Hi @Hayleylou89 crossing all my fingers for you. I had a nearly peak yesterday when I was what I think was 5dpo. Driving myself crazy with imagining symptoms and googling online. Every vivid dream, feeling so irritable but it is all in my head wishful thinking I am sure. I think for me the aftermath of ttc again is becoming worse than the actual miscarriage. Taking off next month anyway as we have 14 people for xmas day. Hoping like you I did ovulate this month and I caught it. Please let me know how you get on. Liking seeing positive stories coming through on this thread already!

Hayleylou89 · 08/03/2020 22:16

@happyasbarry yeah think we just need to dtd as much as poss whilst we have the high LH readings and hope we catch it.. im going to keep on testing right the way through to see if it changes ... will keep you updated 🤞🏻 im the same symptom spotting every ache and twinge 😒 x

Happyasbarry · 08/03/2020 22:24

I agree! I fell pregnant fairly easily with both pregnancies, one DD, so hopeful that it will happen again. It is like what I always say to my friends, need to enjoy today and not wish your life away waiting for the future to happen. Right now though finding it so very hard to think of anything else and I am totally wishing the next few months away until I am pregnant again. Are you trying for you first?

Happyasbarry · 08/03/2020 22:25

Sorry @Hayleylou89 forgot to add your name to post!

Hayleylou89 · 08/03/2020 22:32

@happyasbarry
It will my first following my loss yes.

I got pregnant first month ttc last time so expectations are high this time too but what Will be will be ... its good we both got caught fast previously so weve got that in our favour! Just hope its the same this time round... dont even know when AF is due as iv not had AF since my loss so any pains or twinges could be AF so not getting my hopes too high but god am i hoping to be PG so we have our rainbow baby this year!! 🤞🏻

TerribleImagination · 08/03/2020 22:58

@Ejb86 That’s so good you’ve got a great GP, fingers crossed they can help 🤞🏻

I know what you mean, people say ‘only this many months’ but every month feels like a lifetime doesn’t it? And I do think sometimes we just know when something is up with our own bodies 🤷🏻‍♀️ Crossing everything for you lovely! ❤️

How are you 2ww ladies doing?

Last week I was feeling quite positive as we DTD every day for a week over my fw, plus I was feeling a bit nauseous and tired the last few days, but today I’m feeling a bit crampy so I think AF may be on its way. It’s due Weds judging by pre-mc cycles but my last cycle (first since mc) was a couple of days shorter so could be any time now I guess. I’m planning to wait until until Friday to test, if AF doesn’t show up before then. I’m not feeling very optimistic now though.

Leok83 · 09/03/2020 09:29

Hey hope everyone’s doing well!

At last I’ve got a static smiley after 7 flashing ones!! So happy to see that face😄, regular opk strip still hasn’t given me a peak but I’ve never had peak before so not too worried. Hopefully will ov tomorrow and BBT will confirm and will be joining some of you in the dreaded TWW, although waiting for that smiley was almost as bad!!

@Happythecrocodile fingers crossed for you!

@leok83 my worst part is waiting to ovulate haha!

Anyone else who miscarried their first pregnancy dreading mothers day? My mum is no longer with us so i have waited years for mothers day to be something to celebrate and now this is like two bits of grief this year 🙄🙄🙄

SunnySideUp2020 · 09/03/2020 11:04

So my fever is gone today and i managed to eat a little bit of toast and dtd in the morning and feel overall better.
However my surge is even stronger than yesterday and my apps have now delayed ovulation til tomorrow ... didnt get any ovulation sign apart from opk.

I wonder if being so sick blocked releasing the egg...

This morning the opk was almost black i had never seen this. Hope its not counter productive:/

Hi x
Had ERPC last monday 2nd march would have been 12 weeks but baby stopped growing around 8 weeks.
Bleeding stopped now
Did clear blue ovulation test today, so technically cd7 as it's been a week since erpc, and got a static smiley, peak ovulation.

This is quite early.

Has any one had this? Could it be picking up hcg hormones? Thanks x

shhhhs · 09/03/2020 12:22

Hi @courtneyrenna, sorry this is all so new for you, it's the worst, I hope you're recovering well.

