@Missgoldilocks @Quiffy yeah I don't think I'd tell ANYONE I know if I did it, I don't know why I'd feel embarrassed/weird about it?? I think the girls who have been trying a while, just get it? I'd try anything I really would! One thing I haven't done is sit with legs in the air... I never did anything special at all last time so now I'm like why bother now

Does anyone think TTC is psychological?? As in getting pregnant (or lack of) can be down to psychological issues

@Mumofboys17 when are you testing? How are you feeling?
I'm 12DPO today and boobs are really sore now, feeling quite wet with a lot of CM and cervix unreachable. I'm sure all of this means nothing and af will arrive bang on time :( I just wish it was a bfp for us, feel like I really need some good news now with all the negativity going on :( I keep thinking I'm feeling a bit queasy but I'm sure it's in my head x

@Katie1109 Morning x I'm ok, I think I'm in a pleasant state of denial 😂 I haven't tested yet. DH mentioned it last night and I said no 😂 he was like 'are you scared?' Haha fml 🙈 I think I just know it's not my month. AF due any day, according to Glow it's next Monday (CD40) 🙄 so may test at the weekend but I'm not holding out much hope. Zero symptoms, had some light cramping and my boobs feel heavy but don't hurt. So could well be AF symptoms x

Still quite stumped how I can DTD 3-4 times over the ovulation window and still not get pregnant 🙁 stupid body

@Mumofboys17 have you had a SA on your OH??

A woman at my work had a little boy, she was then trying for a 2nd no joy and turned out her husband had a low sperm count due to stress. She ended up pregnant before the ivf referral and then went on to have another accidentally right after 😂

@Mumofboys17 I feel exactly the same. We DTD 6 times in FW and 4 of those were peak and 2 days after so I struggle to understand why the hell am I not getting pregnant!!! I'm getting so frustrated now :( Keep us posted when you test x I've got another FRER left, so if af doesn't show tomorrow I will probably test on Sunday, which is going to be 14DPO but I can just feel her coming :(

Squeezed in morning sex today (definitely a perk to WFH!) so that should be my FW covered, provided that it fell on one of the two weeks I think it was. I think I'm CD26 now but with the spotting and very light period I had at the beginning of this month, I'm not actually 100% sure 🥴 I am also not sure if that is making me more of less loopy, but being super busy at work still has helped up until this point. I've woken up to 68 new emails, so yeah... Non-stop.

@Mumofboys17 and @Katie1109 I know it's easier said than done, but I'm finding the best way to get past all the negativity is to make your own positives. I was really struggling this time last week, and the lock down announcement on Monday really shook me, but now I'm trying to focus on the plus side - like that I'll get to be at home with the kids over Easter, that I get an extra half hour in bed with my OH, and that I don't need to spend half hour faking my eyebrows everyday because I over plucked as a silly teenager 😂 keep smiling xx

@Beau20 I'm still fascinated by RHR. Yours looks pretty text book, but I can never make sense of mine as it seems to spend the whole month going up and down. It'll be interesting to see what it does over the next couple of days, as its never exceeded 65bpm... What do you think?!

@Beau20 yeah he's up for it if we have to. Will have to wait now though as our local surgery won't see or speak to anyone until after lockdown 🙁 I do reckon that could be a factor. We do know for certain that we CAN conceive though obviously as we have DS so that's something. I don't think he's stressed, if he is he's hiding it well 😂 he's quite a laid back guy tbf.
Haha I have a cousin that happened to 😂 was referred for IVF then got pregnant by themselves!

@Mumofboys17 we both had tests done privately when we started TTC and both are fine x
I have gone into idiot mode and google anything to do with BFN at 11DPO on FRER and later BFP type of posts! Why can't I just give up and say to myself get over yourself, af is coming?!

Casual chat with OH last night and mentioned SI and he was surprisingly keen. The pressure definitely gets to him and sorting himself out is much less hassle.

