This thread is for anyone TTC or testing in March after a miscarriage.

@shhhhs I’m on cycle four and my ovulation has been delayed the last few cycles, latest was about CD22, seems to be slowly coming back to normal.

Thanks for the reply @sparkl 😊 ok that's good to know, I was starting to think I'd missed it but wasn't sure how I would have as have been testing since CD10. Hopefully ovulation will be here soon. Two friends have had babies this week and its making the want to be pregnant again even more intense 😣

I've taken a step back from MN over half term, we've had a sickly house. LO had flu the week before ht, mummy at the beginning of the week but it was short lived (prob due to flu jab when I was pregnant with my girls) and of course Daddy is now dying.

@Sparkl I agree, it's so out of order actually. @Moominmiss, you are a bloody saint. I would have to step back from her for a bit I think , in the nicest possible way as I know she's been a good friend to you, but hasn't she got anyone else to spill all this too who isn't trying for a baby after having had a miscarriage.

It's just really shit isn't it, constantly sometimes, but we are all here and all understand the low lows as well as the high highs. Because trust me there will be high highs again. I found myself singing at the top of my voice earlier in the kitchen feeling elated and so powerfully happy. Then I went out and saw a vastly pregnant woman and I was right back down in that place again where it all feels hopeless and futile .

DP read me an article today about how it may take a few cycle for the body to get back on track after MC and so nothing to worry about and to give ourselves 6months before starting to freak out :)

@shhhhs I had one cycle where OV was so delayed I had 10 days flashing smileys, nearly lost the plot

@Michette that sounds like sensible advice. I’ve been self diagnosing with every possible fertility problem but I had never tracked cycles much before mc so it’s kind of pointless analysing every little thing. I hope it is that cycle is just settling back down 🤞So hard to be sensible though when your whole focus is a positive test!

@Moominmiss I agree with the others I think I would be distancing myself otherwise I think resentment would build and there would be no friendship. I think she's so caught up in her own drama she doesn't realise how insensitive she's being to your situation. I think like others have said unless you've been through this yourself, people just don't 'get it'.

@ChampooPapi I can relate to that totally 😂 some days I feel like I'm having a great day, everything's good and then something will just hit me and I start feeling sorry for myself again and thinking it's never gona work for us. Totally irrational I know and its exhausting living on a daily emotional rollercoaster.

@shhhhs my cycles are still a little unpredictable. I had my first period in jan, febs then came on CD27 which is early for me. I've just ovulated around CD16 so waiting now to see when AF arrives. I'm a little worried as I already feel like she's on her way again which would make my cycle really short and my luteal phase not long enough but I could be worrying unnecessarily. My pre-MC cycles used to be around 29-32 days with ovulation around day 16-19🤷🏼‍♀️ so hoping that's the case this month but I'm not sure it will be. I think it is normal for cycles to be a little all over the place for a few months. I'm just hoping it doesn't affect our chances!

Hoping to be trying from second week in March so I won't be testing until the very end of March. Good luck to those testing before!

@fizzl so frustrating things cant just go straight back to normal. I've just OPK (CD17) and the line couldn't be fainter, long cycles are the worst, just adds to the waiting game. Thanks for the reassurance though 😊

@shhhhs before My first cycle after MC i ovulated on CD20 and before used to be CD15
I almost lost hope!

But somehow ovulation can be delayed...

Hi, first post here 👋
I’m TTC baby no. 4. Had a MC in October at 5 weeks and currently going through a MMC. Found out at 8 weeks that baby has stopped growing at 5. I’ve just stopped bleeding and have my follow up scan on Tuesday so keeping everything crossed that I’ve passed everything naturally and we can get back to TTC straight away. Would be great to have some support on this emotional rollercoaster!

Hey everyone, thank you all so so much for listening to me have my little rant. It felt good to know I could get it out somewhere.
I’ve not been as responsive with my messages to my friend, which I do feel bad about but I think I needed to for my own mental health.
I don’t think she’s done any of it from a malicious place, as someone else said I think she’s become so caught up in her whirlwind of drama that she’s not thought about my past situation or how it might affect me.
I may have to let her in again though, she’s text me today saying that she poured with blood earlier and passed a fairly big clot and now she’s bleeding on wiping and passed several smaller clots and is cramping.
I’m going to just say that she needs to get herself referred to the EPU so she can find out what’s going on either way. If she’s miscarrying then it would be good for her to know so she can choose how to manage it or allow nature to take its course, and if she’s still pregnant but not wanting to keep it then the sooner she decides the better and she can decide between medical management or surgical.
Am I literally the worst human being in the world though for almost being semi happy (not sure happy is the right word, maybe more relief?) when she told me 😩

