessarily mean I'm out yet because I had every symptom under the sun last month 🙃

@mrswilso You’re so right, it really is a secret little community where we can not be judged.. my friends (who all conceived first time) would literally think I was mental for peeing on sticks, timing sex and all that jazz!

Hoping for a BFP for you, I think I’m 10DPO.. I got my smiley on my OPK on 16th so I guess 10 days at most.

My first post on here. We have been TTC for 11 months now but no luck so far. We now bought the Clear Blue advanced fertility monitor to see if it could help and this is our first month using it.
I am currently in the TTW and 10DPO with AF due around 2nd June. I’ve been feeling really sicky for the past few days with a really strange feeling in my tummy. My fingers are really crossed! 🤞🏼🤞🏼

Was gutted when I saw your bfn test but you're right, you're probably too early! I'm trying so hard to wait til at least the weekend...but it's haaard! 😩
I'm not using OPKs yet cos I know I'll be obsessed haha! I've been using my rhr on Fitbit and Ovia app - but I'll probably invest in OPKs if I get to six months of bfn, just to be sure I'm OVing when I think I am.
I'm so desperate to fall pregnant as soon as possible though. My dad (who is my bestest friend and would be the most amazing grampa) was diagnosed with terminal cancer at the start of the year and although his treatments seem to be working well so far, I'm aware that we're only adding as much good time on as we can now. Luckily my little sister fell pregnant (by accident!) just after his diagnosis so he knows there's one grandbaby on the way to keep him motivated - but I just sooo want to add to the joy for him ❤️

Sorry for the emotional purge girls...I do feel a bit better for putting it down in black and white though.

advise please, I came off the pill 24th april 2020, 2 days later had withdrawal bleed like normal. thinking I ovulated 10th may (ewcm and cramping) started getting sore nipples tiredness etc day 6 and 7 dpo symptoms soon went, then 22 and 23rd may (12 and 13 dpo) had light pink blood on toilet paper when I wiped only in the first morning nothing since, could this have been my period, tested and bfn and no af so far 26th may (16dpo) possible pregnancy, new cycle (bleeding was period) or my body getting adjusted to no pill..thanks

@Dinosaurus86 feeling exactly the same. And not long got back from a bad shift at work and just feel really emotional today. Reading all your comments really help. So thank you guys. Got my fingers crossed for us all xx

I'm out ladies 😔 AF arrived about an hour ago. Absolutely gutted. Four months since my miscarriage, and this is my third period since. I know it's still early days but when everyone tells you how fertile you'll be it's so tough.

Isn't it so difficult?! I'm sat here googling symptoms for ovulation as I'm so desperate to conceive this month!
Those of you that have had BFP, firstly congratulations and secondly, I don't suppose any of you had any symptoms of ovulation? Also, how soon have you started to feel symptoms of pregnancy?
Sorry to ask so many questions as I know I've had the symptoms before, but I just can't remember. I've almost mentally blocked out my previous conceptions 😳

I’ve started with af spotting just now so also out. I feel my body has played some cruel tricks on me this month. I wonder almost if there was some failed attempt. But onwards to next month.

I’m probably going to take a break from here for a couple of weeks for the sake of my sanity. Best of luck to everyone!

If you do start a new thread next month @Littlebee1990 then I will be there for the tww! But I hope rather that you get your bfp - there may still be a chance if you have a slightly longer cycle (mine are typically 29/30).

Ok so I caved and tested early - only 8dpo 🙈 I also promised myself I wouldn't be a "can you see a line"er... but... can anyone see a faint line? 🤣
It's definitely clearer in person. I've ordered some FRERs from amazon.
