@Beau2020x hi there x I usually get positive between CD13-15 x opks are still showing as low, but they don't normally go up until day before the peak x

@mrslane2019 It is heartbreaking. I've been on both sides, even when I was having a termination myself the pure guilt of knowing that other people can't have children and I am doing this? Now I'm struggling myself, the only thing I can say is that it's karma on my side! And I'll take it if I am honest. As the saying goes, good things come to those who wait. Me and my OH have been pregnant before so I just have to cling on to that and tell myself it will happen again.

Did an opk this morning and went from LH5 last night to LH31 this morning, definitely a lot darker than the others but still deffo negative! My LH surge was so quick last month, peaked and dropped to zero in about 12 hours so I've brought one to work to do one at 1pm just in case. I am praying to god that this is the start of my surge! DTD Sunday, last night and going to go tonight and then of course deffo friday.

Anyone else in FW?? @Katie1109 you are only a few days behind me I think?

I forgot to say, I changed my name again (slightly). Got a load of abuse sticking up for one of our old thread buddies who was asking what peoples thoughts where on the internet having photos of aborted and still birthed babies online/people posting them on social media.... cba with that shit. I wasn't even offensive.

@Beau2020x glad your opk is getting darker x mine goes up to between 30-40 day before the peak, so maybe yours does the same! My surge also lasts around 12 hours, I usually get it in the afternoon and by the morning it's back to mid-range high x fingers crossed for you x and yeah it sounds like I'm going to be about 3 days behind you O date wise unless mine comes early x do you take primrose oil at all? I was wondering if you had any side effects of it?

@Danni2019 you could still have a chance yeah it depends on when you ovukate once you get a smiley face, I ovulate the day of the smiley face which is also the day of my temp rise, oyhe people ovukate 1 day after the smiley face etc

@Katie1109 yeah I've been taking evening primrose for the last 2 weeks and haven't noticed any difference in anything or any side effects. I was taking it the 1st 3 months off TTC and had literally floods of EWCM for 3-5 days but now I hardly get any. I stopped taking it for 2 months and now back on it.

@ellsbells112 yeah it must have done! It's just weird that I have always had a very obvious 2nd line on the OPKs all month when other times it's only started with a 2nd line about 3 days before peak. Glow has pushed my AF date back so saying I will have a 30 day cycle at this rate but my LP is neverrrrr 14 days! Longest I've had is 12 days.

@Beau20 I started primrose this cycle and must admit I am not seeing any changes at the moment. But I don't usually notice much EWCM, so that will be a tell sign for me if it increases x If your af date was pushed and LP will be 14 days that's a good thing I believe, isn't it? my LP is usually 12 days but I had months when it was 11 x

@Beau2020x i see both way tho and was there to support her no matter that it just depends on situation people are going threw it certainly is an easy choice to make so no karma need

@mrslane2019 woohooo! Glad you managed to DTD! It's definitely worth it even if you were feeling rotten. You'd be kicking yourself if you missed that day and then had 2 weeks of what ifs.

@Katie1109 yep same for me! I never used to take it for TTC I just used to take it because it's supposed to be good for PMS symptoms and I can't tell if I am a total bitch or not when my period is due (OH says I am but I swear I'm not and he's just being a nob which makes me cranky).

@Beau20 the only reason I am bitchy when I get af is because I really don't want it to turn up...but it does month after month! Other than that I do not really get psychological PMS symptoms, but boy do I get cranky when it arrives since we started TTC!

