Starting this thread for anyone TTC after a miscarriage. My MC was in December and I’ve had no joy since, but these threads have been wonderful for being amongst lovely people going through the same thing.

As always, sorry to anyone who finds themselves here and fingers crossed we all get our rainbows soon 🌈

@TerribleImagination @Ejb86 I'll also wait until after I miss, if I do. Took forever to get my BFP last time so not fussed on testing early

Hayleylou89 · 28/03/2020 15:50

@Renna

Aww ill keep everything crossed for u! I was in the exact same boat as u just didnt know what was what but was hoping for the best... still a flashing smiley for me today and this was my first official testing day for cb although its day 5 of flashies 👎...fingers crossed ill have my peak in a Few days :) as horrible as it is i just want to be in the tww again hoping for the best 🙏 x

Renna · 28/03/2020 16:24

Afternoon ladies and to all those joined 🖐🌟 wishing you all lots ot luck. Xx 🌈

@Hayleylou89 Hey hun x well if it's the first day CB telling you to test 🤞 you should see the peak in a couple days 😁👌 deffo good doing the cheapies too to make sure the CB doesnt miss it using fmu. Yeah I know what you mean as much as the tww feels long you kind of have that under lying hope that it is possible you've caught .

Also one of the worst times in the current climate to go through this ! More time at home to think about things 🙄 I had all these plans about how I'll keep busy and occupied after MMC... although I am Slightly occupied thinking and planning for the arrival of our new puppy weve been waiting a while for .. coming end of May .. fingers crossed all well by then ! Aaand stressing about buying a new build house which was due to complete in June ... which will be probably be delayed now. Still at least loved ones are healthy right now 💙 focus on the positives !

Keep safe everyone xx

Hayleylou89 · 28/03/2020 17:05

@Renna

I know hoping its soon, my cm is just quite watery / slippy atm and my opks are just up and down... i get excited when they get strong and do a second cb and its still just flashing - high so im just doing fmu cb and cheapies in the afternoon until they get really strong and then ill do a second cb to see if its peak 🙈... how r u feeling? Any more symtoms spotted? X

SmileyT · 28/03/2020 17:42

@dinosaur17 hey, how was your OPK tests for today any sign of the peak on there? ❤️

Renna · 28/03/2020 17:56

@Hayleylou89 no symptoms or anything really. I have had the odd crampy feeling so could be AF getting ready to come next week ! My DH got me going for a local jog /walk last night .. hated it .. hate running .. haha and feel like it brought in the crampy feeling. Keep me posted on your peak seeking 💙 Xx

Quail15 · 28/03/2020 18:37

Hi Everyone can I join you? After 16 months TTC (since having my daughter via Ivf) I got a surprise bfp unfortunately I went on to misscarry at nearly 7 weeks.

It was the first time I have ever had a bfp without fertility treatment so I'm taking the positive thought that it is possible for me to become pregnant 🤞 I'm still grieving for that loss but want to focus on hopefully my next bfp.
Let's hope for a positive April for all of us.

SmileyT · 28/03/2020 19:02

Hello @Quail15 welcome to the group and sorry for your loss. I'd definitely take it as a positive that you got a BFP and hopefully in these terrible times outside our homes April can be a lucky one for you and your family... 🌈💙💜

SmileyT · 28/03/2020 19:05

Anyone else feeling like time is dragging at the moment? I'm only 9 day post SMM but am having my lowest day to date, now all the research is done this waiting game is really getting me down. I know many of you have had a few months of experience, no idea if/ when I'll ovulate and it all just feels so overwhelming.

Hope you are all having a much more positive Saturday night than me x

Renna · 28/03/2020 19:28

@Quail15 hiya lovely xx sorry for your loss but deffo massive positive for you there getting your BFP, deffo focus on these positives xxx and having your lovely daughter xx

@SmileyT yup know that feeling exactly. And sure others do too. I'm 26 days post SMM and once the first week out the way of recovery shock and research it did really hit me and I think dawned on me more. Although I'll obviously never forget or be fully over it all I am feeling bit more positive focusing on future and time has started going bit quicker again , so it will get better 😘 I dont even know if or when I ovulated this month so that does make me feel frustrated and low but just trying to be positive that if I didnt catch this month I'll be able to start a fresh at tracking things once AF been. We will never forget what weve been through but it will get easier over time xxx hope your evening picks up or your Sunday tomorrow is a happier one for you xxx

Hayleylou89 · 28/03/2020 19:33

@Quail15 welcome and im so sorry for ur loss! Hole u find ur bfp soon!

@Renna Hopefully the cramps are pregnancy related not AF what day is ur app predicting ur due? ... have u done any tests or going to test? X x

Re6ecc4 · 28/03/2020 20:02

@Fizzl thankyou+ I thought so too... doesnt make symptom spotting any easier does 8t haha.

Quail15 · 28/03/2020 20:17

@Renna @Hayleylou89 @SmileyT thank you for your kind words. I have everything 🤞 for us

Re6ecc4 · 28/03/2020 20:26

Hi @Quail15 good luck with your journey! I'm sorry to hear your of your loss, I lost my baby at 7 weeks too.
@Renna I almost wish I wasnt a key worker, came home today after over 9 hours in the pharmacy I'm nervous if I am pregnant I'll catch it and it will harm the baby.

