TTC after miscarriage - April 2020

Starting this thread for anyone TTC after a miscarriage. My MC was in December and I’ve had no joy since, but these threads have been wonderful for being amongst lovely people going through the same thing.

As always, sorry to anyone who finds themselves here and fingers crossed we all get our rainbows soon 🌈

@renna its a nightmare isnt it... im ok my cervix is high and soft so def heading in the right direction for ovulation but wish it would just hurry up 🙈😂..... i had that wierd temp
And opk spike right after AF which was strange so i hope that wasnt Ovulation so early but i dtd a couple Of times then to cover myself but its all just so confusing...thats probably why clear blue dont recommend starting to use them until 2 cycles after a loss 🙈🙈 but couldnt help myself.

if id have started testing when they actually asked it would only be my 3rd smiley face but impatient anny over here started about 10 days ago 😂 so shouldn't expect anything less really - my predicted ovulation day is sunday! On or before would be great 🙏

@Skygirl1983 I monitor CM for fertility tracking and have the same, I'm very "wet" down there where normally I'd be feeling a bit dry by now! Have you any other symptoms?

Also, has anyone else ever had complete lack of AF symptoms as a pregnancy symptom? Last time I got pregnant I had no AF symptoms at all and I usually get incredibly sore boobs and cramps up to a week before AF. At the.moment I've got no sore boobs and no cramps, and AF due Friday.

@Re6ecc4 I'm only 3dpo so not noticed anything else yet. Just the mega amounts of CM! When I was pregnant I didn't get my usual pre AF really sore boobs!! That's how I knew I was possibly pregnant too. I'm keeping an eye on the boobs as if AF was going to come they'll be sore in a day or 2.

My sore boobs usually appear around 10 days before AF. I'm due on end of next week so tomorrow or the next day will be tell tale with the boobs!

I wish I had started temping again as when I implanted I had a dip and a tiny bit of blood! Everything for me was textbook! I'll keep an eye out end of this week for any blood in my CM

@Hayleylou89 ooh we are cycle buddies I'm currently CD13 waiting for ovulation to occur/ wondering if it's already passed 🤦🏾‍♀️

@Skygirl1983 I wasn't actively TTC when I got got pregnant this year but I was on holiday when AF was due, so was checking my pants all the time and noticed CM was very creamy which would've been about 5/6dpo but don't know if that is the norm.

@SmileyT how long are ur cycles usually mine are 35-38 and iv had one that was 32 x

@Hayleylou89 when I was pregnant I was very leaky but I cant remember how early it started. It must have been very early on though as I remember leaking when walking to work thinking my period had arrived, I got my BFP very early too.

@Hayleylou89 my cycles pre-MC were pretty steady at 28 days but no idea what this first cycle will be doing so we'll see. My plan is to just DTD as much as poss and test on 30th April if no AF, I'm already nervous 😬

@Skygirl1983 yeah I know what you mean... hoping that you have some good news soon, when do you plan to test?

@SmileyT I think I'm going to try and hold off and see if AF comes or is late. I hated knowing early then worrying if AF was still going to come! I honestly think I'll be lucky if we have caught so soon but you never know!

@Mommybear05 we are currently living with my parents - whilst our house sale goes through - so now we try to time DTD as close as we can lol! Hubby says it’s more like a business transaction - although he still isn’t complaining!! I’m the same with my friend too - really happy for her, it has made me so impatient for it to happen to me again! We didn’t expect to fall pregnant so quickly the first time, so I’m really hoping it will be similar again!!

@Leok83 ahh I use the BBT too - I found the natural cycles app really helpful as it gives you peak fertility days - definitely helpful and easier for me to use the the Lh strips! I’m sure your friend would understand - I think my friend felt guilty (2 other of her friends had also mc too!) but I kept asking her how she was and for updates so she knew I still wanted to hear which I think helped!

@SmileyT that’s a good idea!! I use a BBT app too - but might also track LH over the month!

@skygirl1983 I only started noticing my CM once I started tracking my BBT, but the only time I conceived, I had none after, but I think CM is something that ends up being fairly unique to you? Not sure though!!

@Skygirl1983 yeah I've convinced myself that I won't test until at least 2 weeks post expected AF so that I don't have the fear for too long, especially in current times when I'll likely have to wait for 12 weeks to get a scan, think an early result and a 2 month week would be too much for me x

@Skygirl1983 that's exactly how I figured it! I just felt like I wasnt coming on. Felt weird dizzy and sick. Felt exactly like I do now actually! Cant wait so excited for you!

Hello everyone. I had a missed miscarriage in January at 9 weeks, with surgical management and it took 8 weeks for the hormone to go and AF to finally appear. Decided to go ahead and start trying again despite everything

BUT... what should be 2 days after ovulation (Day 20) im getting a v.v. faint positive pregnancy test? (I mixed up the dip tests). Only half the line is pink and I'm a bit baffled. Anyone had this happen? Feel like i'm going crazy here. I knew my cycle was a bit loopy after the miscarriage everything but still. Also ovulation test fully positive as well.

@Hayleylou89 my cheapies look a little like yours! Bottom two are today. No positive, so frustrating!

@Hayleylou89 yes when I was pregnant I was quite leaky- like water. I think it’s to help fight infections and things.

@SmileyT I'm the same. I don't want to find out early and wont rush to the doctors either. Less time to wait until the first scan.

When are your AFs due? Mine is due Easter weekend sometime.

My AF is due Friday! April 3rd. Hoping and praying it doesnt come for any of us !

@Skygirl1983 yes stranger things have happened. I live in hope there’s a chance straight away for us! I’m also going to wait and not test early. Those early nervous days of pregnancy are simply horrible. I’ll wait (she says haha I’ve got three tests in the cupboard just waiting...)

I told myself to wait to buy a test and then I got tired and thankfully the 24h shop is closing at 8 due to corona so I cant go and get any - that's ASDA unknowingly saving me from myself 😅
