Hi to anyone reading 👋🏻

This is a thread for anyone TTC / testing in February, after a miscarriage.

I’ll start off with intros! I’m 37 and my first pregnancy ended in miscarriage at 5 1/2 weeks in December. I TTC straight afterwards, but AF found me, so here I still am on this crazy, frustrating, rollercoaster of a journey!

I joined the January thread after my miscarriage and it’s been amazing to go there and chat to other women who know how you feel.

So for anyone joining this, I’m so so sorry you find yourself here, but you’re in good company ❤️

Hi everyone 👋🏼
Hope I can join.
Been TTC since June 2018.
Fell pg December 2018 and has a mmc February 2019 and been trying ever since.
I'm 7 DPO and I came off mumsnet last summer as it was all driving me insane but really trying to stay positive.
And not to symptom spot cos I've now learnt that every single pg system I've also experience for af haha.

Refusing to test before af is due but don't know if I'll make it!!!
Sending baby dust to you all 💫💫💫💫💫

MrsLBear · 19/02/2020 09:02

Congratulations @BS9790 😁😁😁😁😁

Anny27 · 19/02/2020 09:08

Congratulations @bs9790 amazing!!!!!! Has it sunk in?

@Michette did you test?

@MrsLBear welcome lovely, sorry you are in the same boat x

MrsLBear · 19/02/2020 09:10

Thank you @Anny27 😘
So weird cos I never in a million years thought it would take this long or that this would be my journey.
I definitely find keeping busy helps.
How long have you been TTC?

Anny27 · 19/02/2020 09:16

@MrsLBear since June 2019 - conceived within 4 months in september and then had a MMC in november at 11 weeks. This is now my 2nd cycle trying after miscarriage and I am 2dpo!

Yeah it's crazy you never expect it to happen to you

Michette · 19/02/2020 09:18

@BS9790 🥳🥳 congrats lovely!!!!!!
That’s definitely a positive no need for line eyes
Mine was like this at 15dpo btw last time so very good sign.

I tested this morning and the slighest faintest thing. I never had evap before but maybe that’s one. I tried to take a pic but can’t see so i took it out and took the pic. (Going crazy i know).
DP saw it too before we took it out but we are 50/50 on evap or faint. Also 11dpo is rather late to have such faint so we aren’t sure...

What do you think?
Can you even see it?

BS9790 · 19/02/2020 09:39

@Michette I can see it, and id say that's what mine looked like yesterday!! Honestly I'd convinced myself it was evap/indent line
X

BS9790 · 19/02/2020 09:42

@Anny27 it hasn't sunk in, I think I just darent believe it... And too scared to allow myself to feel excited.

I'm going to test each day until Sunday and then do a digital, this would be day after AF due. DH has bought be a digital from the pharmacy here... So I'll get it confirmed in Spanish 😂😂

Michette · 19/02/2020 10:00

@bs9790 ahhh you are giving me hope. The only thing is by 11dpo on a frer the line should be much better...
We will test on friday morning as tomorrow i have my driving test early 😅

BS9790 · 19/02/2020 10:22

Mine is really faint though at 11dpo and it was barely visible yesterday at 10dpo. The tests I use are the same sensitivity as frer.

You might not of implanted until 9 dpo or even 10!

Leok83 · 19/02/2020 11:51

@BS9790 that’s fantastic! Congratulations!!😁

@Michette I can see a faint line, hopefully you get some line progression!! 🤞

@MrsLBear welcome and also sorry ur here too. xx

ChampooPapi · 19/02/2020 12:26

@Michette I can see it! Oh my god I think you've done it 🙌 tentative congratulations and everything crossed it sticks. Do another test tomorrow and update us all ♥️✨🌈

Anny27 · 19/02/2020 12:34

@Michette I can see it!

