TTC after miscarriage - April 2020

Starting this thread for anyone TTC after a miscarriage. My MC was in December and I’ve had no joy since, but these threads have been wonderful for being amongst lovely people going through the same thing.

As always, sorry to anyone who finds themselves here and fingers crossed we all get our rainbows soon 🌈

@Quail15 thank u lovely its as-if iv got a bfp im that excited 😊.. but its only because its nice to know my body has returned to normal after my loss i was worrying so much but no need too and same will go for u, u will get urs soon im sure... its just been the most frustrating thing cos i started testing so early and i shouldn't have really x

@Hayleylou89 yay so excited for you that you got your Peak! I am on 5th day of flashing smiley. According to my app I should be ovulating tomorrow, might continue to do extra tests with my CB x

Sorry guys i'm rubbish at keeping up with them threads, have been checking in with the chat daily but struggle to keep up so being a silent watcher!!

Glad to see some of you are getting there with your ovulation tests, mine have pretty much gone back to no line, had what I think was ovulation symptoms last week but no matching opk, just trying to dtd every other day to try and catch it.

@hayleylou89 how many days are you after your mc? I'm cd16 so chances are I may not have ovulated yet.

@francis05 hi, I lost my baby girl at 22.5 weeks on 7th feb ...and bled for about 12 days then had a 39 day cycle usually.. Im usually 35-38 days ...now I'm on cd 23 and got my peak today xx

@francis05 your cycle sounds like mine. I got some darker opks (cheapies only for me this cycle :() and some ewcm. But they never went positive. But then the line completely disappeared and I only see a control. Cm gone back to sticky too. What cd are you on now? I’m on 26 x

@Mommybear05 thank you, Im feeling a bit achy/crampy today and my CM has changed so this might be all syncing up now which is positive. How are you today? X

@Hayleylou89 yay 🙌🏾 I knew it would come soon for you. Last 48hrs of DTD with purpose and then joining me hoping AF doesn't arrive before the end of the month. Are you going to do a cheapie to see what that looks like at peak aswell?

@VP91x all positive signs just keep bd and you certainly won’t miss your chance. I’m good thanks. No more spotting at all. Cm back to sticky so I would say I’m def in that luteal phase. Opks have just one line now. Just waiting around to see what happens. X

@SmileyT @Hayleylou89 if you do decide to do a cheapie can u post a pic so us opk novices can learn a little? Haha x

@Mommybear05 snap that's exactly what I've had! I'm on cd16. Cm the last few days has been a mix of creamy & sticky then sometimes it's creamy and stretchy, taking it as a good sign that it hasn't completely dried up. What day are you on?

@VP91x @Quail15 hopefully you get your peaks over the next couple days and we can all do that TWW together

@Mommybear05 with all those signs you may have ovulated and just not shown a positive on the opk, hopefully that's the case and we all have our BFPs before May.

@francis05 did you get a negative pregnancy test before you started opks? I had my SMM on 19th March and had strong opks about 10 days later when I started testing but they went down to a very faint line a week later they got strong again and I got my peak. I think they may have been strong before because of the pregnancy hormone not the LH so hopefully yours is still coming, id kinda given up before I saw the peak a week later than normal, so guessing the MC extended my cycle. x

@Hayleylou89 yayyy. This has made me smile this morning glad you've got your peak ! Glad its reassuring you that your cycle back to normal in your first cycle xxx have fun DTD and can stress less now 😘 xx and good to know the CB test is working too !! I should hopefully 🤞 not be too far behind you to join you in TTW as I should ovulate around Sunday probably. When will AF be due for you this month ? Mine will be due around 27th april Xx

@Skygirl1983 hey how are you doing? AF was due the end of the week wasn't it? Have you had any signs or still just enjoying the sun and staying relaxed? x

@SmileyT yeah I had a negative test 5 days after surgery which was on 24/03, bfn on 1/4. I already had medical management at the beginning of March which failed but there wasn't a huge amount to remove in surgery which is why I think I had a positive test so soon.

@francis05 this makes sense, hopefully it's going to happen in the coming days, like you said just keep DTD and then you know you won't miss it whatever happens 🙌🏾

@SmileyT I'm good. I'm currently on furlough so been enjoying the sun and doing some stuff round the house. Yeah I'm due AF pretty much anytime from now really. It was 4 weeks on Wednesday since my SMM so anytime over the next week I imagine. I have been feeling a little crampy but nothing else. I don't think I'm pregnant this month. I fully expect my period. I'm just hoping it's not a bad or painful one.

@SmileyT @Mommybear05 yes sure here is my cheapie this morning and its definitely the strongest one as its fmu aswell so none have ever been that strong with fmu. Least i know my signs now ... i get pains a few days before my peak and my temp drops the morning of my peak ( thats whats happened this time anyhow) xx where are u two upto now? X

@renna thank the lord 🙏 haha so happy to see that static! ...natural cycles is saying the 22nd ill be due AF and it says ill actually ovulate on Friday but depending on my temps the next two days then it might alter slightly x x

@Hayleylou89 No I don't have any! Kicking myself now because would have been useful to have both. Will do another CB test later and then do another FMU one tomorrow. My app says I should be ovulating tomorrow based on just days I have said my cycle is xx

Yeah just keep trying with ur cb, I literally used my second to last cheapy this morning, i had ordered more just incase the flashing continued but luckily got my peak this morning anyway 🙏 but if im not lucky this month, least im stocked up for next month but hoping i wont need them and get a little easter present 🐣 x
