First month of ttc

Hey girls... thought I'd make a new post I'm struggling to find new ones 😂 I'm 28 nearly 29 and my other half is also the same age! I'm currently on my period and this is the month we have decided to start trying! I'm so excited but also do not want to get my Hope's up as I know it can be a very long journey to get that BFP! Anyone else trying this month? I'm looking to get ovulation sticks to increase my chances xxx

I'm tempted to test this weekend too, even though I should just really wait for bloods next Thursday but seems like forever away 😭

I havent caved in! I dont want to ruin my whole week with disappointment 🤣 I'm litterally just buying the one test for Saturday I cant bare to look at loads of negatives 😫 xxxx

I still have zero symptoms, and dreamt last night that AF came?! But she didn't, and would be quite early.

On a side note... does anyone else have the mother in law from hell or just me??

@primrose2020 my mother in law is wonderful actually! I got lucky! Why is yours so bad?!

@Elley2912 Youre so lucky!! I can't even describe how awful she is. She just makes me feel uncomfortable, doesn't include me in things etc I think it's because Husband is an only child and I've stolen him 😂 Even at the wedding she hugged him and pulled away from me in front of everyone. And has since told me she didn't enjoy the day!

Maybe she'll get better when we have kids but at the minute she's a pain!!

Btw I have ordered some tests! They come Friday so I'm still on the Saturday testing team

@primrose2020 that's so horrible. It could be the only child thing! I have a friend who had a similar experience! She even kept coming to their house for a while after they got married to collect his clothes to wash them for him etc. Nightmare!

How long have you been married? Sorry if you've already said elsewhere!

@Elley2912 We got married in summer last year, so not long ago. But have lived together a good few years before hand so she's had enough time to adjust to it! I've said to him tonight if one more thing happens where she intentionally leaves me out etc then he needs to address it with her. He wouldn't dare 😂 But I made my feelings clear at least!

Hello lovelies! Line eyes needed please. I’m 10dpo and think I can see a v faint something. The second photo shows it next to yday’s which was 100% bfn. I think I’m going crazy here xx

@rachelrainbow I think I see something but it's so so faint. You know what I am going to say ☺️ Give it 2-3 days and retest again.

Tested again today at 13dpo, AF due tomorrow - BFN (crystal clear BFN) and this time I feel like AF is actually coming. Ah well.

To be honest I’m making no progress at all 😂 since having my coil out over a week ago, I’ve just been bleeding heavily 🤦🏼‍♀️

Can't wait for AF to show up now so can start trying again. Cramps central at the moment.

@Ughmaybenot hopefully things will normalise soon for you. Getting back to normal rhythm after contraception is a pest.

I just bought a basal temperature thermometer.. I am in two minds. Was telling myself that I will not obsess next cycle and not even use OPKs as next fertile window will presumably fall on annual leave when we will be in Italy. Was hoping to just relax and go for it without stressors and distractions like work. And I am not doing OPKs on holidays 😜
But then basal temp.. ehhh

It’s my first month this coming month (when does the month start...when my period arrives?!). Have started taking pregnacare for conception and feel quite nervous.

I caved and tested on a cheapie..8/9dpo bfn which I obviously knew would happen..
I just couldn't help myself.. feeling abit silly but not out till af shows.

@pineapple2 ahhh yea defo to early to test! I havent caved in because I'm convinced it will be a waste of money as I don't think i am 🤣 il still test with everyone Saturday but I'm 99% sure it's not going to be my month! Fingers crossed for everyone! Xxx

Probably naff but it's cured my urge to test lol

@pineapple2i know if I brought any I would end up doing them all on the same day then become obsessed 🤣 I dont think I'm even going to be disappointed Saturday I just know it's going to be negative :( dint know how people manage trying so long only one cycle and I've had enough lol xxz

This is my 3rd month trying. I'm two days late according to my calenda. I don't want to test. I've done a few quizes and they all say unlikely as I have No symptoms other than a few cramps! Loosing will to keep trying 😒

So even though I've been going on that I wouldn't test... I caved in!!!! 😂 got a BFN on the first response had a feeling the whole cycle that it wouldn't happen this month:( looks like il be trying again next month 😫😫😫😫 xxx