Anyone giving SMEP a go this cycle? x I think I'll try to stick to it, OH doesn't have to know just enjoy the sex lol x
So I'm on CD10, DTD on CD 8 so will do tonight and Friday - which will deffo happen as we're out for nice dinner for Valentines and will come back all nice, relaxed and toxicated lol x Then if I get my surge on Sunday we'll try Sun, Mon and Tuesday x Is this how this works? Why is there a day break after 3 days of DTD and then DTD again? Surely there's no point in that because O is well and truly over? x

@ellsbells112 hahaha honestly don't worry about it! I was losing my SHIT with these 2 women, putting words in my mouth etc. All I said was that if it was me, I don't think I'd be posting a photo on FACEBOOK TO EVERY MAN AND HIS DOG a photo of my dead child. Not because I worry about offending people just because I think that it's extremely private. I also said I do not judge anyone who does this, it's just not something I personally would do. WELL, of course that was the worst thing I could ever say and why on earth did I come to mumsnet (which I'm not allowed to be on because I'm not a parent) just to upset people. Not the case you crank. Oh and the OP got called a cu*t because she said photos like this made her sad while she is very anxiously pregnant. Honestly, some people with their heightened sense of self importance just because they've been through worse than you - it annoys me.

PS. What's everyone doing for valentines day? Just ordered myself a sexy little half tight satin dress half lingerie style number to wear on Friday. In the house of course not out HAHA! Although I do see girls wearing stuff like this in public. Going to cook a nice meal to be ready for when OH gets home from the gym, will made myself look all nice, get a bottle of wine in.

@ellsbells112 Exactly! One of them accused me of saying that they should be ashamed and hide this still borns like a filthy secret and only speak to other still born parents. Ridiculous. Putting words in my mouth, just said I didn't think a public domain was the right place to share a death, you wouldn't share photos publicly of your dead grandparent.. I know that sounds insensitive but I'm really not - I have all the sympathy in the world for those parents. It's just not what I'd do.

Ooooh that sounds lovely!! Gah all the choice you get in London! We're vising BIL in London Easter weekend and all I can think of is jesus this is gonna be pricey hahaa. We have things cheap (but limited) up North.

Their point is even invalid because you don't have to put a picture up to talk to people about it that haven't been through it😐 you can talk to who you want picture up or not. Anyway, as I said I really see things like that as very attention seeking, that's just my opinion!

Random question, if you was buying a house with your partner but you was going to put down like a full 100k deposit, would you still split the deeds of the house with them? They'd obviously be paying half the mortgage every month.

@ellsbells112 Would you be taking out a joint mortgage? If so then yes, both of your names would be on the title deeds. If not and it's only your mortgage then no but I THINK you can pay to have them added to the deeds. However if you are married, it wouldn't matter if only one person is on the deeds (I think) because what's your is his as the saying goes. So if you die and it's only registered as your house, then he would inherit it so to speak anyway.

@ellsbells112 this is why I think part of the reason my OH doesn't want to get married, because he doesn't want to share his masses of money with me hahaaha. I have a lot of debt and he has none, so if we get married he would inherit my debt, which I suppose is the whole part of being married blah blah blah. But still, I wouldn't want to marry him until I'm debt free anyway. We have the joint mortgage and that will do for me!

@Beau2020x If you came into a lump sum of money, would you share it with your partner equally? If your partner was well established had their own business etc doing well, a lot better than you. Would you share the lump sum completely with them? For example if you invested with that money, all investments would be shared between you both equally, but he would have his own business separate from you that you don't get a share in that he had prior to you inheriting that money?

@ellsbells112 hmmm, that's a tricky one... In our circumstance (and not saying this is right) if I received a large lump sum, I would pay off all my own debts first and then any left over I would pay off the mortgage. Me and my partner still have very separate finances even after 6 years, we have always earned similar salaries however he saves and I don't. Which is why we keep things separate. I think if were were both good with money, we would have joined our finances a long time ago. We do however share all the household/car/holiday bills etc. My OH has dug me out of a hole in the past and he did put more money down on the house (which he doesn't expect back) but I hope one day I can repay him.

However, IF we had both had shared finances for a while, and even if he was much better off than me BUT had always shared that, then if I came into a large lump sum I would also share it, only because he had shared/supported me financially prior to receiving the money. If that makes sense? I thing there is no right and wrong and it totally depends on your situation.

@Ellsbells112 made myself seem well irresponsible there haha!! I am much better with money, and do save now since we bought the house, just not a lot or as much as OH!

@Beau2020x I'm not married either and my partner talks about the debt side of things except I'm debt free and he's in debt 😂😂
