Got my first flashy smiley today, CD12 😁

Katie1109 · 19/04/2020 08:53

Morning ladies x how are we all? I see a lot of morning bangs here, I love a morning bang me lol 😂 it definitely helps with hangover hence why we used that cure this morning lol x
I’m 7DPO today and my boobs and nipples are still hurting since 4DPO, they are now full on painful which is unusual because they only start hurting about 3-4 days before af normally x I’ve got a weird taste in my mouth, but not sure how to describe it and I’m sure it’s unrelated x
@Beau20 I know nothing about charting, but they say last day of EWCM is the O day I believe x when is your af due? I’m not far behind you! x af due next Sunday x

Mumofboys17 · 19/04/2020 09:17

@LV1987 Yay!! Hopefully it turns static soon! 🤞🏻 time to keep busy til you get that static 😉 x

@Katie1109 Morning! X
😮 Symptoms are definitely sounding positive!! 🤞🏻🤞🏻 I'm 3dpo today, nothing new to report at the moment, feels like it's gone quite quick this time probably because we were DTD for 4 days straight 😂 had some cramping on my left side again yesterday (been the same side all week apart from some more central cramping in the middle of FW) but nothing today yet x

Mumofboys17 · 19/04/2020 09:19

@Beau20 sorry I don't really know about charting either, but likewise to what others have said I'd say once ewcm disappears that ovulation is finished 😬🤷🏼‍♀️ X

@Missgoldilocks have you looked into it making cycles longer at all? I don't know anything about dong quai lol so been quite intrigued to hear how you're getting on! X

@Mumofboys17 morning! I've been trying to research it but all I've found is that it can bring on your period so if you have irregular or long cycles it sorts those right out apparently but when you're trying to concieve you definitely shouldnt take it after ovulation it can cause miscarriage.
So this morning I got a solid smiley but my cervix still isn't high and soft? Plus still no ewcm but I have the wet kind so I suppose that's okay. We didn't dtd last night, we did it yesterday morning and Thursday night late! I'm annoyed that I didn't do it more now lol but we are gonna dtd this morning and tonight if I can and tomorrow night! I'll keep checking my cervix too. Do you think that'll be enough dtd? Xx

@lv1987 yay for flashing smileys!

Missgoldilocks · 19/04/2020 09:54

@katie1109 hey girl sounding good!! Can you tell me about rhr? What happens around ovulation does it dip then rise when you ovulate? Xx

LV1987 · 19/04/2020 09:59

We squeezed in another morning bang today 🙊 the kids had a late night (we went to a restaurant and disco in the living room, it was great fun!) so slept in, it would have been rude not to take advantage of it! I hope it goes static soon before we run out of steam 😂

@missgoldilocks I think that's right - dip pre-ov, rise on OV... Mines still all over the place.

Danni2019 · 19/04/2020 10:08

Hi Ladies fingers crossed for you @katie1109 sounds very promising. @lv1987 this is usually what happens to us DTD so much before positive OPK that then have nothing left for actual ovulation days. Loving all the morning DTD here we also had a fun morning yesterday although just for fun as af due tomorrow. Actually prefer DTD after fertile week much more relaxing and can enjoy it more without the pressure. Got AF cramps this morning been on and off for a few days so definitely on it's way tomorrow but just happy to get it over and done with now as it's been a long 2 weeks and onwards to next cycle. Hoping for a more positive one next cycle now that I've been on my thyroid medication for a month. Need to go back for my follow up bloods too so will try and remember to ask for my levels this time as forgot to ask last time. Hoping they are back to normal and it helps me to conceive. Another month of Lockdown and would love to pregnant before going back to work would be amazing x

Katie1109 · 19/04/2020 10:17

@Missgoldilocks something weird is happening with my rhr x it dipped on the ovulation day and continued going down until 4DPO and since then it’s climbing up 2bpm per day x

LV1987 · 19/04/2020 10:59

Hi @katie1109! I think rhr is supposed to go up post ovulation either way, but if it carries on going up during the second week, you could be in luck! Has it gone past your highest point yet? X

Mumofboys17 · 19/04/2020 11:35

Wish I did other testing now like rhr as I'm so confused. My OPK's are staying as 'high' - in the 20's according to femometer
Wtf is going on? I didn't test yesterday but did an OPK this morning as I still feel really wet and having a fair amount of creamy stringy discharge. Did I calculate O day wrong?? 😕 I thought I was 3dpo today.

