@Mumofboys17 actually Comparing it with Katie1109 tests I definitely see a line fingers crossed for you it definitely looks promising x

Mumofboys17 · 25/03/2020 08:02

@Katie1109 I'm SO sorry i didn't even regard your BFN in my previous message!!!
Hope you're OK lovely, did you share with DP when testing? Xxx

@Danni2019 I know, this is why I'm trying to be just a little realistic 😣 I did warn DH about that too. When I actually was pregnant I got a solid positive at 8/9dpo on a FRER so I know I could be clutching at invisible straws here 🙈 xx

@Mumofboys17 no worries x nah no point sharing disappointment with him x I’m not even hoping it’s too early to be fair, it is what it is x I really hope your line will develop x

Danni2019 · 25/03/2020 08:11

Aww @Katie1109 so sorry too on your negative fingers crossed for next cycle for us x

Beau20 · 25/03/2020 09:01

@Mumofboys17 I really really don't want to be the negative one here but I can't see anything on either, I don't want to give you false hope. But remember you are testing super early so there is of course still hope!

@Katie1109 sorry to hear about your BFN as well lovely.

Anyone else feel like this time of the month is coming around quicker and quicker each cycle? 😂

Missgoldilocks · 25/03/2020 09:08

@Beau20 yup! I just don't feel positive anymore at all, I don't feel negative but I'm sort of just like blah now whereas when we first started every month I was excited and hopeful lol. I'm suuuper glad you got a 12 LP!! Sometimes it just takes a while for your body to reset itself after hormonal contraception! When I had the injection for 8 months it took a year for my body to go back to normal x

Mumofboys17 · 25/03/2020 09:09

@Beau20 no it's fine!! I need a reality check tbh. I know in my heart of hearts this is a waste of time really. I've compared the test to the unused one in the pack and I think I can see a faint line on the unused one too 🤷🏼‍♀️ probs just a cruel evap line. Just don't understand why this has to be so hard!!
Tried docs today but they can't do anything until we're out of lockdown, I can't even speak to anyone over the phone, so even longer to wait 🙁
I've had to mute messages from my friend who's had her baby because she's literally messaging me every day with pics of the baby etc and it's starting to sting a bit now 😢

OP posts:
Beau20 · 25/03/2020 10:31

@Missgoldilocks I know exactly how you feel. It's actually got past the point of 'trying for a baby now'. We don't even talks about it or refer to it as trying. There's no excitement. It's just meh now. We aren't getting pregnant sort of if it happens it happens now :(

@Mumofboys17 it's awful isn't it... I also know now the GP won't do anything either for a lonngggg time. She didn't even call to let me know my last know results like she did the 1st one... and my 2nd lot we're just as bad.

What are we going to do with ourselves!!!

Beau20 · 25/03/2020 10:33

@Mumofboys17 @Missgoldilocks I'm switching my focus from baby making to getting ripped instead as I'm getting well porky and have put on a STONE since Christmas!!! My arms legs and bum are like a size 6 but I shit you not my waist measures size 12!!!! My belly is huge 😂 my OH calls or skinny fat

Missgoldilocks · 25/03/2020 12:12

@Beau20 I've been trying to focus on losing weight but no such luck! I've put on so much weight 🙁 ffs Im literally addicted to food argh!

Beau20 · 25/03/2020 12:33

@Missgoldilocks yeah I said that and made myself 2 double waffles with Nutella...

WFH is doing us no favours.

Fredthespider · 25/03/2020 12:46

@Mumofboys17 @Katie1109 you're both still really early on for testing, even with a FRER so I wouldn't say you're completely out just yet. I didn't get a squinter on a FRER until 11DPO and it was clearer at 12DPO so if I'd have tested when you are it would definitely have been a stark white negative!

Mumofboys17 · 25/03/2020 13:48

@Fredthespider thank you lovely. I'll probably try the second test in a few days if AF doesn't show. Probably going to be another one of my infamous 40day cycles 🙁

How's things with you? Hope you're OK? Xx

OP posts:
Missgoldilocks · 25/03/2020 13:52

@Beau20 hahaha trust me!! Plus whenever I feel down (about not getting pregnant) lol I eat 🙄🤰

Fredthespider · 25/03/2020 14:26

@Mumofboys17 Physically I'm well thank you, other than the overeating many of us are suffering from haha. Emotionally still struggling a little and the next few weeks will be a little challenging. I should have been 12 weeks next week and I'm finding announcements the hardest. One of my ante-natal group from number 1 announced her pregnancy last week and I get a bit of a 'that should be me' feeling. Not helped by AF arriving the same day!

