@AliSxo @sunshinexx95 thank you ladies, still early, I will breath much easier when I get past my af time without it showing up. If all good- exciting times start!

@carrotgirl87 OMG... 10 years 😖 but you may have your Christmas miracle now as I see both faint lines on your tests! Congratulations!

Crazymummyto3 · 27/12/2019 07:05

Congratulations @SunnyFlover , lovely news ☺️

I try to stay off these posts as much as I can until a few days into my tww, otherwise I would drive myself crazy!! I think I'm currently 8dpo, but I had positive opk for 3 days and my cycles have varied from 27 to 33 days to not entirely sure 🤷‍♀️ I have loads of IC tests and the temptation to do one is immense, but I'm trying so hard not to give in until New Year's Eve at least 😬

I've felt nauseous on and of the past couple of days, but not sure if I'm reading too much into it as I work with children and there are all sorts of bugs going around at the moment. On Christmas Day I put my son's new VR headset on and had to take it off after a couple of minutes as it was making me feel so queasy, but I bet that's not uncommon! TMI but I've also noticed that around my nipples has gone darker and that happened with my previous pregnancies early on, but I'm trying not to read too much into it!

This is our first month of properly ttc and I've already convinced myself that it hasn't happened this month, but I suppose part of that is to try and stop me feeling too down if it hasn't happened. Arrrgh, I hate all of this symptom spotting!!

CooperLooper · 27/12/2019 08:40

I'm out I'm afraid, AF had got me really early. Good luck everyone else, I hope I won't be seeing you on next months board :) x

LockThatFridge · 27/12/2019 08:57

Congratulations @SunnyFlover. That’s wonderful news. And wow @Carrotgirl87 that’s amazing. There’s definitely a line so fingers crossed for a sticky one.
Sorry about af turning up @CooperLooper. Hopefully next month will be your month.
I’m 8dpo today and no symptoms whatsoever. I’m exhausted but I think that’s just a result of hectic days dashing around after family. I need to stop squeezing my boobs in the hope that they feel sore. Someone’s going to notice soon Xmas Grin

Sjp17 · 27/12/2019 10:29

Hi! Can I join! I had positive clear blue digital opk 20/21st so 6 dpo, had an increase in CM again yesterday so I did opk again and it was positive again... wtaf! Took a frer and it was bfn.
My af is due 4th jan, I’m on CD 26/33.
Crampy today and yesterday and going absolutely bananas.
Also this is our 2nd month TTC baby #2.
🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼 For us all!

Carrotgirl87 · 27/12/2019 10:31

Thank you all, I'm so sceptical since it's most likely too early and the reviews on these tests are abysmal! Will get a frer tonight and see what that says..

Good luck to all of you, I hope you all get the news you have been waiting for xx

Crazymummyto3 · 27/12/2019 10:33

Sorry to hear that @CooperLooper. Fingers crossed for next month for you.

Welcome @Sjp17, I'm on day 26 of a 33 day cycle too

Sjp17 · 27/12/2019 10:41

@Crazymummyto3 cycle buddies! When are you going to test? I’m going to try my darndest to wait until af due day

Sunshinexx95 · 27/12/2019 10:53

@Sjp17
Hii! My af is due on the 4th of Jan
I want to test on Sunday if I can hold
I tested yesterday at 7dpo and guess what bfn
I have had no symptoms.
Today I am a bit unusually hungry and I have a weird breast feeling. I have slight cramps but I might imagine stuff because last month I imagined so much and I was not pregnant. Anyways I think I'm 8dpo today and on Sunday I will be 10dpo.

@AliSxo how r u feeling today? Any unusual symptoms?

LockThatFridge · 27/12/2019 11:15

@Sjp17 and @Sunshinexx95 my AF is also due on the 4th. I will be away then so will either test on the 2nd before I go or the 6th when I get back. If I don’t feel any symptoms then I’m going to wait until the 6th. I’m usually pretty regular so hopefully it won’t be a test wasted if I’m late.

