Starting this thread for anyone TTC after a miscarriage. My MC was in December and I’ve had no joy since, but these threads have been wonderful for being amongst lovely people going through the same thing.

As always, sorry to anyone who finds themselves here and fingers crossed we all get our rainbows soon 🌈

It's so faint even I cant see it in the pic 😬

Re6ecc4 · 03/04/2020 19:59

Sorry forgot to tag yous in the message @SmileyT @Mommybear05 @Sallyjo27

SmileyT · 03/04/2020 20:07

Hi @francis05 I think you had your surgery after me, mine was on the 19th March and experienced some spotting, colour when wiping after doing anything slightly strenuous, the Dr told me that light bleeding for up to two weeks after surgery was not unusual. If it has been less than 2 weeks it might just be that your cervix is still slightly sensitive and the spotting mixing with your CM. Having said that some women do get ovulation spotting so also may be that. Sorry probably doesn't help at all 🤦🏾‍♀️

SmileyT · 03/04/2020 20:08

@Re6ecc4 well positives are that AF is still not here, like you said you didn't get a positive until you were 6 days late before so you're still quite early for tests so hoping it's still good news 💜

Re6ecc4 · 03/04/2020 20:14

@SmileyT guess you cant see anything then? Pic is above haha

Sallyjo27 · 03/04/2020 20:20

@Re6ecca4 I’m sorry I can’t see a second line but sometimes it doesn’t show up as clear on camera. It’s still good news that there is no AF, are you going to do another test first thing in the morning? I have everything crossed for you!

Skygirl1983 · 03/04/2020 20:22

@Re6ecc4 can you put a colour pic up?

I have been getting CM that I can only describe as looking like snot! Not smell or anything, just a snot like texture!

SmileyT · 03/04/2020 20:23

@Re6ecc4 no I can't see a second line on the pic but that might just be the lighting in the pic, how are you feeling?

Re6ecc4 · 03/04/2020 20:26

@SmileyT I cant see it on the pic either but I could in real life. My phone cam isnt as good as my eyes though. I'm feeling good though, lots of milky CM. I might wait for a couple days to test again!

francis05 · 03/04/2020 21:46

@SmileyT yes my surgery was on 24th March so not even 2 weeks yet, your explanation sounds a lot more likely than ovulation spotting. Although in the last hour have been getting quite bad cramps & backache... Could AF be in her way already? Absolutely clueless!

SmileyT · 03/04/2020 22:59

@francis05 I think the first month after surgery is a little bit of unknown territory, I know a lot of ladies on here had their first AF 28days later but i guess it's different for everyone so some earlier and some later. I did get some abdominal pain after a week or so but seemed to pass for me.

TerribleImagination · 03/04/2020 23:04

I’m out for this month 😔😢 AF arrived a day early this evening. 24 day cycle for the first time ever. I don’t know what’s happening with my body... I got pregnant the 2nd month of trying before, but since the MC it’s been 4 months now and nothing... This sucks 😢

Sorry that AF arrived @terribleimagination :( its rubbish isnt it

@scrumdiddly123 sorry that you are having such a rollercoaster of emotions! Do they think it might be ectopic given that the hcg is rising? Hopefully not xx

@triedandtestedteacher yes best to see what the EPU says, hopefully they can reassure you

VP91x · 04/04/2020 06:19

Hi All,

I have come across this thread as had a MMC at 9 weeks in December 2019. We are trying to conceive and have started using the ClearBlue Advanced Digital - I know I ovulate earlier in my cycle so this will help pinpoint hopefully.

Can I join in on ths thread?Smile

Sorry that we all find ourselves here after a MMC. It really was a traumatic time.

X

Mommybear05 · 04/04/2020 08:03

@TerribleImagination aw sorry af got you! Sending lots of hugs. FlowersI do hear that after mc it can take a few months before your cycles regulate Sad

Mommybear05 · 04/04/2020 08:04

@Re6ecc4 it’s difficult to see on the pic! How are you for symptoms now??

Re6ecc4 · 04/04/2020 08:04

Anyway, this mornings update is that stil no period, still a lot of discharge, sore boobs and sensitive nipples.

@VP91x I'm sorry for your loss, I hope you find some comfort and some help here!

Re6ecc4 · 04/04/2020 08:06

@Mommybear05 ah I just wrote an update above! And I know even I cant see it on the pic... maybe I'm just going mad.
Still not got AF though!

Mommybear05 · 04/04/2020 08:06

@VP91x hello and welcome. Sorry to hear of your loss. My loss was at nine weeks too although I was only measuring 4-5 weeks. Such a horrible shock but we are in this together now! Good for you with the clear blue. I’m going to invest in some next cycle I think. Where are you at in your cycle now??

Mommybear05 · 04/04/2020 08:08

@Re6ecc4 lol we must have messaged at the same time. Lots of discharge is a good sign. I remember that with early pregnancy. And the sore boobs can be a sign of either pregnancy or af annoyingly! But af is still away so surely positive.

Mommybear05 · 04/04/2020 08:11

@Skygirl1983 haha snot. By that do you mean stretchy?? Hopefully not green lol

Mommybear05 · 04/04/2020 08:12

@francis05 never had the surgery so got no advice for you I’m afraid. But thinking of you. How are you feeling now?

SmileyT · 04/04/2020 08:13

Sorry you find yourself here @VP91x but welcome to the group, my amazon order arrived yesterday with my clearblue ovulation kit so I'm also interested to see if it can pinpoint exactly when I ovulate. My pregnancy that ended in a MMC in March was unplanned so this is my first time TTC and found the IC quite hard to read so decided to try CB aswell, here's hoping it helps us get our 🌈 x

VP91x · 04/04/2020 08:16

@Mommybear05 - it really is horrible, I have a little girl who is now 2y3m so I am really grateful would love a little brother or sister for her.

I am on CD7, my cycles have been short since MC (around 22-24 days) so following the test guide I started testing yesterday. Got a circle yday and then flashing smiley today so going to start trying just to get in as much chance haha. X
