Hi everyone who read this! My typical cycle is 34-37 days long but everyone I talk to seems to have shorter cycles. I'm looking for others like myself who have long cycles and are ttc :) we are trying for our first baby x

@Pol96 I've had the same on my left side! Oh I really hope it's not all in our heads 😭 I know 6 couples who are pregnant/have just had their baby. It's mad, I wanna be part of this baby boom! Lol I'm cd26 :) this is the shortest cycle for me too, I've never ovulated this early. Let's hope that we did it :)

@xoJellyBean oh I hope so! I've been getting milky cm too not quite creamy not quite watery.. And my nipples are quite sensitive.. I'm terrified I'm going to go to the loo and af be here.. Ooh we're very similar with timings this month! I hope we both get our bfps! Xx

Pol96 · 13/05/2020 20:53

@xoJellyBean that tiktok is so bloody accurate!

xoJellyBean · 13/05/2020 21:37

@Pol96 omg me too!! I noticed some yesterday, haven't noticed any today. Did you track your heart rate? My nipples/breasts are achey, that's normal for me coming up to af but didn't notice this early on before. When I told my hubby that the girl I used to be friends with was pregnant he just went silent, makes me so upset all these emotions 😭 that tiktok is legit me every morning I test 😂

Pol96 · 13/05/2020 22:00

@xoJellyBean Omg we're weirdly similar this cycle! I've started doing hr the last few days (had previously turned my fitbit hr monitor off lol) was 67 on Sunday 7dpo and was 69 today 10dpo.. So not sure about it lol. My breasts normally hurt a lot more than this and my nipples are sensitive if I touch them.. So naturally I keep prodding them! It's a very emotional time ttc. My dp is quite laid back "it'll happen when it happens" doing my head in lol and yep that's me in the morning.. For about 2 mins them I'm like nah bin it!

xoJellyBean · 14/05/2020 07:51

@Pol96 bfn for me again😢 good luck this morning x

Pol96 · 14/05/2020 09:08

@xoJellyBean I'm sorry, bfn for me too 😢 I had a dream I got loads of bfps and woke up thinking it was real. Was very sad when nothing came up, still don't feel like af is coming just yet. Normally get af cramps for about a day before she shows. Temperature is the highest it has ever been today too.

Suki2020 · 14/05/2020 09:27

Hi ladies. I’m 4DPO now, think I maybe out this month already my temp hasn’t much of a rise. Confused I’ve attached my chart, what do you guys think?

Pol96 · 14/05/2020 09:42

@Suki2020 it might continue to rise and just be a slow rising month.. I've only been charting for a month so am not 100% sure.

Suki2020 · 14/05/2020 10:37

@pol96 did you get a good temp rise? I normally get a better temp rise to this not massively different but enough to see it rising. I also have really tender nipples at the moment which I don’t normally have.

Pol96 · 14/05/2020 10:54

@Suki2020 this is my current cycle. It's my only chart and has a good temp rise, and I'm hoping it keeps rising lol (if I get one more high temp my graph goes triphasic..)

Suki2020 · 14/05/2020 11:21

@pol96 that looks promising. Have you had any symptoms yet?

Pol96 · 14/05/2020 11:26

@Suki2020 I've had random af ish cramps on my right side (not as bad as af though) and milky/creamy cm (sorry if tmi!) since o. My nipples have been a bit sensitive/sore and my breasts look a bit veiny (not sure of this is just pms or not) my breasts are normally a lot more tender than this before af so I'm kind of hoping as it's a bit different to what I'm used to it's a good sign.. I'm also very tired but I don't know if that's a symptom or because of lockdown..

Suki2020 · 14/05/2020 11:46

@pol96 are you still working? Did you get ovulation cramps on your right side? Mine was left side.

Pol96 · 14/05/2020 11:53

@Suki2020 not working atm (might be going back on the 1st, work in a nursery) are you working? Yeah I did get ovulation pains on the right.. Trying not to look in to it too much.. As I was really disappointed with the bfn this morning after having a really vivid dream I'd gotten bfps on multiple tests last night!

Suki2020 · 14/05/2020 12:01

@pol96 oh no bless ya. Fingers crossed you will get your bfp in the next few days. No I’m not working atm I’m a hairdresser so it looks like I’ll be off until July. I find I’m symptom spotting more since I’ve been off work. This was the first month I’ve even noticed ovulations cramps but it’s also the first month I’ve used OPK’s so don’t know if that made me more aware of it. I’m really trying to keep myself busy though otherwise it’s all I seem to think about. I had ovulation cramps on my left side and Yesterday and today I’ve had a dual ache on and off on my left side. I’m hoping it happens soon as it feels like it’s been forever.

Pol96 · 14/05/2020 12:06

@Suki2020 thank you! I hope you get your bfp soon too x. This is the first cycle I've used opks and noticed ovulation pains too and as I've not been working since end of march I've literally just been thinking of ttc, I spend all day on here or googling possible symptoms. It's driving me mad! What CD are you?

Suki2020 · 14/05/2020 12:10

@pol96 I got like that at one point as I wasn’t sure if I’d ovulated or not, which turns out I hadn’t but I spend all my time looking for answers. Then I decided to try OPK’s and within a week I had a surge and got my ovulation. I’m on CD54. How about you?

Pol96 · 14/05/2020 12:17

@Suki2020 I'm having a normal cycle! CD 29 and 11dpo. Yeah exactly! I thought as my cycles are unpredictable I need to use opks and temp to confirm ovulation. Are you taking any supplements at all?

xoJellyBean · 14/05/2020 12:18

@Pol96 I keep dreaming so much too lol eughhh hate my mind sometimes! I just keep googling everything today, it's not good lol how are you feeling today?

@Suki2020 you sound the same as us! What dpo are you?

OP posts:
Suki2020 · 14/05/2020 12:22

@Pol96 I’m taking folic acid, vitamin D and Angus castus buy only taking this one until ovulation. What do you take?

Hi @xoJellyBean I’m 4DPO how about you?

Pol96 · 14/05/2020 12:25

@xoJellyBean feeling disappointed.. I was so happy in my dream and feel a bit stupid now lol we can dream right!? How are you?

@Suki2020 have you had any luck with the agnus cactus? I'm taking pregnacare conception and omega 3 (a vegan one) I actually think the pregnacare is what sorted my cycle out this month. How long is your luteal phase normally, when are you testing?

Suki2020 · 14/05/2020 12:34

@pol96 I only started taking Angus castus 4weeks ago so hard to tell yet if it’s worked for me. They say you need to give it 3months, but some women say they fell pregnant first month of taking it so fingers crossed. I’ve had the urge to wee 5times already this morning and only been awake since 8am.

xoJellyBean · 14/05/2020 14:10

@Pol96 awww. At least we have this site to vent!! It's horrible keeping it all in :) I'm a little moody today! Emotional too lol just started getting a headache - never thought I would be glad of one as it's a symptom 😂 could be all the over thinking though.

@Suki2020 I am 11/12dpo roughly :) all bfns so far. How long have you been trying?

OP posts:
fifi1989 · 14/05/2020 14:13

Can I ask what Agnus Castus does? I actually thought it was used to relieve PMS , didn't know it could help with fertility too! Just really curious :)

I take Inofolic (Inositol + Folic acid), Omega 4, Vitamin B6, Vitamin C and Vitamin D. Planning on trying soy isoflavones this cycle too, after reading Moominmiss's thread about it. I've got CoQ10 in the cupboard as well but not actually sure how to take it.. or what it's meant to do. Haha
