TTC after miscarriage - April 2020

Starting this thread for anyone TTC after a miscarriage. My MC was in December and I’ve had no joy since, but these threads have been wonderful for being amongst lovely people going through the same thing.

As always, sorry to anyone who finds themselves here and fingers crossed we all get our rainbows soon 🌈

Haha thats the thing cos he knows its ovulation time cos i stupidly told him he's feeling pressured so if im like "quicky please" itll feel forced haha and he wont be able too its so frustrating as hes been able too 6 days in a row leading up to peak ... we have a window fitter here too at the minute 😂🙈 so just have to wait until tonight and throw it on his toes then once we are all settled, its friday so hopefully hes got that "friday feeling" 🥰 or hopefully there are some waiting for the little egg already 🙏 xx

@Babytinx11 what have your cycles been like since your MC in jan ? Has AF come on time ? Xxxx because if so then AF being this late is a good sign! ..
@Hayleylou89 yeah got peak on my CB advanced and with the cheapies. I have 2 apps I'm using . The CB app which doesnt tell you much really does it. But also have femometer app to input cheapies and temping symptoms etc and that's what's telling me to do more tests. I might carry on doing some cheapies just out of curiosity maybe see how long I get a peak . Dont think I'll do that every month though if I'm still testing every month!

@Babytinx11 yeah I can definitely see another line in that picture. Do you have any other symptoms? 4 days late you'd hope you'd be able to see a clear line on the HPT... ahh so frustrating. Maybe give it until after the bank holiday and then head to the shops yourself or just get on amazon they do next day delivery. x

@renna yeah id just do it more out of curiosity really iv never known u to need to test once ur at ur peak! So excited for u i think ull crack it this month! I feel so disheartened and annoyed at myself that i was dtd so much the week leading up to peak i feel like iv messed up this month cos the hubby is struggling now... we managed it the night of the first peak but not since (successfully anyway) , hoping sometime today we can, im due to ovulate today xx join the tww tomorrow so ull be joining me shortly too 🙏

@Renna when I got my CB peak, I carried on doing cheapies to see when LH started to drop as some people have longer peaks and I was just curious. Don't think I did every 4hrs but maybe 3 a day during waking hrs until it dropped back to low, which was only one day. I'm still doing cheapies 4dpo as I'm also curious whether I'll get another surge as I read something saying that our bodies can try and ovulate more than once in a month.

@Babytinx11 I can see a very faint line on the second pic. Why don't you pop out and get yourself a digital one? Xx

@Babytinx11 yeah I can see what you mean in that second pic with the line xx when did you get a BFP before? Like how soon after missed AF? You may not get a BFP until later ? Fingers crossed hun xx

@SmileyT yeahh I can join you guys in TWW now. AF will be due around Sunday 26th april. Yup something to keep us occupied for the long weekend stuck indoors 😁 xx

@Babytinx11 I can def see a line on that second picture. If you ovulated later and implantation happened later that may be why it’s so faint x

Af has been like clockwork since January hubby won’t let me go out for another test while all this is going i am going to see if I can order one online then hope he doesn’t notice 😂 I’m not sure how late I was last time because I only tested because I realised af hadn’t come in what felt like a very long time wasn’t even sure at that point we wanted another baby hubby said we would try because I want to but he isn’t fussed either way. I will order one online at least if I am going he delivery time will give hormones a chance to build up. Got sore boobs and super emotional I actually cried watching a crime documentary and I never do that like ever xx

@renna sorry i missed ur message with ur piccies!! Fab to see and ur cycle are perfect in that case & all back to normal it seems!! We were so similar in our first cycle following our loss with the way things went... im Praying ur right about them waiting for the egg 🙏 I hope so and im glad we will be in the tww together uv been a fab support x

Have just ordered a digital subscription me from amazon going to take ages to arrive but I don’t have to leave the house so hubby can’t complain lol xx

@SmileyT I'm not even sure when af will be due this is my 1st cycle since MC. Before I fell pregnant my cycles would range from between 30 to 35 days so I'm in the dark at the moment. X

Hubby is picking up tests when he goes out he now says he can see the line but it doesn’t mean anything although he has woken up in a stinking mood so that’s probably why and he doesn’t want to go through me getting my hopes up then not being xx

@HE88 I read that AF should be up to 16 days post ovulation, you ovulated the day before me and I've estimated AF is due by 22nd April. Having said that I'm the same as you this is my first cycle post MC in March so no idea if I actually ovulated after peak or whats happening in my body. I've told myself that if AF doesn't appear by 30th, which is 6weeks post MC I'll take a test 😬

@Babytinx11 the delivery time will give your HCG time to increase and when it arrives you'll hopefully get a conclusive answer 🤞

@Babytinx11 ahh I posted at the same time but yay to hubby getting on board, hopefully if he gets a digital and it's positive he'll cheer up 😊

Thank you 😊 he isn’t convinced but with our daughter he was the same for a while we have had so many miscarriages I think it’s his way of protecting himself xxx

@SmileyT I had my MC in February and af came 5 weeks after so didn't count that as a cycle. I'll see what happens from the 20th April onwards then and try not to symptom spot (easier said than done). X
@Babytinx11 that's good hubby is going to get some tests. X

Should I do one when he gets back or wait till the morning? Xx

@HE88 I know I've already been feeling around for my cervix and trying to work what that means and if I'm tired because of pregnancy even though it's way too early 😂

@VP91x i would, I had to get a second pack but only used 4 out that pack so still got plenty left. Xx
