I saw a thread about this back from 2019, a few people noticed their resting heart rate started to increase steadily after ovulation and they got there bfp. (Although people did report it rose then dropped before AF)

Just wondering if anyone on here has tracked and got a definite bfp?

I'm currently 10dpo and my heart rate has jumped from 60bpm to 67bpm since ovulation.

Not sure when my period is due as they are irregular.

Attached my chart too!

popcorndiva · 02/06/2020 08:04

BFN this morning at 11dpo and my rhr has now dropped to its usual low. Expecting AF tomorrow now

mrswilso · 02/06/2020 08:46

Sorry to hear it @popcorndiva - got my fingers crossed for you for next month finger 🤞🏻

Interesting thread! So I exercise a lot, but during 2WW I have cut down, so hard to know if dip in HR is related to my body thanking me for a rest or to do with my cycle 🙈 was at it's highest on sat at 61, but only had a few hours sleep Friday, now its dropped back to 51. Im 8dpo. Be interesting to see of the drop is related to AF arriving

buckingmad · 02/06/2020 09:43

Goodness knows where AF is. I’m now cd39, 16dpo and BFN still. RHR is all over the place, between 4-10bpm above average but not consistently getting higher.

Have had back ache the last few days which isn’t normal pre-AF for me.

MrsSam88 · 03/06/2020 10:44

Hi,
We’re TTC I’m going little bit nuts symptom spotting! I’m 7dpo ovulation today.
Would anyone like to take a look at my chart?
My heart rate seems to be higher than normal this month but I think it’s down to my hay fever and tablets possibly. It normally drops to around 66 a few days after ovulation.
The 63 is a day into AF and the 72 is 1dpo.
Anybody make anything Of this? Thank you!

SmileyT · 03/06/2020 19:58

@MrsSam88 have you got your chart from last month? What is your normal pattern? Mine drops after AF then rises after ovulation but I think everyone is slightly different. 🤞 for you x

MrsSam88 · 03/06/2020 20:20

Hi @SmileyT thank you for answering! I was ill in April so it’s a bit weird, I have March though, I’ve marked it with af and ovulation. 7dpo could be too early?!

@MrsSam88 hi! I've stuck my chart on cos it shows my whole last cycle quite well. It's been a wee bit different this month than last but I had a bit of a mild chest infection in the last two weeks.
I've marked AF in red - you can see the end of last months and the current one - and I've marked where o thought I ovulated in green.

I haven't used anything to confirm the ovulation other than symptom spotting but I'm pretty sure it's correct.

Hope it helps to see someone else's chart - it's definitely not an exact science, everyone's can look different and different things can influence it too.

Sending lots of luck and babydust ✨

Thank you @mrswilso Smile

Here is my first full chart in all its glory 🤓

Interesting to see that RHR really does drop significantly just before AF (AF arrived today).

So the highest peak on there at 65 was the day before ovulation, when I got my peak OPK.

We weren't trying this month, no DTD so knew there was no chance of pregnancy. However I am glad of this now as it's so interesting to have this graph as an absolute control for next time!

SarahTTC2020 · 06/06/2020 08:46

I've gone and tracked my last 4 cycles on an excel and can't really spot a pattern with mine except a rise leading up to AF and then a steep drop of 3/4bpm for the 2 days before AF.
This TWW looks different from my others, still rising but AF due on Thurs so now if I see a drop next week I'll just assume she's coming!
The dip in my graph was around ov

@SarahTTC2020 your graph is looking very positive 😊

LV1987 · 06/06/2020 11:02

@SmileyT I thought you would be interested to see my graph so far this month... Having got my peak OPK on Thursday, I actually have a noticeable peak on my RHR this month too! So no weird and wonderful up and down up and down Corona stress this month, yay! It's not been this clear on any other cycle, so I am now thinking the last few I tracked were possibly annovulatory - particularly as I also never peaked on my OPKs previously. Here's to another TWW!

SmellyBeard · 06/06/2020 13:51

@SarahTTC2020 Do you know when you ovulated on your graph?

Moominmiss · 06/06/2020 15:10

Does anyone have a clue what my graph shows?
From what I can tell, f all!

So I only started wearing my fitbit again regularly last month so this is all the data I haha s, so no previous cycles to compare against.

I ovulated on 2nd May last month, that date isn’t on my graph, but then 5dpo on 7th May I had a spike which I’ve marked. Then I’ve marked where I started af, and then I’ve marked where I got my next positive opk.
I’ve not yet had any kind of spike though as of yet. Only up to 68bpm.
I’m still doing opk’s and not had anything more than faint lines so no second surge or anything.
I’m assuming that perhaps my positive opk was a false surge and that this month I haven’t ovulated at all?

MrsSam88 · 06/06/2020 15:17

@Moominmiss I think going up after ovulating is a good thing. Mine normally go down.
Here’s my last 3 months AF in red, ovulation in green. (Last months a bit different I think as I was ill) Mine always goes down after ovulation and up after AF. This month my heart rate has gone to highest it’s ever been, I got a BFP and but today a 2nd BFN Sad so waiting for it to go right down for AF now. Interesting the difference though

SmileyT · 06/06/2020 23:14

@LV1987 ooh it is interesting to see a pattern this month, 🤞 it keeps rising all the way to that BFP xx

SarahTTC2020 · 06/06/2020 23:53

@SmellyBeard I ovulated on 26th may so the seemed to stay the same 🤷🏼‍♀️ but then been rising since. Just expecting a drop a couple of days before AF next week I think as I don't feel pg x

SmileyT · 07/06/2020 07:28

My chart seems to be doing the same as previous months, starts dropping a day after AF starts, hits lowest point at ovulation and is rising towards my next period... still trying to work out if it's bad news that mine is low for ovulation when others have a peak there 🤷🏾‍♀️

SarahTTC2020 · 07/06/2020 09:37

@SmileyT mine was low at ovulation too, maybe best to not to compare to others and to observe your own pattern? Not that I can really see much of a pattern in my last 4... But then I was binge drinking quote heavily a lot this year which plays complete havoc with my rhr!

LV1987 · 07/06/2020 10:00

@SmileyT it's gone up to 69bpm today. I've never seen it this high, hopefully as I said, it's a sign that I have actually ovulated this month... Probably just lockdown lifestyle catching up with me though! 😂

SarahTTC2020 · 07/06/2020 10:17

Oh mines dropped today... Can only imagine that's the start of 2-3 days dropping then before AF due on weds 😔 always next time!

LeopardLover · 07/06/2020 10:18

I love this thread! Unfortunately I've tried to track my past few cycles and can't find any patterns, but it's still super interesting. Smile

SmileyT · 07/06/2020 12:36

@SarahTTC2020 yeah I agree about only looking at your own patterns, I'm very sad and actually put my RHR into an excel sheet, which did show mine is always high at my period drops in the middle of my cycle and then rises again (nightmare for any signs of BFP though)

@LV1987 yours is looking very good, month I was pregnant it was the highest my HR had been in the 4years I've had it but since MC/ lockdown it seems to be higher anyway so god knows what this means x