Crazymummyto3 · 27/12/2019 11:37

@Sjp17 I'm going to try and hold of until new year at least if I can, although I have a few ICs so it's soooo hard not to be tempted 😬 I have a couple of FRERs so I won't use them until the day AF is due if it hasn't arrived

AliSxo · 27/12/2019 12:01

Hey everyone!! Hope everyone's well!! No sore boobs for me at 8DPO which is odd, bfn for me this morning but that's ok it's still early, I read this article which was great, basically the earliest implant is around 9DPO, my AF is due on NYE as I have 27 days cycles but don't ovulate until Cd15 which only gives me a 12dpo max xx

Come out for some lunch with boyfriend to take my mind of things, going to tidy up the house and really just try and distract myself today xx

@AliSxo , it is very individual, I have tested positive 7DPO, which means my implantation happened at 6DPO. Every body is very different and therefore the days can vary drastically. Some ladies wait for much longer to have the positive test as HCG take its sweet time to build. My friend only tested positive 2 weeks past her AF date... not sure how that happened, but apparently it did. Good luck!

TWW - currently 6dpo!
AliSxo · 27/12/2019 12:44

Hey @SunnyFlover yes you must have implanted really early, I bet you were so shocked to get your BFP so early. I think the rest of us are waited for our BFP so the article gives us all hope that the most common day for implantation appears to be 9DPO so a bfn at 8DPO isn't anything to be upset about. X

AsSurprisedAsYouAre · 27/12/2019 14:03

Absolutely caved and POAS at work today. wasn't FMU and was BFN at 7DPO. I don't honestly know what I expected. I am scaring myself because I had extremely tender breasts (which is really unusual for me) until this morning when suddenly they're feeling much more normal, and the heavy feeling in my uterus had gone too. I feel incredibly nauseated but that could just be a cold.. I keep thinking everything suddenly disappearing must mean something bad. I also have virtually no cm, which I keep reading is a bad sign? I know I just need to wait. But it's so hard!
@LockThatFridge you made me laugh, I've been squeezing my boobs today hoping for the tenderness to have returned, too! What must we look like?! Sending love @CooperLooper, and @AliSxo that's really helpful to know that statistically I haven't even implanted yet, so wouldn't see my BFP for many days, even if there is one!

xxx

AliSxo · 27/12/2019 14:12

Hey @AsSurprisedAsYouAre this gave me some positivity when I read it xx

@LockThatFridge @AsSurprisedAsYouAre the other month at work I was in the corridor jiggling my boobs around thinking they're probably watching this on the cameras thinking what is she doing 😂 xx

OP posts:
Sunshinexx95 · 27/12/2019 14:54

@AliSxo
Don't worry it is still too early. I was tempted to test this morning but I didn't. I will test either tomorrow or Sunday. I have no symptoms. My boobs r a bit sore but that is typical af symptoms. I don't think this month is my month to be honest. I feel like usual.. I will test on Sunday ...

AliSxo · 27/12/2019 15:04

@Sunshinexx95 you're not out yet so don't be disheartened, well done not testing today you're doing really well!! Let me know when you test, we're only 8DPO so maybe implantation is happening now for both of us!! Fingers crossed xx

OP posts:
AsSurprisedAsYouAre · 27/12/2019 16:05

@aliSxo that is comforting, thank you. I'm trying to wait until FMU 9DPO to test again, and will remember that even then a negative doesn't need to discourage me.

I'll be testing on Sunday too @Sunshinexx95, fx for us both xx

AliSxo · 27/12/2019 16:40

I really hope we all get our BFP's - last cycle I was recording I had different CM to what I've had yesterday and today so I just hope it's my month xx

@AliSxo thanks for sharing that Ava article, really useful to read and helps to keep you a bit more rational when thinking about testing and stuff. I bought a cheap desk calendar and have marked dates on that (DPO, poss. implantation, etc) so I have a more visual reference. Working so far! :)

AliSxo · 27/12/2019 17:16

Hey @botbird84 I'm so glad we've all found it useful I read it last night in bed and it made me feel really positive so I thought id share... I use an app on my phone called Flo to track everything I'd recommend it xx

OP posts:
botbird84 · 27/12/2019 17:25

@AliSxo I use Flo for tracking AF but found it was off for ovulation. I was using Premium for tracking OPKs but it wasn't massively useful as the photo quality was so different to the OPK sticks. Last month I was ridiculous and so irrational, taking tests before implantation could even have occurred!

AliSxo · 27/12/2019 18:24

Hey @botbird84 yeah my Flo app tends to be off for ovulation and when I correct it it throws off my AF date. It's good for symptom tracking though xx I'm 9DPO tomorrow not sure if I should test
In the morning or now xz
