For those of you with kids, my sons nursery released this today re the 'key worker' system, link to Gov website. If you work in the job areas they have listed, your child can still attend school/nursery during this shitty time x

Sorry just catching up after a crazy week. Congrats @Snowwhite2020 definitely see a line fingers crossed for you. @Missgoldilocks good news you got your sperm results and everything is all good and now you can move on to the next stage. I just had my blood results and my thyroid is under active so starting medication to hopefully bring levels up and hopefully we then conceive. At least I feel there is something wrong. I am one week into the TWW and you never know could still conceive. Not testing until missed period though as my new rule. X

@missgoldilocks I used to get floods of the stuff for about 4-5 days. Now I only get about a day or 2 of it and it's not a lot. I don't think evening primrose oil makes any difference if I'm honest as I got more when I took nothing at all.

7DPO for me today. Don't know why I'm bothering to track anything. I'm more interested in my temp than anything. Temp finally staring to rise so that deffo confirms I missed ovulation 🤨

@Danni2019 yeah don't test no point!! Yeah they are fine but what is having me um and ah is the fact that his viability is low, but she didn't seem worried about it. But that means that there's a percentage of dead sperm if there is low viability so I do think it will take us a while to.l concieve anyhow just on that fact. Obviously it's good that he has a good sperm count etc though so at least we can get pregnant. I've asked on two other forums if anyone else got that result and how long it took them to get pregnant x

@Beau20 damn that's annoying, glad you've gone docs though and they are looking into it! That's all you can do. I'd say so SMEP if you can or just have sex 3 times a week to try and cover bases x

@Beau20 I know naff all about temping but I don't think there's anything wrong with temp tracking anyway! At least it might get you used to some sort of pattern so when you do conceive you'll recognise the difference? X

@Missgoldilocks definitely sounds like timings will be key for you. I've always wondered if my DH has low sperm count. We've obviously managed to conceive before but I think we really have to get that window bang on which is why it takes us so long 🤔 xx

Ladies, question to those of you that poke.. 😂 I'm either 4/5dpo today, getting bored of waiting so had a feel around just now..
I've no idea where my cervix actually is or what it's meant to feel like (I've convinced myself it's just the massive lump I can feel inside that's been there since DS ripped my insides out 😬😂) and it's all very spongey and slippery up there. Not too much appearing in my underwear but cm was white and stringy all over my finger when I looked.. is this a good sign? Just normal?

@Mumofboys17 😂😂😂😂 Well, everyone is different so what's normal for you might not be for me say. At 4 dpo my cervix has lowered again and is bedoum firmness and I do get a bit of the white stringey cm at that point when having a diddle (stringey makes me feel sick haha) but it might be different for you!
Yeah, I dunno🤔 she said in the beginning "I don't want him to worry" but finished with "low viability isn't too bad it may just mean some died during the process of looking at etc" but that is so variable lol I wanted a clear cut answer. From looking online it looks like it does matter because loads die anyway going into the vagina (why does the vagina kill them. Sooo counter productive) so it wouldn't leave much to get to the egg!! We haven't dtd, I've had flashing smileys the past 2 days so I will probably ovulate tomorrow. I'll just dtd tonight and tomorrow xx

@mumofboys17 oh don't even ask me what a cervix is supposed to feel like because mine is always the opposite to what it's meant to be!! I stopped fingering myself now because I was mostly doing it in work (which I found to be reallllyyy weird) and I was cramping after I did it 😂 that on top of my cervix being fucked it I guess there is no point.

A sonographer and a smear lady have both made comments on my cervix before (can't remember what it was) so god knows 😂

I think the comment was that I had a really small cervix... both times 🤷🏼‍♀️ I'm not entirely sure that's a good thing when thinking about having babies

Day 3 working from home... Despite all the dog walking this week, my average step count has seen a massive decrease, and I'm pretty sure I've eaten all the chocolate in the house 🤦‍♀️ watching old episodes of One Born in the background is keeping me sane in some ways, but increasing the crazy in other ways 😂

@Mumofboys17 no idea with cervixes, somedays I'm not even sure I have one - and at my last smear test, mine was described as "shy" which kinda made me think of it as a hermit crab 😂

Well totally embarrassed girls. Our next door neighbour has just told us in a kind of telling off way that she can hear every single thing we say including all the arguments and crying 😐😐😐😐😐 our walls are paper thin clearly. I feel so embarrassed/paranoid now. Like I think I actually need to move house...

Should I move house....??? I don't get over these kind of things. Ever. Like I will worry about this for the rest of my life.

Also I've been told I have the cervix of a teenager 😂 which shocked them since I had a child but my cervix doesn't like to dilate it's tightly sealed! Maybe that's why the fucking sperm isn't getting in!!!!

At another smear test, I managed to accidentally "eject" the speculum when the nurse made me laugh. She jumped out of her skin it was hilarious 😂😂

@Missgoldilocks oh my godddd I never thought about this! Okay, how to we relax our cervixes during ovulation? And surely if you had the cervix of a teenager it would be a gaping hole as we all know how easy it is to get pregnant as a teenager! Well, I do 😂