Going by my own experience, OKP show high readings for sometimes quote a while after MC, so this very well could be what yours is showing, rather than ovulation. Have you had a negative pregnancy test yet?

courtneyrenna · 09/03/2020 12:46

@shhhhs thank you for your message xx

I thought that might be the case . I feel recovered from surgery and bleeding stopped now so thought I'd try see if I can track something and see what's going on with my body now. Did a pregnancy test this morning. Vert faint positive line there so its picking up hcg still but hopefully faint line means its lower levels.

Other pics are the ovulation test and the stick I did this morning too with dark lines but imagine this may be from hcg . Think I'll test again in few days later in week.

I tried to go back to work today as I feel okay in myself and felt ready . Until I was in work got upset and got sent home. I need to get a sick note from GP or something .

I hope you're well x

@courtneyrenna maybe start checking OKP once you've had your negative.

In regards to work I definitely wouldn't rush back. I took 2 weeks off but feel like I probably should have had longer. I'm 8 weeks post miscarraige now and it does get better but there still isn't a day that goes by that I don't think about it. I wish you all the luck with conceiving quickly again ♥️

DisneyMummySince2010 · 09/03/2020 14:36

@SunnySideUp2020 are you sure you’re not pregnant? That opk looks so dark! Maybe take a test? I know it might not ‘look like’ it works out with dates but you never know! I’ve seen loads of stories of women who get their period and a week late a BFP! Please test if you can, would love a BFP for you xx

Happyasbarry · 09/03/2020 14:51

Hi @Hayleylou89, yes we are both lucky there. Fingers crossed. Now almost five weeks since the start of the miscarriage, now I just want a BFP or my period to arrive so I know all is working again. I have looked through old threads and looked up old usernames and lots just disappeared after posting in these forums so assume this means they conceived very quickly after their miscarriages, serious stalking I know!

shhhhs · 09/03/2020 16:06

Does anyone here check their cervix position to determine where they are in their cycle?? I've been reading loads online about it and it says if you're ovulating or pregnant it is high. But it doesn't say if it drops lower after ovulation and then rises again (if pregnant) or just stays high following ovulation. Anyone know the answer? If the cervix doesn't drop again following ovulation surely this is a very early sign of pregnancy?

Hayleylou89 · 09/03/2020 16:29

@happyasbarry
Im heading into 5 weeks since giving birth too - iv felt crampy and my boobs are sore today but that could easily be AF on route too 😢... still been OPKing and they are fading so im hoping those stronger ones friday and sat where my surge and i covered all bases dtd this weekend and beforehand🤞🏻 now for the 2WW fingers crossed for us itd be amazing to get our BFPs together x

Hayleylou89 · 09/03/2020 16:50

@happyasbarry

These are my most recently logged opks so just got to hope on the 6th march was a genuine surge as we dtd on 5th/6th/7th /8th 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Hayleylou89 · 09/03/2020 17:02

@shhhhs

I have checked mine a few times and it always seems quite high but sometime u can tell if its open or closed (i think) but im no expert if its open u can feel its like a dohnut with a little hole in the middle and if its closed its like ur lips tight shut & u cant really feel a hole there (always do it following a shower or bath so ur nice and clean) 🙂

shhhhs · 09/03/2020 17:23

@hayleylou89 I've checked mine through out this cycle and it seemed to be pretty textbook, as in low when not in fertile stage and then high for ovulation. I'm 3DPO now and it's still really high, I'm clutching at straws and hoping this is a good sign regarding egg fertilisation 🤞

Hayleylou89 · 09/03/2020 17:28

How do the opening feel does it feel like a tight closed slit 🙈 thats what mine feels like now and the past few days its felt like a little hole and been open so i hope im checking right - mine also seem high like right up by my bum from the inside almost (if that makes sense) 😂 this two week wait is the worst when you just need to know either way 🤞🏻 when was ur mc if u dnt mind me asking? How long have u been ttc? Xx

shhhhs · 09/03/2020 17:44

@hayleylou89 exactly same for me! Sorry I haven't read back properly, are you due to test in about 2 weeks then? I had MC on Jan 10th, had one period 28 days later and now I'm CD32 and only just ovulated!! I've been so so lucky in regards to normally conceiving pretty quickly so of course hoping my luck is in this month, as I hope the same for everyone!