Renna · 28/03/2020 20:56

@Hayleylou89 app is saying AF due 1st april 🤞🌈
No I'm not going to test before, I didn't test until AF was late when I conceived before MC. I think I'll find looking at a BFN test more heart breaking for me than AF just turning up as I am expecting. Xx

Question .. do people still drink alcohol when TTC? Wine

@Re6ecc4 👏👏 applause for you and all other key workers right now. Especially with the underlying anxieties you have as you say and other people dont even know what you're going through when weve already suffered a loss. 💙 hope you stay safe . Can imagine it's going to be on your mind and such a worry . I'm hoping this doesnt harm any little beans and try be assured no evidence of this so far 💞 xxx

Hayleylou89 · 28/03/2020 21:08

@renna
Ur so patient i have a poas obsession! Thank god for cheapies as id be bankrupt otherwise!

I cant seem to enjoy a drink at any point in my cycle because even now i think no i want to be a toxin free as poss for ttc and then in the tww i think i dnt want to jeopardise anything 🙈 im not against it but me personally i cant enjoy a drink thinking these things 😂.. then i think get a grip it could be ur last drink for 9 months but im not one to sit in and drink anyway... if i had a night out planned for a bday etc id 100% go as its for a purpose but not just one or two drinks i think its not worth putting the bad toxins in my body if i want a baby xx🙈

Quail15 · 28/03/2020 21:40

@Re6ecc4 I'm a keyworker as well (I'm an AHP working across all hospital wards) It is really tough at the moment.
I had to tell my boss I was pregnant prior to my misscarrage due to the current risks. I wish I had waited though as the new guidance is that I can work frontline up until 28 weeks pregnant. I misscarried a few days after telling him. IF I'm lucky enough to get a bfp again soon I won't be telling anyone unless the guidelines change again. I hope you are able to rest after your long shift.

Mommybear05 · 28/03/2020 21:41

@Quail15 hi sorry for your loss. Such a positive sign that you were pregnant though, so fingers crossed for you.

@renna I’ve never been much of a drinker anyway but I do have the odd glass of red wine here and there. I find it relaxes me and I can be very highly strung at times. It’s nice to chill out. But wouldn’t do this after getting my bfp.

SmileyT · 28/03/2020 23:09

Thanks @Renna I'm back in the office next week so hoping that distracts me a bit aswell. I'm a bit of a catastrophist sometimes so can sometimes get caught up in my own negativity but I'll get over it, good to know it gets easier 🙌🏾 Id actually done dry January and then found out I was pregnant in Feb so haven't really drink much this year but after the news last week and being stuck in the house I've had a fair few glasses of wine but plan to stop that once ovulation is on the way (i'm better with zero glasses than one 🤦🏾‍♀️)

SmileyT · 28/03/2020 23:13

@Renna also I'm with you on testing, I'd definitely have to wait for a clear missed AF before testing, feel like I'll be more disappointed with a BFN or a faint line showing a CP 😔

SmileyT · 28/03/2020 23:31

@Re6ecc4 @Quail15 so much respect for you ladies going out there to work in these challenging times 👏 I'm also classed as a key worker but I work for a bank and expect to find myself locked inside a glass office most of the time so nowhere near the frontline like you two are x

Sallyjo27 · 29/03/2020 10:24

Good morning ladies!
How are you all managing in “lockdown” at the moment?
I’ve just had my first period after a mmc in February at 9 weeks so hoping to start ttc straight away

MilsCookie · 29/03/2020 10:38

Good morning everyone,

Joining you all again from the Jan/Feb/March threads... can't believe I'm still not pregnant again yet after our MMC at the end of November! I would be on CD31 but I had some brown spotting this morning and only BFNs so I guess that means AF is on her way! So counting today as CD1 of cycle 4 TTC.

Lots of names I recognise here... @ELM7 @Annny27 @Fizzl @TerribleImagination @Sparkl @Hayleylou89 @SunnySideUp2020 @Leok83 @Ejb86 @DisneyMummySince2010 sorry we are all still in this boat but really hoping we're not ttc for too much longer!

Hello to everyone who has recently had a miscarriage and I'm so sorry that it happened to you. Hopefully we'll all be pregnant again in the next few months!

Sending lots of positive vibes to everyone for the coming month - whether you're at the start of your cycle, ovulating or in your TWW! Big hugs xxxxxxxxxxxx

Wishingfornumber2 · 29/03/2020 11:17

Hi everyone,

After having a MC in July 2018 at 10 weeks I have been TTC for 17 months now. I used CB ovulation sticks this month and DTD the day before, the day of and the day after a static smiley. I really felt like it had worked as felt different somehow and a little bit nauseous the last few weeks. However AF arrived cd31 which is about normal for me. So wondered if it could be a very early MC or I was just wishing for it to work so much that I was kidding myself? Fingers crossed for everyone on here! X

dinosaur17 · 29/03/2020 11:55

@SmileyT Nothing yet! CD14 today and still measuring low. Hopefully will be soon, AF due in 10 days so all v confusing. How are you getting on with the tracker? Xx
