Hi Everyone this is my first post, I came off the pill in September TTC for the first time. I had a period in October and worked out when I would be (hopefully) ovulating in November. I am now 2 days late for my period and took a clear blue test this evening. The first test came back very clearly positive then I did another about an hour later which showed negative with a very very faint positive line. Should I call the doctors to book and appointment in the morning or wait a few days to test again?

@RosieCWilliams welcome and well done on your positive. I'm guessing the second test was like that as your hcg levels weren't enough with it being so soon after the first. I'd test again tomorrow and if you get another strong positive see the doctor afterwards for your next steps. Good luck.

Ok so I caved again & bought 4 more FRER did one about an hour ago & im pretty sure it’s a BFN in which case I’m out till next year as OH is away for next months fertile window. If I shine a torch & tilt it a certain way I’m sure I can see a line but I don’t think it’s a BFP line. Ffs, going to wallow for the rest of the night (year) now

I was a bit reluctant to get pregnant in December anyway as it would be due in August & that’s the month I had my son, it feels like August is his month & I wouldn’t want anything to take that away from him. Was desperate to have a baby by his first birthday though so I’m pretty gutted tbh

@Skygirl1983 I'm travelling back on Thursday, will be back in the UK in the evening, planning to test on Friday at 11 DPO. I should be starting AF 12 or 13dpo according to my 26-28 cycle. @CiaraJ01 currently have food baby. My best friend says even if I don't get pregnant at least I'll look pregnant 😂😂 stupid bitch, nice friends I have lol.

@mellymoo86 well a food baby is an ok consolation prize 🤷‍♀️ I go to amsterdam with friends for three nights. Will try DTD early before my flight on the friday and soon as I'm back the Monday evening but it's unlikely we'll catch it 🙄

@sh84 similar situation to my sister in law. She wanted another baby before her son's birthday in August but unfortunately wasnt to be. She is however now due in Feb so silver lining and I'm sure your next baby will know all about their brother 💕
