botbird84 · 27/12/2019 18:34

@AliSxo yeah it did that with me too which is why I'm not trusting it! Try and hold out for another day or two if you can (I know, easier said than done! 😂) X

AliSxo · 27/12/2019 19:02

I really want to try and hold out even if it's just until Sunday but don't think I'll have the willpower x

botbird84 · 27/12/2019 19:05

@AliSxo Maybe find some dodgy TV or something to distract you until then?!

AliSxo · 27/12/2019 19:08

@botbird84 good idea... it'll do me good not to test tomorrow xxx I'm at a baby shower on Sunday so don't really want to test in the morning as a bfn and baby shower all in one day won't be fun xx

OP posts:
botbird84 · 27/12/2019 19:13

@AliSxo yeah that defo won't help, coupled with that one person at baby showers who asks "so when is it your turn?" - or is that just me?! Confused

SunnyFlover · 27/12/2019 19:17

I have both Flo and Femometer apps, both have different ovulation predictions, but I noticed that Femometer works better. Plus you can use the app for motion ring and calculating your OPK test results.

Sunshinexx95 · 27/12/2019 19:20

I just couldn't hold it and tested now... bfn... I don't think this is my month. I feel so sad.. my sister tested at 7dpo few weeks ago and she got positive test. I feel like I will never see 2 lines ever.
I'm so sorry I know I am so negative but I am sick and tired of trying and of tracking stupid ovulation. Some people get pregnant like that and I have to record my stupid ovulation and it is still not good enough. It is so unfair. I am going on holiday to my parents tonight. And they have been waiting for me to get pregnant. Now my sister is pregnant with her second baby and I feel so stupid that I can't even manage to get one stupid positive pregnancy test. I locked myself in t e toilet and started crying. I'm sorry ... I know I'm stupid ... but I wished this would be my month...

AliSxo · 27/12/2019 19:30

Aww @Sunshinexx95 you're counting yourself out at 7DPO, maybe crying and being emotional is a sign you're pregnant? I read today most people implant at 9DPO so please don't be disheartened by it all, I know it's horrible when everyone else is fucking pregnant I'm avoiding lots of people as I don't want to hear about "how they weren't even trying!" Your parents will not be disappointed that you're not pregnant they'll support you and it takes a lot longer than everyone thinks. Keep wishing for your BFP and you'll get it, don't count yourself out at 7DPO babe xxxxxxxx

@botbird84 o yes my one friend who's going is Mrs fertile pants and only had sex twice in her first cycle and got pregnant, the girl who's baby shower it is hadn't been trying long but her first child took around 8 months so we're all different xx sometimes when people blab about their fertility I wonder if they're making it up to put a brave face on how hard they tried, like it's a stigma, it's horrible as none of us have any control over it xx

OP posts:
Sunshinexx95 · 27/12/2019 19:35

@AliSxo yes I know ;( they don't even try and they get pregnant. I am avoiding so many too. But at work I have 2 colleagues who are pregnant and one of them is pregnant with twins and naturally. So happy for them and wish them safe pregnancies. But I feel so lonely. But still glad I have someone to talk to. Otherwise I would explode. My husband is tired of my crying.

My parents feel very sad when they see me so sad: my mum told me to stop worrying because someday it will happen.
I am 8 dpo today.. :( tomorrow 9dpo. So I do t know if I should test. My sister told me to test on minimum 10 dpo..

SunnyFlover · 27/12/2019 19:38

@Sunshinexx95 totally understand how you feel. Pressure from others adds to pressure on ourselves... Have you tried taking fertility vitamins? By "you" I mean you as well as your other half. Helps for your both to be more fertile. Try to reduce stress and not too think about this too much, take a break from all the forums, all the articles. The only thing that I would advise you to do - enjoy sex every other day during the time when you roughy should ovulate. No OPK's, no apps... trust your body and enjoy the ride. TMI, but sleep with the "deposit" overnight if possible. It helped me ( I tested positive 3 cycles out of 3, just unfortunately I have an issue with securing the pregnancy, short luteal phase - af always arrives ). Stress is the killer and you are stressing yourself with this process tracking.

AliSxo · 27/12/2019 20:39

@Sunshinexx95 I agree with your sister, wait a few more days as 7DPO is so so early so don't lose hope xx have a lovely evening and done feel lonely we're all here xx

@AliSxo how interesting, I’m 7dpo today, felt crampy the last two days and feeling nauseous this morning, who knows why! Technically I shouldn’t implant till tomorrow or or the day after! I’m going to test next year, as much as I’d love to finish the year with a bfp I’d hate to finish it with a bfn!
Come on bfp S all round in the next week 🤞🏼🤞🏼

Sjp17 · 27/12/2019 21:48

@Sunshinexx95 aw that’s hard to read! Don’t count yourself out yet! It’s so early still! Be calm and think positive! This could very well be your month!! 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼
I hear you with the avoiding one of my close girlfriends had a baby a couple months back and she is so damn insensitive about how that child was conceived it’s so hard to listen to and myself and another of my close girls friends are both trying you’d think she’d have a brain and be kinder to us!

Sjp17 · 27/12/2019 22:12

I just went back as I can’t remember how I felt with my son, I don’t know when I ovulated that month as I never got positive on the opk, when I tested and got a positive I was either 9 dpo or 14dpo and my line was really faint and got darker over the coming days.
All this overanalysing is driving me nuts!

AliSxo · 27/12/2019 23:15

Anyone testing tomorrow let us know how you get on 💕 x

LockThatFridge · 27/12/2019 23:31

@Sunshinexx95 it’s far too early to count yourself out. I would doubt many people would get a positive so early as the average day for implantation is later. It’s very possible that your sister ovulated earlier than she thought. You’re still in until AF shows.

Crazymummyto3 · 28/12/2019 00:17

@AliSxo I'm not really sure when to test? I'm currently cd27. My previous cycles since stopping the pill have been 27, 28, 33 and 33 days. I don't know whether to assume my cycle length is now 33 days as that's what my previous two cycles have been? Either way, I know that I won't have the willpower to wait that long to test 🙈 When are you planning on testing?

Sjp17 · 28/12/2019 01:55

Looking forward to hearing those who test, based on my last pregnancy and the wierd opks I got this month, I’m going to wait same till 4th jan which will be either 14 or 9 dpo (had 3 positive opks this month) 20/21 & 26th dec. the cycle we conceived my son I also don’t know when I ovulated but got bfp the same 14 or 9 dpo on a guess. Going to be so hard to wait 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

Crazymummyto3 · 28/12/2019 06:34

I've caved already 🙈 but got a very faint pink line! It's definitely there, definitely pink and came up straight away. I don't trust it though as I've had faint lines on IC tests before which haven't been BFPs so I promised myself I wouldn't use them again, but this one is stronger than any of the other ones. I'm on cd27 and my cycles have varied between 27 and 33 days. This month I got positive OPKs on 19th December but it stayed positive for 3 days, so I don't even know if I would be far enough along to get a BFP yet anyway??

I've got a couple of FRER in the cupboard but don't really want to use those until I think it's a real line / closer to AF. Arrrgh, why do I do this to myself every month??!!

@Crazymummyto3 omg!! You make me so tempted even after I just said I’m going to wait a whole another week... arghhhh!! We’re the same I’m CD27/33 assuming 33 as my last was 33 and adding 2 weeks from ovulation being 21 dec (pos opk 20/21 &26 dec ?!!)
When are you going to try a free?!?!
Have you had any symptoms!

Sunshinexx95 · 28/12/2019 08:30
