Long Cycle girls TTC :)

Hi everyone who read this! My typical cycle is 34-37 days long but everyone I talk to seems to have shorter cycles. I'm looking for others like myself who have long cycles and are ttc :) we are trying for our first baby x

@xoJellyBean I completely understand. And the thing is, you ARE really happy for your friend, but just a little sad for yourself, and that’s ok xx
I’ve watched many friends and my sibling who is younger than me, married after me and now on baby #2. It can be so upsetting. But we just have to believe that our day will come too.
Be kind to yourself today, have a candle lit bath, or curl up on the sofa with your duvet, just take time to process it. And don’t forget... you have your plan and your working on it! 😘

@xoJellyBean @Pol96 @Newbie0818 Ah thanks so much on the advice on the pregnacare - I'll carry on with those then!

Yesterday I could see a v v v faint line on the LH strips, today it is a little darker (but still v faint), my husband could spot it too.

Could this mean ovulation is on its way?

Omggggg panicking now. I just got this message from fertile friend app... and they've taken away my ovulation day. It's days it no longer thinks I ovulated !!

@xoJellyBean have you added anything to your chart since putting your temp on this morning? Can I see your Temps for the whole cycle? From what you put on this morning with just post ovulation Temps on it looks really good.

@Pol96 I just put in that I had tender breasts as the sides of them are sore 😫 here's my full chart from Femometer... I missed a few at the beginning x

@xoJellyBean to me that looks like you've ovulated, remind me, but you did get a high/dark lh test around the 2nd June? Are all your Temps on your ff chart? Have you tried taking tender breasts off again?

@Pol96 yup I got high opk on 2nd and peak on 3rd. I just figured what it was, I put in cm as well and that's what threw it off. So weird!!

@xoJellyBean so weird! That shouldn't change when you ovulated as everyones cm is different in their luteal phase. Have you taken it off again?

@Pol96 yeah I took it off. I think that app is super sensitive lol what cm did you have around 11dpo? I have a feeling af is coming for me 🙄

@xoJellyBean creamy.. I got my faint positive at 10dpo and I only tested (in the afternoon) because I felt like crap.. I thought I was coming on but obviously I didn't.. So you're not out yet, Try and keep positive x

@xoJellyBean totally get how bittersweet it is. Your time will come soon! How did you get your chart to look like that? Or is it a different app?

I've been having af cramps all day 😩 more to the right but keep going to the loo to check it's not started 😖

@Pol96 I have creamy cm too. That's what I logged and then it took away my ovulation date lol thank you for calming me down, think it's just one of those days.

@Newbie0818 that's with Femometer, you should try it too :) I prefer it! I'm the same now, no cramps but I just feel like it's time. When is af due?

@xoJellyBean I already have 2 apps 🙈 well Flo is predicting it on Wednesday, but going by previous cycles it's really anyone's guess. If it does come on weds I'll be upset, but at the same time happy that my cycle was only 35 days long. Hoping it will be 8-9 months before I see another period though! I'm getting itchy feet now but picking up our puppy Tuesday morning so more excited for that!

@Newbie0818 I have 3! Lol. Mine is also predicted for Wednesday. I think I'm just going to bite the bullet and test in the morning... so nervous though! I'll be 12dpo. Awww how exciting!! What breed of puppy are you getting?🐶

I'm now 15dpo, due AF tomorrow or weds, my temp has increased a bit over the past couple of days and obviously now it's impossible not to keep my hopes down...eeek. Still not much in terms of symptoms, feeling the odd AF twinges if anything. If nothing by Wednesday I'll test then. Good luck to everyone testing this week 🤞🤞🤞

@xoJellyBean it's a yorkie :) and no! So sorry about bfn :( you're still not out though, really hope af stays away🤞🏼I'm sure I'll be out as I have zero signs.

Morning everyone :)

I'm new to this thread but thought I would join as I'm currently on CD36 with ovulation (hopefully) on CD33. This is my second cycle off the pill, and I wasn't tracking things for the first cycle, which actually was on 30 days long.

During this longer cycle, I experienced three LH surges in total, spaced 13 days apart, with the final one being a positive OPK and did have a temp spike yesterday. Does any one else have this, or experienced similar coming off the pill?

I also got extremely painful breasts/nipples the day after I ovulated and recall this happened last cycle too, with AF arriving just 5 days after my boobs started hurting. So am wondering if I'm possibly looking at a short luteal phase. Think it's probably just my body trying to regulate after coming off the pill, but have decided to start taking pregnacare to see if that will help things along. All my research points to possible low progesterone, which can be caused by deficiencies in the B vitamins post-pill.

Would love to hear from anyone else who has had similar experiences :) x

@MintGreenLife hi 👋🏼 are your cycles normally long? I guess as you're still so fresh off the pill it could take a while, but the Pregnacare should help with short literal phase if that's an issue. I'd say keep tracking and get to know your body. I'm still doing that and learning about it 10 months after stopping the pill! Hopefully you're won't take as long x

Ugh trying my best not to symptom spot but I'm feeling things and it's driving me mad 😩 cramps on and off, and just checked my cervix which is high and closed. These are all things that happen before af normally but I'm having loads of watery cm (cloudy), which I don't normally get, and dare I say it, I feel a bit sicky tonight... do we think I could be ovulating now? Or is my body being super mean...
