Starting this thread for anyone TTC after a miscarriage. My MC was in December and I’ve had no joy since, but these threads have been wonderful for being amongst lovely people going through the same thing.

As always, sorry to anyone who finds themselves here and fingers crossed we all get our rainbows soon 🌈

@TerribleImagination sorry AF got you but your body is just waiting for that very sticky bean and with a short cycle at least that means your fertile time will come around again soon.

VP91x · 04/04/2020 08:17

Thank you @Re6ecc4 fingers crossed for you that all your positive signs keep coming! X

SmileyT · 04/04/2020 08:21

@Re6ecc4 can't see the line on the pic, what did your fiancé say? Like you said yesterday maybe you should wait a couple of days to test again but symptoms sound positive and AF isn't here so 🙌🏾

VP91x · 04/04/2020 08:21

Thank you @SmileyT sorry to hear about your MMC 😔 hope you are okay especially with it being so soon. Yes, I ordered the CB advanced one - I have read great things about it. TTC is such a project you end up googling and buying all sorts. Hopefully we both get positives very soon x

Re6ecc4 · 04/04/2020 08:22

We did indeed @Mommybear05. I'm glad my period isnt here yet, but nervous by the lack of a definitive test. Even though I know when I was pregnant it took 6 days to go positive

Mommybear05 · 04/04/2020 08:57

@VP91x all positive signs and you’re about to get to that exciting part in your cycle. Wishing you all the best. And yes with your little girl if you conceive now that would be wonderful to give her a sibling.

I’ve been thinking a lot about this lately, giving my little boy a brother or sister. And today I’ve decided to again try and give up the breastfeeding. I tried back in December and it upset me and I didn’t feel ready, but now I’m thinking it’s a few months later and to give it another go. Maybe we are both ready now. He’s 16 months so I’ve done it for quite a while. I’m thinking do I want to be breastfeeding him when I have morning sickness or a bump? Probably not. I always like the idea of tandem feeding but now I’m not sure. Feel so conflicted! I’m not entirely sure but I’m going to try and wean again and see how it goes. If we both are upset again I will know it’s still not the right time for us. Weaning will certainly help my chances ttc but I didn’t want to wean only for that reason. Just lately he feeds less and seems distracted anyway so maybe it’s time to take that next step. I’m giving it a go anyway Wink

VP91x · 04/04/2020 09:30

@Mommybear05 if you feel ready you should definitely give weaning another go so that you can TTC #2 and also it will be good for you to have a break from it. It must be alot for you to still do on top of daily mum duties. If your little boy is feeding less and able to be distracted then a really good time to go for it.

Skygirl1983 · 04/04/2020 09:37

@Mommybear05 definitely not green! Haha! Light yellow in colour, like a jelly consistency hence the snot description! Had been quite wet on the day previous too! Will see how today goes. I'm 8 days from predicted AF and I usually get my pre AF sore boobs by now. They haven't appeared yet. When I was pregnant I didn't get them early on either! I hope that's a good thing!

Re6ecc4 · 04/04/2020 09:40

@Skygirl1983 how exciting all good signs

Hayleylou89 · 04/04/2020 09:57

@Re6ecc4

Its hard to see but if i angle my phone i think i see the faint line 🙏... have u not got frer ? X x that would surly be bright pink if AF is due and hasnt shown and itll put ur mind at rest x

Skygirl1983 · 04/04/2020 09:58

It could mean nothing too I suppose. I haven't had a cycle yet so not sure what to expect.

Mommybear05 · 04/04/2020 11:04

@Skygirl1983 ooh it’s a good sign for you then. Fingers crossed :) an increase in you cm is also positive.

My cm has now gone to that creamy/ sticky phase and my ovulation tests don’t even have a second line any more. So I either missed the surge when testing or I didn’t ovulate. But I definitely had ewcm so that’s a good sign. But it guarantees nothing! Will have to just wait and see. Cd 22 now!