With that in mind I'm expecting to go into FW soon, OH has agreed to use OPKs again and try a bit more seriously. It turns out that I can't cope with casually trying! I hated not knowing roughly when I ovulated and therefore when to expect AF, not helped with it being first cycle after the loss so even more unpredictable. So we'll see. Maybe something good can come from the lockdown :)

Mumofboys17 · 25/03/2020 14:54

@Fredthespider I really, really feel for you. I haven't experienced any of what you're going through at this moment first hand, but I do completely get it. Like I said earlier I've had to distance myself a bit from my close friend who's just given birth. Lockdowns done me a favour else I'd be half expected to be rushing round there to visit 😣 I am happy for her, but she's one of those that got pregnant by snapping her fingers, she's got no idea and therefore is NOT sympathetic in the slightest. Xx
It's good you've got your OH's support too. My DH has been great this time around, I mean he was great the first time too but he's a bit like my voice of reasoning 😂

@Missgoldilocks lockdown is killing me slowly via crisps and choccy cake 😂😂 f*ck it haha! Xx

Fredthespider · 25/03/2020 16:09

@Mumofboys17 I don't think you need to have experienced a loss to get upset by other peoples announcements etc. so I'm sure most here can understand how both of us are feeling. My friend is due in a few weeks, we were going to have a baby shower this weekend for her which is obviously cancelled and tbh I'm quite grateful that I also won't need to go rushing off to see her when the baby arrives.

My DH is also a voice of reason, especially on the testing early front! He has struggled with my mood swings though and he thought that taking a break would help that (it didn't!) but I need to be careful to not try to hide my feeling from him so that I end up exploding, especially now we're both WFH together whilst looking after a toddler!

LV1987 · 25/03/2020 19:26

Hi!! Sorry for the quiet, with so much time at home, all of a sudden I am finding I have no time to myself at all!

Work has continued to be crazy busy, and we're using our allotted exercise each day to walk OH's parents dog, as they are unable to get out and do it themselves.

I think I ovulated the other day, but my app is saying today - so I'm going with that as far as DPO goes. So tomorrow will be 1DPO...I just hope I can drag him away from his homemade quiche for long enough for a quickie 😂

Beau20 · 25/03/2020 20:06

@Fredthespider I suppose I'm some respects this whole coronavirus thing is a blessing in disguise... no baby showers, vitisiting babies etc. I know this is REALLY spiteful but part of me is like oooh yay maybe a lot of people will not be wanting to have a baby right now so not likely to have to deal with any announcements (horrible to say it I know)

Not sure what is going on with me, had about 5 mins of hellish cramps 8am. And I've only had veryyyyyy light brown bleeding today. In fact I wouldn't even call it bleeding. It's not red at all and it's not continuous. Cramps have been coming and going tonight but still only really spotting. I usually spot the day before AF but I had the smallest amount yesterday too. Not sure if I class today as CD1 or wait for full on flow?

Beau20 · 25/03/2020 20:06

@LV1987 you crack me up, his homemade quiche 😂😂😂😂

LV1987 · 25/03/2020 20:08

What, I actually made quiche! 😂

Mumofboys17 · 25/03/2020 20:23

@Beau20 I sometimes get that, like an on/off day before AF properly kicks in? I count it as CD1 if it's heavy enough to be very noticeable on wiping and enough to stain (not necessarily soak) a liner. X
Btw I don't think you're being out of order with the potential free-of-baby-news relief! I thought the same thing today!! Would be nice if I'd have had my own announcement though 🙁 feel a bit like I'm banging my head against a brick wall with it all at the moment. And a very expensive one at that!! Not sure I'll bother with CB digital next cycle.

@LV1987 hello! I love a quiche! Don't blame him 😂😂 hope you managed to get a quickie in haha x

OP posts:
Beau20 · 25/03/2020 20:38

@LV1987 no absolutely nothing wrong with the quiche, I'm quite partial to one actually! It was more the image I had in my head of the actual scenario 😂😂😂

Beau20 · 25/03/2020 20:38

@Mumofboys17 I have no OPKs left. Not buying another, join me in the OPK sacrifice! O

LV1987 · 25/03/2020 20:44

@Beau20, I can confirm the image is likely exactly as you pictured it. He loves the quiche more than quickie 😂 my home maker ways have thwarted any potential throes of passion here.
