Long Cycle girls TTC :)

Hi everyone who read this! My typical cycle is 34-37 days long but everyone I talk to seems to have shorter cycles. I'm looking for others like myself who have long cycles and are ttc :) we are trying for our first baby x

@pol96 wow if it all happens that quick then it’s no wonder I missed it the last two cycles! We definitely havent DTD before as much as this cycle, so hopefully that’s enough.
I did another opk last night at 9.30 after a short hold and it was darker than the 7pm one (it’s dried funny for some reason), so you’re probably right. I’ll do a few more today and see what happens. DTD every day for a few days anyhow haha, poor hubby!

Sorry for spamming the chat btw, I’m just so excited at the prospect that I’m actually ovulating!

So mine was 36.3 yesterday and today it's 36.2. It's been 36.0 before this so is it still a rise? I had a terrible nights sleep too, nightmares galore! 😴😂

@Newbie0818 I can see that the later one is darker from that picture.. With the temp rise today I'd assume you've ovulated, only way to know for sure is to keep temping and hopefully flo will give you the ovulation line! So don't stop testing and dtd just yet, but once you've got that line your hubby can have a break 😂
Also CD 23.. That's so much shorter than your last cycle!

@xoJellyBean are you using a thermometer that goes to 2 decimal places? And that's still 0.2 above your potentially pre ov Temps which if I can remember correctly is still a rise. Have you got a pic of your chart?

@pol96 we’ll keep at it 😂 I know! Cd23 is amazing! Maybe the Pregnacare really helped 🤞🏼 Really hoping temps rise.

Ok this so the first time I've looked at this graph and it doesn't look good 😭

@xoJellyBean it doesn't look too bad, hopefully it's just slower to rise. If you get ff or flo they'll tell you if you've ovulated, femometer does but it doesn't show on the chart, it tells you in the homepage x

@Newbie0818 😂 you're very welcome! I honestly believe that it was the pregnacare that sorted my cycles out (think it might only work for those with long cycles though) x

@xoJellyBean slow rise perhaps? Is the flower you’re ov day?

@pol96 yeah it seems to have the opposite effect for normal cycles. I’m just on hour two of holding to poas and I’m desperate 😅

Is it supposed to spike more than that? I have Flo, where does it tell me. I'm so worried I don't ovulate :( x

@xoJellyBean I think you ovulated on the 3rd and as long as tomorrows temp is still above the 36.2 I think it would get confirmed on the apps. Your opks were dark so I think it was late at night /very early in the morning that you ovulated. If you haven't already get fertility friend just for the chart.. Its so much clearer than the others
It doesn't necessarily spike straight away, I've seen MANY charts and some people get a spike a few days after ovulation and I've seen some charts that end in a bfp with a slow rise at the start. Keep temping and using opks just incase x

Oh @xoJellyBean hit the optimize button on the femometer chart and see how that looks.. It evens out Temps so you can compare easier x

@Pol96 thank you. I can't find optimize lol I've got a really muggy brain today and I was also sick at lunch time! So so tired after a rough nights sleep and then I didn't eat so in general I'm just not having a great day 😂😂

@xoJellyBean😂That's the issue with so many apps! looks good! And if you click on reference curve you can compare to a "typical" cycle.. You can scroll through different kinds.. Including possible pregnancy.. That was my fav 😂

@xoJellyBean 😂 well its good practice if it doesn't happen this month.. Hopefully it does though.. Then you have the issue of moving whilst pregnant.. Good excuse to not do heavy lifting though!

I’ve only got 2 opk’s left and not sure when my next ones will arrive 🙈

Do you think I’ve missed my peak or am approaching it?
I’m soooo curious about my temp tomorrow morning!

@Pol96 true!! I think saying I'm not ttc makes it easier if I'm not successful this month :)

@Newbie0818 I really recommend scanning them in to Femometer, otherwise I wouldn't have a clue about when my peak was!! I'm rubbish at reading them. But totally your choice!! You've dtd plenty to catch it though :) I think we are cycle twins!

@xoJellyBean you have to pay for Femometer don’t you? I just go by the darkness tbh, but if this cycle doesn’t work out I may consider it. I figure opk’s and temping should give me some answers 🤞🏼

Last opk at 9.30 was lighter, so think I’ve had my peak now 🤞🏼 All cramps have stopped too weirdly. Off to bed for me!
