TTC after miscarriage - February 2020

Hi to anyone reading 👋🏻

This is a thread for anyone TTC / testing in February, after a miscarriage.

I’ll start off with intros! I’m 37 and my first pregnancy ended in miscarriage at 5 1/2 weeks in December. I TTC straight afterwards, but AF found me, so here I still am on this crazy, frustrating, rollercoaster of a journey!

I joined the January thread after my miscarriage and it’s been amazing to go there and chat to other women who know how you feel.

So for anyone joining this, I’m so so sorry you find yourself here, but you’re in good company ❤️

Really sorry to hear you are having a tough time @StephyRose we will all keep our fingers crossed for you. Try and take it as easy as possible and be kind to yourself.

Have you spoken to GP/anyone about if there is anything wrong, or you've just been unlucky. I think it's something that crosses all of our minds

Quick update ladies had scan I am about 4 weeks 3 days and they saw the tiny sac. Thank you for all ur support will take one day at a time from today and see how its goes. Best of luck to everyone xxxxx

Had my scan this morning, saw a sac and a yolk. Said I'm measuring around 5.5 (impossible as first day of last AF was 5.4 and I have a 31 day cycle) but its not very accurate at this stage for dating (clearly...)

Got to go back for another scan a week tomorrow to see if its progressing and hope that they can see a bit more x

I'm out. AF arrived yesterday. Gutted.

@SweetpeaorMarigold sorry :( my AF is on the way (started spotting today) after I had a faint positive so either a dodgy test or a chemical. Also gutted 😪

Hello all, I’ve miscarried twice, the first one was in end of 2018 and the second was 7 months ago :( so I got pregnant quite quickly but unfortunately lost them both around the same time which is about 8 and half weeks, feels awful, I’m so sorry for all your losses.
I’m 42 and TTC naturally I know I’m crazy to think I can do this naturally! But I’m so scared to take the IVF route :(, Too many meds, just changed doctors I’ve been asked to take 5mg of folic acid, I did take this dose before but had bad side effects, any one experience this ? My previous doctor said not to take 5mg after doing some blood test, he says excessive Folic acid causes autism in children, any thoughts on this ?

Hey everyone hey again @SunnySideUp2020 🥰

Soooo had my blood work back and they have came back positive and high. She said my levels were at 1800... I really don't understand this hcg business can someone explain lol according to my last period I am 6 weeks today but I didn't get my BFP until 9 days late which makes me think I could be a week behind. Can I work it out based on my hcg results of 1800?

@AlviesMam I found this online. Going by your levels it could put you at 5 or 6 weeks which sounds about right!

Have we got another thread for BFP I feel awful asking advice on my news when some of you are TTC ? Don't want to be annoying but probably have more questions along the way as I'm so nervous xxx

@AlviesMam I’m not sure if there’s a new BFP thread. I got my bfp over the weekend but can’t bring myself to to believe it’s going to be ok, so I’m still lurking on this thread and the March thread.
I did head over the pregnancy forum and there’s a thread for November 2020 due dates (which is where I’d be) but I don’t feel I fit in yet 😕
When would you be due? As there’s also an October due dates thread
