TWW Let's keep put minds preoccupied!

Anyone else in the dreaded TWW? I think I'm around 5/6 dpo...not wanting to look at every symptom in a few days as don't want to get disappointed but i know it'll be so hard!
Wishing this week would hurry, due around 4th Feb. Anyone else around the same time as me?

@burntpinky I’ve been meaning to try those Nuii ice creams, might have to make a little trip to Waitrose tomorrow!!

@RR369 allegedly they are sensitive enough to test up to 6 days early. Going by the packet.

@Sjp17 I'm not tracking anything like that but think thing may work differently with me as it's not a natural cycle.

@burntpinky those ice creams sound lovely. Sadly I can't eat gluten and I'm not meant to eat dairy so I suspect I can't have them.

Just about to get out of bed. Not sure if I can resist the temptation of testing.

I couldn't resist. The result... a little inconclusive with no big bold line. Not sure if I'm just imagining a faint line on it but I know it's too early to be testing really.

Thank you all. I'm not going to count my chickens before they hatch though if you know what I mean.

My FET was last Wednesday so it's still very early.

I got my ds through ICSI on the first attempt and this was my first FET.

We had been trying for a number of years before ICSi though and opted not to use contraception after ds who is nearly 18 months.

@RR369 haha! Oh the early waking! That was me last cycle to take tests every second day from about 8dpo I went mad truly! Not fertility friend but I am tracking bbt in about 4 apps and my cycle in about 6 it's all a bit mad 😂

Urgh, I feel weird today, nervous AF is coming. I have cramps but they’re a bit different to how they’ve felt the last few days, they feel almost heavier and lower down and it’s tender to touch my lower stomach. I also have back ache and a feeling of almost being hungover (had half a glass of wine last night, to save face so am not!). That feeling could be because I’ve not eaten that well the last few days, going to get a huge salad at lunch. Just feel a bit off really!

@SkyBlue20 hope a healthy day makes you feel better and AF stays away 🤞
@Sjp17 😂 what did people do before apps??? My Ava app reads the temperature from my bracelet but I don't find it useful otherwise. FF is enough for me, I find it really accurate. Do you temp manually?

@RR369 yeah it's such a pain to stick the thermometer under my tongue I'm alwayas busting for a wee first thing!

Haha I guess they didn't have tv or as many stressors in life so they probably had sex all the time all the time anyway 😂 probably why they had many children as well

@SkyBlue20 hopefully the off feeling is for good! I've felt a little odd the last couple days but I feel like butterflies in my tummy but I think it's just nerves getting so close to being able to find out and so hopeful that af will not be arriving

@burntpinky of course you can. I will try and keep an eye on it but it doesn't send me notifications so if I don't reply please just tell me on here so I know to check it again. I'm at work so it may take me a little while to respond.

I am STRUGGLING today, ladies - I just want to know WTH is going on. Think I’m going to test tomorrow morning if AF hasn’t arrived - I just feel really off and need to know whether I’m coming down with something, just a bit rundown, AF is being a pest or (hopefully) I’m PG. I feel really dazed and a bit sickly, stomach pains, you name it. Again, probably just lack of sleep and unhealthy eating but now I just need to know. Off to buy a test at lunch.

@SkyBlue20 I know what you mean. I’m struggling today also. No sign of AF yet, even though I’m totally expecting it. Just feeling thoroughly fed up with the emotional rollercoaster. Am keeping my fingers crossed for some good news for you 🤞🏻

@skh197 Same! It’s that expectation/dread every time you go to the loo or have a ‘feeling’ that AF is here. So close and yet so far!! Fingers crossed for you, too 🤞🏼