@Mumofboys17 my opks stay in 20s until 4DPO at times x and to be fair premom still reads them as low x
@LV1987 I’ve got no idea if it has gone past my highest point, doesn’t look like x

fertilityinstitute.com/positive-opk/

@Mumofboys17 this article seems to say that anything up to 5 days post ovulation is normal for an OPK to stay positive... Maybe just squeeze in some more sexy time just in case?! I'm conscious that banging one more time for luck is starting to be my answer to everything 😂😅

Missgoldilocks · 19/04/2020 13:10

@LV1987 @Katie1109 this is my rhr? No idea but I got a solid smiley this morning and finally my cervix has risen, soft and wet!! Dtd this morning! Will do it again this evening and tomorrow evening :) x

Missgoldilocks · 19/04/2020 13:12

@Mumofboys17 I have no idea about the opks but I'd say definitely dtd again just in case!! I've just bought those opks since I can't be assed for the expensive ones anymore. It's safe to say I defo ovulate the same day every month so no point in buying the more expensive ones. With those ones how many times a day do you test and starting when? Xx

Mumofboys17 · 19/04/2020 13:30

@LV1987 haha practical advice though! 😂 DH already reckons we're 'done' for this cycle so if we DTD tonight hopefully it'll be a tad more relaxed... we'll see 😬 x

@Missgoldilocks I test once a day (not fmu normally second wee or so of the day) until they start to get darker and I'm approaching FW. Then I'll test maybe twice a day to keep an eye on it, although this cycle I've only been testing once a day tbf. We followed SMEP anyway so it was more so just a guide as to when to switch to everyday rather than every other day xx

@Katie1109 that's actually quite reassuring, your tests look quite similar to mine this cycle xx

@missgoldilocks yay for solid smiley! You go jump that man of yours!!

I think I'm giving up on RHR, mine is so all over the place with booze, lockdown anxiety, work stress that it never seems to do what I expect it to. I will still be interested to see what it does when I get my solid smiley though 😁

LV1987 · 19/04/2020 17:15

We've been making brownies today nom nom, I'll be the size of a house by the time we get out of here! Anything to stop me peeing on another OPK to see if it's gone to a solid smiley since this morning 😂😂

Missgoldilocks · 19/04/2020 23:39

@LV1987 you should do one in the evening to see if it goes to solid, I do. I normally get flashing the morning of cd15 and evening I get a solid!

Katie1109 · 20/04/2020 07:56

Morning ladies x how is everyone doing?
@Beau20 how are you feeling? When’s your af due?
@Mumofboys17 yeah I can see that x hopefully that’s a positive sign and we’ll both get our BFPs this cycle 🤞🤞
I’m 8 DPO today boobs and nipples are very sore today x I woke up with this weird taste in my mouth, yesterday I thought it might be something I eat or drink but clearly not x I haven’t got much cm, but what’s there is white and sticky x

LV1987 · 20/04/2020 08:21

@missgoldilocks I think I will do that after a couple more days of flashies, as my cycles are normally quite long. I'm CD13 today, last month I ovulated around CD23 so I'll run out of tests if I start double testing already 🙊

Another day in the paradise of my home office today... I might make a record attempt on the most brownies ever eaten.

LV1987 · 20/04/2020 08:31

Oh hold the front page! I think I've got some EWCM!!! That's appeared a little earlier than last month 🤞

Mumofboys17 · 20/04/2020 10:48

@Katie1109 gahh hope so! OMG you're getting so close now 😮 I'm nervous for you 😂 I'm sticking with my original O day for reference now so think I'm 4dpo today. No symptoms to report at this point, TWW is young! X

@LV1987 yay!! Did you test again to see if there was any change in result after ewcm? X

Missgoldilocks · 20/04/2020 10:55

Morning ladies 😘

@Mumofboys17 @Katie1109 I think I'm 1dpo today, we dtd Thursday night, twice on Saturday and once last night so hoping we've done enough! Then again we do the same amount every month so wtf 🤣fingers crossed though for all of us x

LV1987 · 20/04/2020 11:16

@Mumofboys17 not yet, I'm saving my wee up until this evening I think! I've got my tell tale "butt cramps" too 🤞
