TWW - currently 6dpo!

Hey, I'm currently 6dpo and looking for some friends to pass this next week with as the TWW is a crazy time!! I'm at work tomorrow so that'll distract me but I'd like to test Friday when I'm 8DPO event though it's still very early... anyone similar? Merry Christmas everyone I hope we all get our BFPs!! Xx

I'm 6 dpo too. I got positive ovulation test on 18th and 19th. So I guess I am 6dpo. When did u get positive ovulation test? And what are your symptoms so far?
I don't have any symptoms at all.. barely sore breast but nothing unusual.
I have the worst cough.. been coughing for few days and I don't know if that will affect implantation ...

I'll join the party though I'm a couple of days behind at 4DPO, 2nd cycle trying for our first. On a 2 week break from work so don't have that as a distraction, but trying to be a lot more rational than I was last month! X

I’m also 6dpo. I’m not going to test until I’m definitely late because I have a condition that affects implantation but I’m already imaginary symptom spotting. I had hoped that the Christmas holidays would stop me obsessing but I was wrong.

Hey @sunshinexx95 I got my positive OPK on the 18th so I counted the 20th as 1DPO. I got pregnant in September on the 2nd cycle but miscarried at 5 weeks but really hoping I catch again soon and it sticks!! I'm testing Friday at 8DPO I think I'll use an IC so I'm less disappointed if it's not a BFN as the hcg won't be high enough xx

@botbird84 I'm working tomorrow but agree I've just non stopped googled each DPO and if it's early enough to test and any symptoms so think I've driven myself mad!! When are testing? Xx

@LockThatFridge aww sorry to hear about that condition it must be tough and add to the anxiety of the TWW but I really hope you implant this month 💗 well done for not testing until late xxx

Thanks @AliSxo. I’m lucky that I already have two gorgeous dds so although it’s an unwelcome layer of stress at least I can focus on them to take my mind off it. Sorry to hear about your miscarriage and fingers crossed for Friday. I got a very strong positive with dd2 at 9dpo and I could tell a day or so before so it’s definitely possible to get a positive then. It depends on how early you implant though.

I'm 7DPO and very crampy today! To the point where I twisted sideways in my seat earlier and it really hurt my left ovary region (although maybe turkey induced, maybe not). Will probably test NYE 😊

You already have children that shows your condition regarding implantation doesn't mean it's impossible xxx thanks for your kind message, how did you know you were pregnant so early?

@CooperLooper you're so good not testing until NYE, I'm a POAS addict!! You could have had implantation cramps today if you had twinges!! All the very best for this month xxxx

@AliSxo ha don't praise me just yet, my plan is for NYE but whether that will actually happen... I just get so annoyed by how expensive HPTs like FRERs are etc, it's madness x

@CooperLooper it's crazy I swear I paid for the first response Christmas party this year the amount I spent 😂 they're much cheaper of eBay with free delivery but still expensive xx used IC's last month but got HORRIBLE indent lines on them I could of sworn there were lines but AF showed up! Fingers crossed for us all, I'm 7DPO tomorrow and at work so that should take my mind of it for a few hours!! I need some new hobbies I'm going to keep myself busy, AF due next week for me I think next Weds, how about you? Xx

@AliSxo yeah keep yourself busy and distracted so you don't think about it too much! Ooo I'll have a look on Amazon I didn't think about that.

No idea when AF is due unfortunately 😔 I had my implant out on 5th Oct and have only had a 2-day period since then (4 days after an LH peak), I didn't ovulate at all for November either. But got a really nice strong LH curve and peak for Dec and I've started BBT tracking too, and had a temp spike the day after my LH peak. So hopefully things are happening the way they should this month, on a 28-day estimate AF might be due on NYE or NYDay! X

Can I join in too? I’m currently 3-4dpo. Had my peak last Sunday and AF due on 4th Jan. TTC #1 and this is cycle 5. I usually symptom spot and test like crazy, but this month I’m trying to relax and distract myself.

Hey @Quiffy I'm a POAS addict, I'm 7DPO so it's far to early to test!! Plan was to test tomorrow at 8DPO but may hold off until 9dpo or more if I can! I'm working today so that's a good distraction!! Have you been trying for long? Xx

@AliSxo I actually developed an overactive thyroid after having my two. It unfortunately coincided with ttc. My thyroid levels are now under control but it’s caused by an autoimmune disease. It means my immune system is in overdrive and could potentially attack an embryo and not let it implant. That’s how I understand it anyway! I don’t know if that will happen though so I’m keeping my fingers crossed that now my thyroid levels are back to normal my body will let it happen.
I knew I was pregnant with dd2 because I just felt weird. I remember trying to do some work one evening and the computer screen was making me feel dizzy. I can’t really explain it other than a really fuzzy head. I knew early with dd1 too even though I didn’t test until I was late. I had a really sensitive sense of smell and my boobs got massive. Completely different symptoms both times!
@CooperLooper they sound promising for implantation cramps. I keep looking out for them but anything I have will probably be indigestion after too much Christmas food

@AliSxo I'll probs text new year's Day, that's when AF should be due. I'll try and resist the temptation to do it bwfore, just made me miserable last month! Xx

@LockThatFridge well the only symptoms I've got are a few cramps today, boobs aren't sore yet either, still feel a bit like I've got a cold too which is rubbish!! Xxx

@botbird84 I had the worst indent lines on IC's last month I was convinced there was a line burn it was just weird indent/shadow lines xxx

@Sunshinexx95 that's ok we all do it you're normal hun don't beat yourself up I'm a POAS addict!! Implantation won't have happened this early and it has the hcg needs time to grow, we're halfway through the TWW now, we're on the last run now!! Which test did you use? Xxx

Also @Sunshinexx95 any symptoms, I'm bloated and had a few cramps, need to pee a bit more too but they could be general symptoms of anything so not going to get carried away xxx

Can I join? Im 8dpo and af due new year's day. Im staying at partner's family in the middle of no where so not able to buy a test for a few days but driving myself crazy symptom spotting!

I have no symptoms at all. Only a really bad cough. I don't feel anything unusual. I think I had more symptoms last month and thought I was pregnant. But I wasn't. So honestly I feel nothing this month. And this cough is killing me.

Last month I had really bad "implantation pain on my left side. Backache, sore boobs, cramping all over my stomach. Headaches, And bom af showed up. So funny how the body plays around with our emotions.

Bloated and pee more could be very early pregnancy signs to be honest. I think we need to let go of the though but it is really so hard not to symptoms spot...

I am such a test addict. I'm going away to my parents tomorrow to celebrate new year. So I will be there from 27th night to 1st.. I wish I could surprise them but I don't think it is my month... :(

Hey @MissLLM I'm 7DPO and due around New Year's Day too!! I think it's a good thing if you can't test, it would drive me wild but BFN's aren't good for the soul no matter how early we all test!! I track all my symptoms in my Flo app so I can compare to the previous cycles and my boobs aren't sore yet but I'm sure they will over the next few days as it's an AF symptom too for me xx

Hey @Sunshinexx95 maybe it's a good sign you've not had any of the symptoms you had last month as AF arrived so fingers crossed your body is implanting hence why your AF symptoms aren't there xxx are you testing whilst you're away? I think my AF is due on the 31st so technically a FRER could start detecting for me in the next few days but we'll see xxx tempted to test tonight with an IC but I know I'll be disappointed if it's bfn xx

I agree with @alisxo, @Sunshinexx95 no symptoms could be good! I usually convince myself I’m pregnant because my af signs are similar to the textbook ‘early’ signs.