I am reluctant to give complete congratulations as I have had a convincing evap like that in the past. I reaaaaaaaaaly hope this is it for you! Retesttomorrow 🤞🤞🤞

Michette · 19/02/2020 12:51

@Leok83 @ChampooPapi @anny27 thanks ladies for confirming am not crazy x
I also worry about evap here but we will see.
Won’t test tomorrow though! I have my driving test...
Will keep you posted ofc :)

Annie0425 · 19/02/2020 13:49

@Michette I can see the line too when i Zoom...11dpo is still too early, so hopefully it will get darker in the next few days🤞
Good luck with your driving test!
And tentative congrats!!

Michette · 19/02/2020 14:19

Honestly the more i look at it the more i think it’s an evap. I have 0 symptoms on top of that. And been looking at the famous frer evaps and it s clear that’s what it is.

Now regretting testing a bit :(

@annie4025 thanks.! Hopefully the driving will be more successful than the ttc 😅

MrsLBear · 19/02/2020 15:47

@michette I can definitely see a line!!!!! Some ppl can implant quite late. I did the first time I was pregnant. I think only 14dpo did I get a noticeable line. Didn't get a sniff of one before that.

@Anny27 the dreaded 2ww. Are you temping?

Kona84 · 19/02/2020 21:42

I just realised that by having my peak ovulation today, i will be due to take a pregnancy test on my partners birthday!! Gotta be BFP right?

Anny27 · 19/02/2020 23:02

@MrsLBear yes I am temping (find it really reassuring to know I have 100% ovulated haha). How about you? I am feeling pretty calm about this months tww......last month I CONVINCED myself I was pregnant so gonna try take it easy this time :p

@Kona84 that would be a lovely birthday present for DP!

@Michette good luck for the driving test!

BS9790 · 20/02/2020 09:47

@Michette good luck for the driving test.
Grin

Michette · 20/02/2020 10:18

@bs9097 thanks!

I pssed :)

But BFN on frer today so guess it was a convincing evap as @Anny27 said ...

Next cycle luckier i hope!

How are you feeling?

Moominmiss · 20/02/2020 10:21

This is an ovulation test from this morning. I’ve literally no clue when I’m due to ovulate as only had my first af post miscarriage earlier this month. I’m currently cd14.
The top pic is the test almost straight away, the bottom is the same test after the max 10 minutes.

I’ve literally never ever tracked ovulation before. Only have some tests because the company I ordered my pregnancy tests from sent the wrong ones and didn’t want me to bother sending them back. Randomly decided to take a test this morning as I was mid cycle (based on my old cycles being 29 days).
Would you say it looks like I’m gearing up to ovulate soon?

Moominmiss · 20/02/2020 10:24

@BS9790 congratulations!!!! That’s such fantastic news and awesome line progression!!!

@Michette congrats on passing your driving test!!!! Sorry that yesterday’s test seems to be an evap, I could see the line. You’re not out until af shows anyway, you might have just implanted late. I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you 🤞🏻

BS9790 · 20/02/2020 10:32

@Michette whoo well done on the driving! Like others have said, you're not out until AF shows. Did you do the frer with fmu?

Ive been awake with stomach pains in the night, hating that every little twinge is sending me into panic mode.
I feel like the excitement of pregnancy has been robbed Sad I'm so on edge. We went out for a meal last night and I nearly started crying in the restaurant because I had a few mild stomach cramps!!!

Tested again at 5.30am and it's darker. But still not overly dark, although I'm not sure how dark the lines go on the tests I use. As only started using them whilst I was checking for negative after MC... They're very sensitive but perhaps the line isn't as clear as frer.

Michette · 20/02/2020 10:54

@bs9790 i totally understand the anxiety but you are still early and a test not being completely dark is normal. The important is line progression and you have it!
You have to be cautious but there is nothing you can do at this stage. I know it’s easier said than done but just try to remember that it is by itself a success, the BFP! And most of them grow out to be healthy babies :)

And yes it was FMU this morning but no line or evap this time!

@Moominmiss
looks like a few days from ovulation! Getting close