Mommybear05 · 04/04/2020 11:04

@VP91x yes IM making no promises with the weaning but I’m going to try it and see how I get on. How are you feeling today?

Re6ecc4 · 04/04/2020 12:02

@Hayleylou89 I didnt even get a line on a frer last time until 12 days after I was due on 😅

VP91x · 04/04/2020 12:16

@Mommybear05 absolutely you can only give it a go and see how it works out.

Yeah good actually, making the most of the sunshine and getting out in the garden. I have been enjoying a glass of wine with dinner the last couple of weeks. Thinking I should probably stop that now. How are you feeling today?

SmileyT · 04/04/2020 12:41

@Skygirl1983 all sounds very positive 🙌🏾... bet you're feeling like 9 days until testing is going to feel long but at least the sun is out and Easter next weekend may be a small distraction🤞 🌈

Skygirl1983 · 04/04/2020 12:44

@SmileyT last time I was on the tww I was going nuts waiting. Now I feel so much more chilled about it. Going to enjoy the sun and sit outside and have got plenty of jobs round the house this week to keep me busy! I just need to not be tempted to test early!

Hayleylou89 · 04/04/2020 15:11

@Re6ecc4 really thats crazy isnt it! Its a good sign though that no af has not arrived! Xx

SmileyT · 04/04/2020 15:21

@Skygirl1983 yeah that sounds like a good plan to keep busy. I don't think I'll test until AF is at least 2 weeks late as sometimes my cycle varies and I think I'll be more disappointed with a BFN than AF but this is my first time actively TTC so I'll probably turn crazed when it comes to it 😂

Re6ecc4 · 04/04/2020 15:22

@Hayleylou89 I know it really had me worried first time round so this time I'm less bothered and taking it slow

Skygirl1983 · 04/04/2020 15:56

@SmileyT I want to wait too as after I found out early last time every dragged and made me extra anxious! If I hold off I'll ask if I can get a scan around 8 weeks. And if I make it past then I'll be happy as my last one stopped developing at 7 and a half weeks. And also hopefully the hospitals will be in a better position at that point too.

SmileyT · 04/04/2020 15:59

@RachelStrickson hope your scan went well and hopefully DP was able to attend with you. x

SmileyT · 04/04/2020 16:12

@Skygirl1983 yeah agreed last time I found out at 5 weeks, I had a scan at 6 weeks, 7weeks and then it was another early scan at 9 weeks that found out that baby had stopped growing 2 days after being told that they had a strong heartbeat at 7 weeks so if I could get to 6weeks before I find out and then get an early scan at 8/9weeks that would probably leave me feeling much more reassured, glad there are still some clinics doing early scans even in these uncertain times. Ahh it's such a minefield, one day I feel super chilled and then the next I've convinced myself I'm infertile 🤦🏾‍♀️

Re6ecc4 · 04/04/2020 18:17

Saying I'm less bothered apparently didnt make me any less bothered, just been stress googling about late bfps and miscarriage:(

GeminiFiona · 04/04/2020 19:00

Hi,
Can join as well please? Smile I'm 38 (39 in June) had a mmc last Sept '19 (first pregnancy) and this is my 3rd cycle of TTC. AF due this week, Thursday and it also would have been my due date this wk on 7th April. Would have been nice to have been pregnant again before that particular milestone Hmm. Sooo I caved this morning (10dpo), too much time of my hands and took one of the free pregnancy tests that came with Preseed, it was negative. I know there's still a chance. I've been hyper vigilant to symptoms, nothing stand out. Trying to see the positives of being in lockdown, everyone says possible Corona baby boom, hope that's all of us on this thread! But also with lockdown comes less distraction and a chance to take obsession to get pregnant to new level! Grin But I am enjoying the time to talk more about it with my partner... I'm definitely the instigator in the baby making, he'd be happy if I was pregnant but hasn't previously been that open to the angst & stress us women have to go through or ticking clock feeling! Smile

Thanks all for sharing xx
