TWW - currently 6dpo!

Hey, I'm currently 6dpo and looking for some friends to pass this next week with as the TWW is a crazy time!! I'm at work tomorrow so that'll distract me but I'd like to test Friday when I'm 8DPO event though it's still very early... anyone similar? Merry Christmas everyone I hope we all get our BFPs!! Xx

@Sunshinexx95 I can see a very faint line too, wait a couple of days then try again to see if if is stronger.

@Sjp17 I'll try again tomorrow and see if the line is getting stronger, then I'll try and hold off until New Year's Eve to do a FRER. I've been feeling a bit nauseous but there are lots of bugs going round so I put it down to that. I tried my son's VR headset and it made me feel really queasy, but I assume that can happen to people anyway! My boobs feel a bit heavier and look a bit darker but other than that I don't feel any different. When are you going to test?

@Crazymummyto3 congratulations! That looks like a line too @Sunshinexx95. I hope it gets darker for you.
Still no symptoms today but mild cramping and my c section scar feels a bit sore. It does on and off though so I’m not reading too much into it.

Hi all, thread lurker here, solidarity with all those trying and hoping at the moment.

After reading your posts I tested out of curiosity - and got a surprise, very strong bfp. But, I had positive ovulation tests just 6 days ago. Is this even possible? I hadn't thought so. I've been googling a bit and threads keep mentioning molar pregnancies if you're hcg is too high too early which has got me really worried. Does anyone have any experience of this? I'm sorry for the hijack, I don't know anywhere else to ask!

@serraserra36 when was your last af and how long are your cycles usually? I’m just wondering if you ovulated before you realised and the ovulation tests were actually picking up pregnancy hormones. I think that can happen.

That's interesting thanks LockThatFridge. I have very irregular periods and long cycles so unpredictable. My positive ovulation test was on day 40! But now I'm wondering if it was detecting a pregnancy - I'd love that to be the answer.

Only on cycle day 21-22 took a test bfn!
Just don't feel any different this month exempt from having sore nipples day after ovulation

@AsSurprisedAsYouAre I think FRERs are supposed to be the most sensitive but it will really depend on whether or not you’ve actually implanted when you take the test. You may still have 3-4 days before that actually happens in which case it won’t matter which test you take. A FRER should detect soon after implantation though.

@sunshinexx95 @Crazymummyto3 I can see faint lines on both of yours, I don't see anything on mine this morning not even going to post a photo. 9DPO for me but not out til AF arrives xx you both need a FRER in a few days xxx

Hello can I join? I’m around 8dpo and for the last 3 months iv started spotting at 5dpo and nothing so far!! Trying so hard not to get my hopes up as we’ve been trying 8 months now and I just can’t see it happening.

@AliSxo It's still very early, and you're not out unless AF makes an appearance 🤞

It's just occured to me I might have an issue with a short luteal phase. I ovulated on CD14 but I'm only on a 24 day cycle. AF is due in 4 days but I'm only 7DPO, I can do a FRER but aware implantation might not have even occured yet! Anyone else have the same issue?

@botbird84 yes I'm the same I have a 27 day cycle but don't ovulate til day 15 so most I can get to is 12dpo xx

These are my test from the last 2 days, quality isn't great on them they're all scratched... at a squint theres maybe something on the bottom one but I had this last cycle so not going to let that get my hopes up xx

Remember some names from previous month bus! I tend to stay away from here when AF arrives as just feel so miserable. In the middle of 2WW so have ventured back online.

Had a positive OPK on 20th Dec and AF due on Mon 05 Jan. I already feel like I'm out at 7dpo as I'm having hot flushes which I always get a week or so prior to AF. Next thing is then feeling irritable as pms sets in, am expecting that in a few days time.

Can sympathise with so many of you here with being fed up and feeling like never going to happen, even this early in the cycle. You just kinda know your body don't you!

@AliSxo you’re not out yet. Most tests don’t even recommend testing until you’re late.

Thanks @LockThatFridge I'm just fed up with it all now, I'm tempted not to test tomorrow at 10dpo and wait until 11DPO which for me is Monday but AF is due Tuesday so actually I could just wait if I had the patience.... which I don't think I do!! Xx

Hey @HugeAgeGap hope you're well. I'm the same I come off these threads until I'm a few days past ovulation, I had some cramps last night which I thought might be implantation but could also be a sign that AF is on her way xx
