Hey girls... thought I'd make a new post I'm struggling to find new ones 😂 I'm 28 nearly 29 and my other half is also the same age! I'm currently on my period and this is the month we have decided to start trying! I'm so excited but also do not want to get my Hope's up as I know it can be a very long journey to get that BFP! Anyone else trying this month? I'm looking to get ovulation sticks to increase my chances xxx

I have done another test after resisting all day..been out shopping for a new shark hoover (amazing by the way) hoovering has never been this fun 😂

And it was.....another bfn..

I've been using the cheapy tests..a pound from b and m lol..only because we have been trying for so long.. but if af does not come next week I will get a FRER..

@abby25 I just want mine to come too so I can prepare for next cycle..
And I'm going to try and DTD every 2 days next
Time throughout my cycle so will have all angles covered lol
Thought preseed was going to be my little miracle...

Hi everyone,

I've been reading through this thread and it's making me excited to start TTC.

Had my contraceptive implant taken out on Wednesday and had AF almost straight away. Calculator says that I should be at peak ovulation the first week of March, but I have got some OPKs to try out too. Can't wait for my first cycle - although I would have to be incredibly lucky to conceive on the first go and I am fully prepared for disappointment...

@pineapple2 period due in 4 days got a feeling its coming:( I know shouldnt go off cervix but its rock solid and low :( xx

Soooo I went to doctors (out of hours appointments) to check for uti and nothing not pregnant either. Advised to check again in 3 days time if no bleed -. - sigh

I feel like I’m not taking this half seriously enough compared to you guys Grin I have literally had my coil out and that’s it... don’t think I’d know where to start with all this talk of temperatures etc! Hoping it pans out fine, but I might be back in a few months to actually figure this stuff out 😂

I'm now obsessive. Just watched What to Expect when you're expecting and that's sent me over the edge! If AF shows up, next cycle I'm going to try my best to be chill, no OPK and just DTD every other night. Might not even use any apps. The obsession is real and it's too much!

There's still time for some more BFPs in this thread before we go onto the March bus xxx

@pineapple2 I just stick my leg up on the toilet seat and have a poke around in there see if it's easy to reach or not 🤣 I'm due by the 28th and I just want it to hurry now 😫 had enough Haha havent got cramping today... yesterday felt like period was coming at 11dpo but I never got any bleeding plus I'm never that early! I'm 12dpo today zxx

So after saying this month was the first time we 'tried' but definitely didn't obsess over it and didn't use OPKs etc.. woke up this morning and got a BFP!! Im convinced being less stressed/worried about it happening really helped! good luck everyone x

Congrats Smile fantastic news..here's to more bfps in the next few months...
All my symptoms have gone now. Af due in 3 days..
Just had a moment of thinking I don't think the cheapies I've been using would have been reliable anyway not until af is late soooo I was thinking of getting a FRER today as apparently they are 99% 3 days before period is due..
And if that's bnf then I will know for certain.
Scared to do it though.
Yes I think I'm going to do the same. Not tracking anything, DTD every other night and hope for the best. Concentrate on other things in my life and stop putting pressure on myself (easier said than done)

@abby25 I had a giggle last night talking to my husband asking him if he would have a ferkle down below sorry TMI 😂 and check whether it's hard like an unripe fruit or soft lol (terminology curtesy of google for checking cervix)
He said "what are you talking about" made me giggle anyway...

@abby25 Thank you!! I am unsure exactly how many DPO I am because I didnt use the ovulation tests this month, however I have a pretty regular cycle of 32 days. My period arrived 24th Dec & 24th Jan so I was expecting AF on 24th Feb which also tied up with my clue app. The thing is, i always have spotting a few days before my period without fail. I also get cramping. But the signs for me were no cramps and no sign of any spotting despite knowing i'd be due on anyday. But i had no other symptoms so to avoid upset/dissapointment I waited until today which is the first day of missed period. But honestly, i didnt worry this month and didnt even think about it - you will get like that after a couple months trying. But i'm so grateful I dont have to wait any longer. Just went out to buy the clear blue with weeks and got 1-2 so i think i'm 14 DPO xx

@pineapple2haha how funny!!!! Its definitely easier for you to feel yourself men wouldn't know what they are feeling for 🤣🤣 @hol54321 I think I'm going to try hat next month! No ovulation sticks no nothing then see what happens! I'm due from now to 4 days time so going to wait till Thursday and see if AF arrives xxx

I'm due AF today. Nothing yet. I'm worried that my cycle is still messed up from coming off my pill. Doesn't feel like anything is happening.

@abby25 I don't want to waste more tests haha but maybe if nothing happens today I'll take one tomorrow. I did a cheapy one yesterday and it was a BFN. I read somewhere that the ovulation tests don't guarantee you actually ovulated though so maybe I didn't.

I am normally the voice of doom and gloom with ‘line-eye’ requests but I can actually see a faint line for sure. How exciting!