I was predicting OV for next Wed but yesterday got quite a bit of wetness so thought I would start OPKs today... good thing I did as it went straight to peak!! Was not expecting that! Typically we've not DTD at all yet, and OH is feeling a bit rough so isn't sure he'll have enough energy to DTD, however he's up for going in a pot for me 😂

Now I need to google the heck out of SI!

Yeah yours are hard to analyse! I can only imagine the current rise is due to progesterone rise?? Mine shot up in the first week of TWW due to progesterone and then dropped off back end as progesterone drops

@Fredthespider my OH sometimes isn't up for DTD but happy for a quickie by other means 😂😂😂😂 so maby this is the way forward. Provided I catch it in the cup as he probs couldn't be arsed to do that either 😂😂😂

@Fredthespider trust me I'm totally down for the self insemination! I actually think because it will be less stress we will feel so much better and then it might happen!!

@Mumofboys17 @Katie1109you guys are at the crap part so I'm sorry ❤️❤️💐💐 honestly I totally get you, for me I can't really be positive anymore I just plod along with it all and try not to get too upset at any given time. (unless my period comes as that is definitely crying time allowed!) 🙄 I've had a upset tummy for 3 days and cramping, there's this little hope that maybe it's implantation cramps lol but I know it's because I've had a bad belly IBS flare up 😔 fuck it all honestly.

@Mumofboys17 @Katie1109 also every single fertile week we dtd at the correct times 3 to 4 times and each time I literally question how can I not be pregnant it's mental!! The most baffling thing in human history I tell you

Already looking into other things we can do to improve our chances whilst we wait for some fertility help. Next cycle both DH and I will take some TTC vitamins, I normally take folic acid but have been a bit slack with it lately, and DH is game so worth a try 😂 been reading amazon reviews all morning and decided the Wellwoman and Wellman ones have the best reviews and success rate. Not too expensive either (cheaper than CB digital OPK!) so worth a try right?

Well, OH has just been put on furlough and I'm waiting to hear about me. So absolutely no baby making for us any time soon... not while we can't be sure about salaries.

I always thought furlough government paid up to 80% and your employer had to pay the rest - WRONG! We are getting 80% total for 4 weeks and after then it's a maximum of 80% but likely much lower. I'm thankful we will keep our jobs but for a huge multinational corporate company I'm so shocked at how tight they are being... basically we'll pay you as little as we can.

And they are pretty much making us take all our animal leave within the next 2 months 😂😂😂

Can I join this thread please? TTC for our first, I'm 30 (31 in a month but denying that until the actual day!) and OH is 33. This is our third round, thought I had 3 more days until ovulating but did a test and turns out its today! Glad we did the deed yesterday and the day before. How long do you keep trying for during the fertile window? I think I need a break

@Beau20 oh dear I’m so sorry you’re having to go through that crap! I hope you and your OH will be ok financially x I hear all the time so many people being laid off from this big fancy corporations, I really don’t understand why?!

I have just noticed my RHR dipped by 13bpm when I was 10DPO then went up by 8bpm on 11DPO and further 7bpm up today x I’m sure it will go crushing down tomorrow and af will arrive by tomorrow evening x but a glimmer of hope is there x

@Beau20 my partner was fuloughed yesterday too... He's now in the garden building a "Gin Corner" while I try and keep my job. I'm of the opinion that we've been waiting long enough now to be stable enough for a baby, I'm not backing out now - it's always been one thing after another for us, so coronavirus and furloughing can suck my balls.

@LV1987 does your OH want to come and build one of those for us...? We have a small decked area in our garden we make into a 'tiki bar' come dance floor in the summer for bbqs but I want a PROPER bar area. I know what you mean about TTC still, we know we will still have our jobs at the end but we just don't know how long it will go on for.. OH has a bit saved but I have like zero saved! I'm not going back on the pill or anything like that but I am going to avoid FW for now!

@Katie1109 yeah pretty certain 🙁 it's getting darker and more red, and my back is killing me. It's ok I'm not upset tbh, just means I'll definitely order the vitamins for me and DH today 😂 all the reviews say they got pregnant within 1-2 cycles with them so worth a shot!! Xx
