Maybe a dumb question but I'm currently baking and did that thing, you know licked the spoon, we all do it - don't judge. Then thought ooooo shit raw eggs! Is that an issue when TTC or just when you've got a bun in the oven? Bit late now like haha but for future reference, I bake a lot!

nt1992 · 10/12/2019 20:27

@mellymoo86 here's hoping! 😂

mrsio · 10/12/2019 20:31

Don't worry ladies you can eat raw eggs as long as they're lion stamped and you can dye your hair x

CiaraJ01 · 10/12/2019 20:34

@Blondeandbroody I'm sorry I've no idea! Lots of bombshells today between not DTD during 2WW and not drinking during fertile week it seems we cant do anything!!! 😨

mellymoo86 · 10/12/2019 21:04

@mrsio just read further about dying hair online, seems alright, will have to look into it later on. It's manageable for now. And yeah @Blondeandbroody you can have eggs as long as the red lion is on it but maybe not raw eggs lol. A little amount of it won't do any harm. I've stopped having tuna because of mercury. But will still have it here and there outside of fertile period. Not a major loss though, not like my precious porn star martini 😩

Blondeandbroody · 10/12/2019 21:07

@mellymoo86 @CiaraJ01 @mrsio thanks ladies I literally didn't think until I'd gobbled a spoon of raw blondie dough and wanted to cry haha!!

Seems like it will be okay but perhaps I'll resist the temptation in future just to be safe!

mellymoo86 · 10/12/2019 21:09

@Blondeandbroody I made banana blondies last week and ate some dough to! I love it!!!

Mum2boyss · 10/12/2019 21:30

mellymoo86 · 10/12/2019 21:42

@Mum2boyss I definitely see that faint line 😁😁 what DPO are you?

Blondeandbroody · 10/12/2019 21:44

@mellymoo86 ooooo bananablondies haven't tried those I usually make caramel and white chocolate ones but might dabble is some banananananananna ones

Mum2boyss · 10/12/2019 21:47

I'm only 6/7 I think? Might of ovulated earlier than I thought, I've got pcos so OPKs arnt 100% coz they can be false with it. I only did one because the mince I was cooking for tea revolted me 🤢 which I thought was odd! I just keep staring at it no knowing if I'm just going insane 😂 xx

mellymoo86 · 10/12/2019 21:53

Does anyone here have 26-28 day cycles? I'm a little concerned my luteal phase is low?

@Blondeandbroody They're super yummy, make sure the bananas are black though. I freeze them when they're black and use it when I need.

@Mum2boyss yeah you might have ovulated earlier, have you got a FRER or digital test?

Mum2boyss · 10/12/2019 21:55

@mellymoo86 I've got a clear blue digital one, but I think I might be too early for it to pick anything up, it's going to be a long few days waiting till I can use it 😂 don't want to get my hopes up just Incase xx

CiaraJ01 · 10/12/2019 21:57

@mellymoo86 I'm around a 27 day cycle!

Hmmm blondies 😍

Blondeandbroody · 10/12/2019 22:24

@mellymoo86 ooooh TTC advice/support and baking tips, what a place this is ❤️ haha x

I'll give that a go when we actually have banananananas in - they make me gag the texture is just icky so I can't eat them and rarely have them in unless I bake with them then I love them!

mellymoo86 · 10/12/2019 22:34

@CiaraJ01 How long is your luteal phase normally? Mine are about 10-11 days.

So I've been reading online that zinc, magnesium and b6 are important for egg health and maintaining/increasing progesterone levels. They work with the corpus luteum to produce progesterone. I checked the vitamins I'm taking and none of them are in it, i was like wtf. Just ordered some to start taking from tomorrow. I tend to have spotting during my luteal phase, as well as bad headaches/migraines and anxiety/stress which are all signs of low progesterone. Also a reason why I might have had a early miscarriage. Hopefully all these vitamins don't kill me lol

mellymoo86 · 10/12/2019 22:45

What is everyone taking btw? feel like I'm becoming a druggy 😂

Blondeandbroody · 10/12/2019 22:47

@mellymoo86 I am just taking straight folic acid at the moment but I have some pregnancy multi vitamins from Asda that I think I'll start taking next cycle and if I get a BFP too!

CiaraJ01 · 11/12/2019 06:32

Morning!

My luteal is 12 days according to glow. I've not really paid attention to it before so that's only tracked one month. I'm taking well woman that is probably more expensive for all that's in it, but taking the pregnancy one rather than conception.

I know I said I'm not symptom spotting.....
but I've had so much trouble sleeping this week! I love my bed and although I'm often tired I think I've no trouble sleeping. Since Sunday I've struggled falling asleep and even more so staying asleep.Any ideas?! I cant say its because I'm stressing over work or xmas, I find myself going through old memories?! I literally had to count to 100 last night to keep my mind from wandering!

CiaraJ01 · 11/12/2019 07:33

And for those who are beating themselves up at not getting the BFP just yet....

#shinebrightlikeagina 😂

Blondeandbroody · 11/12/2019 07:38

@CiaraJ01 I've been putting a guided meditation video on YouTube when I have been trying to get to sleep because I find myself tired so I go to bed and 2 hours later I've read everything on the internet and have to tell myself to stop and go to sleep. I'm usually out like a light within 15 minutes of the video.

This however is all normal for me my mind just doesn't shut off when I get in bed.

The one I use as my go to is with a crackling fire noise in the background haha

Blondeandbroody · 11/12/2019 07:40

Also I've had some spotting again, this is now the fourth day and it's still a pale brown colour at first I thought it was pink but then took a photo and it looks browny. The previous days have been a pale brown almost orange colour.

CD 24
7-10DPO (lol)

CiaraJ01 · 11/12/2019 07:44

Could be implantation @Blondeandbroody 😁😁🤞🤞

I usually have no trouble, I dont know why! I try not use my phone in bed but it's not really an issue even when I do! I'm trying not to google early pregnancy symptoms again 😂😂 I'll blame Xmas subconsciously and will try the guided meditation thanks 💕

Blondeandbroody · 11/12/2019 07:49

@CiaraJ01 I did allow myself to think for a moment because of the timing I could potentially be 10dpo now... but it's been 4 days and google tells me that's too long for implantation? It's also not blood like lol! Hard to explain it.

Anyways I took a test this AM so I can drink tonight knowing I'm not currently pregnant to my knowledge haha and will wait now until my AF is due next week before testing again (she says haha but we shall see). It was negative of course, I'm 7 days from AF due date so even on a FRER it's too soon so not disappointed that it's negative I think I'll only be disappointed when AF shows as that's official you're out confirmation!

It's by Jason Stephenson the one I use x

mellymoo86 · 11/12/2019 08:38

@Blondeandbroody @CiaraJ01 I noticed I spotted quit a bit last cycle. On and off here and there and apparently that's a symptom of progesterone deficiency. I'm monitoring BBT this cycle to see my progesterone uprise (hopefully there is one lol) ALSO GIRLS I might be stupid but did you know this..

PRO - GESTORONE

PRO - GES....(GESTATIONAL SAC), that's where it comes from. Progesterone spikes and stays up to create/maintain the gestational sac, which is why b6, zinc and magnesium is vital. Magnesium also calms you and helps you sleep and whilst you sleep it create melanin which is also vital. @CiaraJ01 @Blondeandbroody You might be finding it hard to sleep because of your hormones right now. So try to stay off that phone and maybe have a herbal tea, listen to some calming music etc just try to get into the zone.
