@Ellsbells112 to summarise if he's never shared then I would look after myself first. Maybe share some or give some benefit? As of course you are partners and it's not tit for tat. But if you NEED that money for something, way more than him. Use it for yourself first

If he has always shared, then I would also share.

@Ellsbells112 maybe invest the money for yourself and share any profit you make? Or offer to pay off some of his higher interest debts and ask for him to pay you back interest free? Therefore you don't loose any money and he saves some on interest he would have paid? This is what my OH did with me. In all fairness I didn't deserve him to pay it off and I never pay him back at all!

@Ellsbells112 just had another thought about the money, why don't you visit a financial advisor? 100k is a lot of money and they will come up with some great ideas on investments. If it was me, I would buy a property and rent it out, granted you can't get much anywhere for 100k BUT if you got a low interest rate buy to let mortgage you could make a killer on rent.

@Beau2020x yes I see what you're saying! I dunno its difficult, I can't really explain properly either which doesn't help haha

@Beau2020x thanks girl, he already invests in properties so that's exactly what we would be doing since you need money for deposit then get a type of loan that allows for you to buy without paying the full amount then and there etc. It's a lot to explain but yeah he does it already so I know exactly what to do when I want to invest and I definitely want to share with him! But I think I'm pissed because I was so open to like giving him everything like literally laying it on the table but I think that was quite naive actually. I'll defo do some bits with him but I need to make sure myself and my son are okay first, then its all gravy.

@ellsbells112 yeah you've got it 100% right though. I know it sounds harsh and uncommitted but when you aren't married, you selfishly need to look after yourself first and share the other parts - there's absolutely no shame in that what so ever!

so i order a sperm test kit a while ago off line and it finally come today my OH has gone into melt down what if my swimmer are not swimmer it game over 😳didn’t except that i thought he be all high and mighty like men our part of me think welcome to my world every month think is everything work correctly 🙈it fw so don’t wether to wait as we need all help we can get

@Mrslane2019 haha my OH told the doctor not to give the sperm results to me without him there, I mean fair play but we will be ringing up together anyway so it was a fruitless effort. Im actually more scared he's got super sperm then I definitely know there's an issue with my tubes!

@Ellsbells112 honestly you're not missing much 😂😂 although pretty lucky we're 30 mins from the Lake District. Yeah lived around the same town my whole life! Can't see myself moving anywhere else although we have decided we will move abroad in a few years (if possible still after Brexit) probably Portugal.

Well hallefuckinlulea! I have my peak!! Cheeky little buggar went from low to peak in 10 hours! This morning vs tonight is so different.

@Beau20 wooo that OPK is blazing, I still feel like I have sooo long to wait, although fertile week starts at the weekend, so might plan something for valentines... Normally we don't really do valentines.

Hey ladies! Just catching up. Been busy busy with trying to sort out the big move. I'm shitting it as I've lived in london for 10 years and now moving to midlands where I know no one other than OH family. I'll still be commuting to London a few days a week for work but will be a big change.

@ellsbells112 @Beau2020x the whole mortgage deed is an interesting one because me and OH are married but he is putting in a large deposit but we will both be on the deed. I have no debt but he earns twice as much as me so always has more money and he has more assets. It has worried me in the past because I like to be independent and have my own cash and savings and not let him pay for everything but I would never have been able to buy a house on my own without his help.

@Beau2020x those mumsnet pricks sounds fucking awful mate. I agree with you, and everyone is entitled to their opinion without being personal and nasty.

I'm on CD7 and will start OPKs at the weekend. Looks like ov day could be moving house day (22nd Feb) if I go by previous months. Spending Valentines by going out for a nice meal and having some drinks. Be nice to actually have a date night and it not be FW so not worrying about that side of things. We havent DTD for 2 weeks!! Think we have been too stressed and busy and AF came.

6DPO today for me, nothing exciting going on, trying not to get my hopes up. I found out so early with DS so trying not to compare, I've told myself if I get implantation bleeding again then I'll test otherwise I'm going to try to wait 😬😫

Well OH is truly having my life during FW at the moment. Last month he was sleeping all the fecking time and last night he had injured his leg at the gym. I was like listen babes you just lie there I'll be gentle tonight is THE night you know?. It was a no 😡 he said we are covered we did it the night before and can go tonight. Lord give me strength. And a baby please 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

Just did an opk and my LH is going up, it's in the low end of high now which normally happens about 18-24 hours before my peak. I also had a month when I had low LH in the morning and peak in the evening, so will test more than twice today just in case x I hope peak is tomorrow the earliest not today because CD11 is way to early for peak, would my little eggs even have time to develop? Also no EWCM at all atm x

@Beau20 well.. you know what my cycles are like!! Earliest I'd say 21st (CD33) but could be later than that. Ovia says I can test in 6 days 😬 I'm feeling strangely optimistic this month but.... argh.. I duno 😩 we shall see!

How frustrating about your OH! 🙄 hopefully (for his sake!!) he's right and you have still caught it 🤞🏻 xxx
