@stepmumma91 I did wonder what they would say - although definitely a waste to go to the early pregnancy unit when at this stage your saying you're unsure! I would do another test and then agree with @skygirl1983 to just book in with a GP for a 'pregnancy related issue'!!

CiaraJ01 · 15/11/2019 13:37

Same here - the manager before me was male so I'm hoping I can appeal to their better nature (and lean on the fact they really want me to stay!)

CiaraJ01 · 15/11/2019 13:37

Whoops @MrsC89 didn't tag you in!

Louu99 · 15/11/2019 13:46

I'm so behind on this post as I've been listening to these gutsy women! Huge clue about where I am, so apologies 😂

@Louu99 looks fun! Are you all burning your bras later? Haha!! Will you have time to call your doctor soon??

@Maisy24 I have read that sperm can live up to 5 days inside, I’m hoping one hung on in there long enough to jump on the egg once it popped. OH goes away for work next month a couple of days before my “fertile window” starts & isn’t back till after it’s finished. Been thinking if I can get some of the precious elixir couriered too me lol

Skygirl1983 · 15/11/2019 14:03

@sh84 the conditions have to be perfect for them to survive that long too. Right ph levels in CM etc. A few of us have started using preseed with is a lube that helps make a favourable environment and aid conception. Something for you to consider next time around.

mellymoo86 · 15/11/2019 14:05

@Louu99 did you call doctors and did your best friend reply back?

sh84 · 15/11/2019 14:14

@Skygirl1983 I’ve heard of preseed too. I wouldn’t know if my insides are hospitable or not tbh, I don’t take much notice of CM & I’ve never felt my own cervix. I have noticed that I never have completely clear EWCM in consistency, it’s always white, it just gets more thin & watery then goes back to creamy consistency. Never knew I’d be posting online to complete strangers what my vaginal discharge looks/feels like.

& as far as a job, I’m a midwife, not currently working as I gave birth & lost my son in the hospital I work in & I still don’t know if I can ever go back there. I want to but right now I just want a baby

Skygirl1983 · 15/11/2019 14:19

@sh84 no such thing as tmi in our group! Lol! But I'm definitely much more aware of my CM. I was recommended preseed from a colleague and reviews seem good too.

I'm so sorry about you son. That must certainly be a very difficult situation for you. Especially when you work in that environment. I hope it all works out for you very soon ❤

@Skygirl1983 @mellymoo86 I rang and I'm waiting for a doctor to have a look and ring me back... 😳

Skygirl1983 · 15/11/2019 14:24

@Lou99 good. That seems better.

sh84 · 15/11/2019 14:25

Ha, I’ve felt many a cervix except my own & had many tmi conversations. I always thought I was quite in tune with my body but now I question everything I know, professionally & personally. It was hard being around colleagues & friends & knowing that the prognosis was poor, the doctors I worked with saying the same thing- I don’t need to tell you but...
I just need a BFP, I so desperately wanted to have a baby by my sons first birthday, if it don’t happen this month that won’t be the case

sh84 · 15/11/2019 14:27

@Louu99 I’m so excited for you. When I saw your test I actually gasped & was like that’s positive

MrsC89 · 15/11/2019 14:27

Have any of you looked at your resting heart rate in relation to when you ovulate? They say you can see a heart rate rise before ovulation, then after ovulation a drop.

mellymoo86 · 15/11/2019 14:30

@Louu99 those doctors need to move their ass!!

mellymoo86 · 15/11/2019 14:35

@CiaraJ01 I seriously don't know what's wrong with me. I need to snap out of this mood. I feel so miserable and feel like crying. Even Nutella doesn't make me happy right now 😂🙁😩😭😭😭

Skygirl1983 · 15/11/2019 14:42

I'm currently sat at my desk looking like I'm doing work until it is acceptable to leave!

@MrsC89 I wouldn't want to check my testing heart rate just now! I haven't been to the gym since the end of August so dread to think how high it is!!

OP posts:
mellymoo86 · 15/11/2019 14:44

Lol @Skygirl1983 what time are you done? I'm done already. Just cooking some food for hubby before Barcelona on Sunday. If not he might live on oven food 😏

Skygirl1983 · 15/11/2019 14:50

@mellymoo86 officially 4pm. I'll be gone by 330pm though. Might go and grab a cuppa. You are a good wife. I'd let my hubby sort himself out!!

@mellymoo86 yep I know how you feel! A nap might help! I also lost my wireless earphones charger yesterday, plus my bank card, and thought my PT session was 30 mins later than it was - so not a good day all round! But I decided I was tired - hence the time out this morning with lots of whipped cream.

@Louu99 glad to hear it!! Fingers crossed it's soon xx

@sh84 so sorry to hear about your son, my SIL has gone through something similar and also wanted another by the time her son's birthday came round and it was really difficult when it just wouldn't happen. Thankfully she's now 24 weeks pregnant, so better late than never! It will come

MrsC89 · 15/11/2019 15:37

@Skygirl1983 I had a look at my fitbit and its like a rollercoaster. Dont think it's very reliable to pinpoint, but I can see a rise for ovulation. But thats it ask me anything more i wouldnt have a clue!

Ellsbells112 · 15/11/2019 15:55

@mrsc89 omg you've peaked my interest! I have a fitbit how do I see a peak for ovulation?? Do you sleep and wear it? Lol thanks in advance x

MrsC89 · 15/11/2019 16:03

@Ellsbells112 yes if you wear it all the time.
So my resting heart rate is normally around 62, but since the 9th there has been a steady rise and yesterday it peaked at 70bpm, today back to 68 and it will gradually work it's way back down, then higher before AF. Then as AF arrives it drops again. Just look at the number it gives you for your resting, and you can look at a monthly view, you may be able to see a pattern!
