TTC after miscarriage - April 2020

Starting this thread for anyone TTC after a miscarriage. My MC was in December and I’ve had no joy since, but these threads have been wonderful for being amongst lovely people going through the same thing.

As always, sorry to anyone who finds themselves here and fingers crossed we all get our rainbows soon 🌈

Ok update girls... I’ve started bleeding. Just very lightly so far, only noticeable when checking cm (tmi) and I’m on cd 25. So could it be that my period is coming? I was told 4-6 weeks after mc and it’s 25 days since mc. Could it be ib??? Maybe if it doesn’t get any heavier... the rules are there are no rules and it’s so annoying!!
I put it into Ovia and then when I refreshed the timeline it said nothing more than your reported spotting’. I’m like thanks for your insight haha.
Now to wait and see.. I hate this wait and see stuff haha.

@Mommybear05 it could be a little bit of residual bleeding? Or maybe even IB as you said. Are you getting any cramping or other symptoms?

@VP91x sorry for being thick but what is residual bleeding?
No cramping at all but yesterday I was very much on a downer and had a real mood swing (as you can tell from my long moany post!)

Ooh @Mommybear05 I'm hoping there is still some hope for you this month. I'm honestly so invested in you ladies getting BFPs, fingers crossed it's not AF showing up early 🤞 These bloody apps they are great for us wanting to plug all the information somewhere but they do just repeat back what we tell them 😂

@SmileyT I was just thinking that today. I want some bloody suggestions from these apps. I think they're just mining our data, but hopefully using it for proper research.

@witchysticks I'm on the first month of using them so I'm hoping that the more data they have the more information they give back. Because telling me I'm ovulating the day I tick to say I had a positive ovulation test 😂

Bleeding has stopped now. Like completely. Nothing. Hmmm interesting. Spoke to hubby and he said well if it is af we won’t get our December baby but at least we will know more about what’s going on and a pregnancy in future might be easier to date. I’m just worried about going back into lactational amenorrhea and going months and months without periods again, so even if it is af I’m going to take it on the chin and feel positive :)

Another smiley this afternoon for me @Renna and this is my opk to match it, surely its not normal to have quite a strong lh for so long but not get positive? 🙈 feel like theres something wrong with me x

@VP91x thank you. I don’t think it’s that though. It was more red and ‘fresh’ (tmi) which also suggests it’s not implantation bleeding. We will see I suppose xx

@Hayleylou89 mine were like that too, lots of strong ones but never an actual positive. Then the second line completely disappeared and cm went back to suggest luteal phase. Maybe you somehow missed the peak? Sorry I’m not sure how the cb ones work x

@Mommybear05 I know i could have missed it but then my temps havnt spiked either yet so doesnt suggest iv ovulated either so just been dtd aloooot and hoping for the best right now 🙏 x x

@Hayleylou89 you can't see it in these pics but my opks were high before they got low and then a week later I peaked so hopefully yours is still coming. My temp went up after suspected Ovulation yesterday, so hopefully you'll know once it's happened but this month has definitely been a case of DTD as much as possible for us aswell 😂

@SmileyT ohhh maybe mine will do the same 🙏... what time did u test iv literally been not drinking hardly anything in the day to be able to do my early evening tests at 5ish x

@SmileyT u seem to have got ur positives late on at night and i havnt really tested that late to be honest maybe i should do fmu and then later on in the evening time x

@Hayleylou89 ooh I knew that you were supposed to leave 4hrs before the CB tests but with the cheapies tbh I haven't been holding off drinking beforehand. The one that was peak wasn't positive 3hrs before or the next day so I reckon some of us will have a pretty short window you can catch it. Plus side you're DTD now anyway so you won't miss it 😊

. At least you're DTD so you're doing the right thing even if you end up not picking up on the tests . But looks like it could still come up yet xxx

Hi everyone, I hope you're all doing well. I'm starting to feel a bit better as my hormones are subsiding a bit. I still think I'll be ignoring all my tracking this month, I'm looking forward to hopefully being a bit less stressed end of April/beginning of May. Then maybe back to it in May!

@Re6ecc4 so good to hear that you are starting to feel better. Whatever you decide we are here for you

@Re6ecc4 that sounds like a great plan... take a bit of time, turn off the apps and no POAS and just enjoy the month and hopefully come back to it with a little more enjoyment. It will happen for you I have faith in that 💜
