So I was reading about this clinical trial performed on 73 couples and they found that if you dtd TWICE in the space of an hour it increased your chances of getting pregnant from 6% to 20%!! They found the second sample of male semen to be higher in concentration. How is that even possible!

Sorry @nt1992 I didnt realise they were as clear last week! I think FRER is quite a bit more sensitive than the normal. Sometimes you just bloody wish AF will turn up and put you out of your misery!!

Hmm I would say since you've been tracking for a few months now just go with your own instincts. My apps say different dates to but I've always spotted around cycle day 26 and 27 so I assume I'll be the same this month. What cycle day are you? Think you said you have 28 cycle right?

Average of a 27 day cycle but last month it was 2 days early just to remind me theres no such thing as a plan 🙄

I think if it's a BFN this month we'll try preseed next month. I cant wait with that description 😂

@CiaraJ01 Yeah I would try the FRER tomorrow or before you take your flight. Your FRER should pick up the HCG hormone by then as it should be 80%+ chance the day before AF and 90% chance on the day of AF.

Haha I'm not that good. Just been doing a lot of reading. There's so much we can do, it's heavily based on when your body is ready and a little bit of luck. 😊

I was having the same convo with him yesterday, he really struggles to get around how much luck is involved, even though his sister has struggled lots. Men are such a 'go in and fix it' type people 😂

@CiaraJ01 😂 They really are. There's a lot more to it and I don't think they understand the way we do. My OH is sort of going with the flow. He knows it can take some time and I think even if he had little doubts he wouldn't tell me to ensure I'm happy. I think it's helped that we are both getting tested alongside ttc so gives us both peace of mind.

I feel optimistic about this cycle. I actually have nothing to base that on whatsoever 😂😂 and I feel bad for being positive. I'm trying to now tell myself it's not positive and I'll get a BFN. This is a total mind f*ck I tell you. Lol

I was totally pessimistic this month until last night... now I'm slightly getting my Hope's up and think Could I be?! 🤞🤞

My OH is slightly worried about his swimmers but after I complained the last time about too much pressure on us both jesus majorly relaxed or at least stopped telling me 😂

@CiaraJ01 Yeah I can imagine his got a little thought in his mind if his little swimmers are working well or if they're all just knocking into each other and dying like homer sperm from Simpson's 😂 I'm sure you're both ok. I looked at my OH sperm months ago, like the colour and consistency and I was like yup looks fine and he was just like 😏 thanks 😂 and you ovulate and have normal length cycles. So yeah it's all a matter of timing now 😊

My hope levels are fluctuating.

I'm at a high hopes stage today after feeling negative the last few days. It's the cramps I'm getting that I never get before AF and the lack of sore boobs which I always get way before AF! It could all be explained as coming off the pill and this is my new normal etc but I just feel like this is different and that's giving me hope! I haven't had any other symptoms other than being extremely clumsy and forgetful but I am like that sometimes anyway.

My CM is also much thicker today and my CP was low the other day so I thought I'm out and then read that it changes so much that it's not a good indicator and since then it's been high medium slightly to one side etc so I'm ignoring that now.

I did take an IC today which was negative but I'm still hopeful. Hope for us both that the witch doesn't show as we get our BFPs xx

@Blondeandbroody All sounds very promising. When do you plan to retest and will you use FRER?

Just checking in with you all! So I use conceive plus, do most people use preseed? I somehow have managed to not use opks this month, and we seem to have DTD more than previous months.

@Blondeandbroody yep looks like we're AF twins lol! When are you testing again? I fly Thursday without my OH for Xmas, so if I want to let him in on the secret I need to test by Weds!

I've had zero thoughts this month that it's worked, very if it's meant to be. But then as it gets closer to AF it always starts getting my hopes up! I've no idea on CM and CP so i'm blissfully unaware lol!

@mellymoo86 lol I don't think I'll share that homer sperm meme with him, he'll start worrying it's possible!! Fingers crossed we're normal anyway. I've only one FRER left (when I find it) so i can't give in to temptation just yet!! (or you're peer pressure lol)

@FutureMrsSmith any sign of AF? I've felt wet all day thinking she had arrived but nothing yet no cramps either.
