Anyone looking to start TTC in New Year?

Join here please! I’m still taking my pill at the moment but current packet runs out on 7th Jan so planning to start then but not really track anything officially. I’ve been reading up about conception vitamins and going to buy some this week to start taking after new year- does anyone have recommendations for particular brands?
Will be my first but partners 2nd, very nervous but excited at the same time. No idea what to expect but hoping to have some ladies in the same situation to chat to!

So bloods came back.......

Levels are 16ml HCG so they’ve said it’s very early stages. Plan to take a clear blue digital tomorrow in the hope it’s after the 48hour doubling mark!

I feel so sick today 🤢 nipples are crazy sore! Also had some funny discharge earlier which is very odd. All of it is adding up to either being pregnant or AF arriving. My first response tests should arrive from amazon today so I think I’ll do one of those Sunday just to give it a little longer- plus DP will be around (he’ll be asleep in the morning after night shift and I’d rather he is awake!)

How is everyone else doing?

@FootballAndBeer145 I think you need a blood test to try and figure out what’s occurring!

I'm still waiting for literally anything. No withdrawal, no period, no positive OPK, no bfp. Very bored of just waiting 🤨

@yoomoo I feel so sick today too. A few tummy twinges, but the backache seems to have gone again. I didn't get any nausea when pregnant first time, but then who knows. I'm the same, basically feel as though I could either be pregnant or have AF arriving. Why are the symptoms for both so similar?!
If I continue feeling this ill over the weekend I'm not sure how I'll manage to wait till tuesday

Hey everyone, congratulations to those who are getting there positive test, I'm on cycle 11 after mmc in Dec, I thought this cycle could be the one but feel like Af is coming :( anyone been trying a while and have some advice?

Hey not bad here! 11 dpo. I did try a cheapie one tonight and the more I stared at it, the more I convinced myself I could see something faint. But I've taken a photo and now feel silly, maybe an evap line or something ! I will test tomorrow with FRER with FMU though - just to see! 😬 unless I chicken out.

@Spark27 @yoomoo Basically feel the same as you! I've been getting headaches too which is unusual for me. But could be because AF is soon also!

@lucymagoo it’s the waiting isn’t it! So frustrating, I’m wishing I came off the pill a lot sooner now and got the hormones out of my body!

How are you doing @switcharoo have you got any symptoms yet?

@Spark27 sorry to hear you are feeling sick too. I’m finding the nausea comes in waves but that I feel sick as a dog unless I’ve eaten- this could get problematic heaved a few times at random stuff but haven’t actually been sick yet luckily. Is Tuesday the day AF is due?

How are you @lastonetime what symptoms have you got? For some reason I like to hear what might be coming up

So sorry @Sazzy312 that sounds tough, I think a lot of us on here have only just started trying so you might struggle to find someone on here with that experience. By all means stick around and chat if you’d like to just don’t want you to feel upset if we can’t answer you. With your situation though and depending on how old you are I would suggest a trip to the doctors to discuss getting some further tests to rule out any underlying issues. Wishing you lots of luck

So far I’ve got nausea, sore nipples, weird discharge, needing to wee more, very strange cold for one day that totally wiped me out wondering if that was some sort of implantation sign?! Probably just wishful thinking! Told DP I’m doing a test in the morning think he’s excited/nervous like me!

I keep trying to send a message but it keeps failing. It might turn up 3 times soon!

I know I said I would test till AF was late, but I've been feeling so sick I thought why not. It was 2nd urine of the day (DD woke me at 0500!) The line seemed to be there within the 1 min, but was so faint I kind of thought it was an evap or indent. But within 3 mins it was darker. I took a picture with the femometer app and its saying hcg 9 (?) and positive.

Trying to not get too excited until it gets stronger and I'm post period. I had a chemical pregnancy before my DD, so I'm wary. That's why I didn't want to test early, but I felt soooooo sick

I know. Cant believe it. So happy and scared at the same time. I just felt so sick I just had to do it.

I've got a 10 (now 9) pack of cheap amazon tests and a FRER so might do a few over the next few days to check if levels are rising. But going to try to not go crazy with it

I didn't get any sickness with DD, so it's odd how nauseous I feel immediately now.

I'm going to try to not get too excited though in case there is any disappointment

I think I ovulated on the 7th, and we DTD on 5th and 6th.

@yoomoo Thank you! Last night I had some spotting so thought AF must be coming early. But then nothing this morning. So I did a FRER which was BFN but also dipped a cheapie which shows a very very very faint 'something.' But I won't trust that as it's picked up a chemical before! Had 3 BFPs in September then AF came! So I'll trust the FRER! BFN. At least the next cycle would mean testing around Valentine's Day! Which could be nice timing 🥰.

Thank you everybody. I'm still a little bit in shock. Got lower stomach and back aches like AF is coming, but hopefully it's just implanting and stretching pains. I'm going to be cautiously optimistic for the next few days and see what happens. I've been stung by a chemical before.

It's quite faint, but a bit darker in real life. Hopefully tests will get darker as the days progress. Now my problem will be wanting to test all the time