I wouldn’t ever wish a miscarriage on anyone, but part of me thinks if she was going to just get rid of it anyway then I’d rather her miscarry a baby that wasn’t going to make it, than potentially terminate a healthy baby.
God I’m awful, I hate how bitter I’ve become.
I saw my SIL yesterday too, with her lovely little bump. She has her 20 week scan in a few weeks....I’d have been 3 days behind her. She doesn’t rub it in my face at all and is infact so lovely about it all, but I can’t help feel sick with jealousy over it all.

Anyway, on a more positive note I think ovulation occurred either Friday or Saturday and we’ve dtd loads so definitely covered all bases. If we don’t get our bfp this month I really don’t know what more we can do so will just have to carry on as we are and hope for the best. I wish there was an instant post sex test that could tell you if you’ve done it 😂

How’s everyone else getting on? When’s everyone due to test? I ‘think’ I’m going to be looking to test around 7th March ish, that’ll be roughly 2 weeks post suspected ovulation. Obviously being the poas addict that I am I will most likely start testing from around 3rd 🙈 which would be 10dpo.

@scrumdiddly123 so sorry to hear you're going through another mc. The ladies here are nothing short of amazing so you’ve come to the best place for support.
I’m also ttc number 4! Unfortunately I’m a lot older now so no longer have time in my side!

11dpo and a bfn this morning.
And also my boobs starting hurting last night and they are excruciating today which is normal pre af for me. On to cycle number i don't know it's been too long

Hey @Michette sorry AF got you this month. I'm currently on CD26 and 7dpo, but not going to test until AF is at least 3 days late (if she hasn't come by then/if I can manage that!) as I got my hopes up so much last month. AF is due on 2nd March so won't be testing till the 5th! Urgh that's still so long to wait after I've already been waiting a week haha xx

@Moominmiss You’re not awful at all! I’m sure a lot of us on here would have that thought too and then feel equally as bad about it! You’ve done the right thing by letting her know what she needs to do now.

I’m still in my fertile week! Got my flashing smiley today, but already been DTD since CD7 so covering all bases. I have a suspicion this might be a shorter cycle this month, so hoping to get my peak in the next few days 🤞🏻 So should be due AF second week in March. I don’t test unless AF doesn’t show though, so I’m really hoping I’ll get to test this month! 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🌈

Haha tell me about it with the instant post-sex test! I wish there was something super obvious that happens as soon as you’ve conceived, like your boobs start flashing or something 🤣

6dpo today no symptoms but that's expected haha! Pretty proud I haven't already been convinced that I am pregnant like I did last month 🤯🤣

@terribleimagination like when phoebe had ivf in friends and the same afternoon she got a positive test haha! Wish it was THat instant

@MilsCookie let's be strong this month with not testing! I am waiting till 16dpo (if I get there) so the 4th march

@Moominmiss loss does make you a little bit jealous on times unfortunately:( comes with the package. Atleast she has you for support if the worst does happen!

Hello, I’m back on! Took a little break for most of Feb, I felt like I became a bit obsessed with it all during the Jan thread but I’m currently 8dpo and feel like all of your lovely support will help get me through the next week!!! I’m symptom spotting like mad, tingly boobs, tired but can’t sleep and no cramps (which is unusual for me). I don’t want to get my hopes up but it’s so hard 🤞😬

@Moominmiss thank you. How old are your other children? It’s been hard to get my head around after having 3 successful pregnancies to then miscarry twice in 6 months! I just don’t understand it and praying it is just really bad luck and not something wrong with me.

@scrumdiddly123 mine are 9, 8 and 5. So it’s been a while since I’ve done the ttc thing and I was much younger back then.
I’m now 37 so fear I may have left it too late.
But my oh doesn’t have any children and he’d make a wonderful father. He’s so great with mine. I’d be heartbroken if it doesn’t work out for us.
Each of my pregnancies before were conceived within 3 cycles as was the one I miscarried, but this is the first mc I’ve ever been through so the only thing I can see that’s changed is my age!

How old are your 3?

I will keep my fingers crossed for both of us and the other ladies here 🤞🏻
