About 12dpo I think!! I have barely any symptoms though! A bit of nausea (like every month) and my cold isn't shifting. Can't quite believe it. Not told dh yet as I've got his hopes up twice before.
How are you getting on? X

Have you tried the acupressure travel bands @lolastanley1? And snack regularly on plain biscuits. Both helped me a little last time x

@sammyclaire22 Struggling with sickness and on anti-sick meds. I also have a repeat blood test this morning that I'm waiting for as I had a problem with my liver on the first. Fingers crossed it's nothing! Ive got my midwife appointment on Friday and an early scan sunday so that's very exciting!

@Quiffy is your early scan private? I’m so tempted to have one but I’m worried.

@Sammyclaire22 aw thanks! I’ve heard they can help, at the moment I’ve got mints but not sure if they made it worse.

@Lolastanley1 yeah I booked a private one, it was only £55 so seemed worth it to see how things are going

@lolastanley1 I found mints made me worse, as did ginger tbh. I tried a lot of the chemo tips like full fat coke too but nothing helped much. I found I had to put the band's on first first thing to work too and keep them on, otherwise they didn't help. Not sure how it works though!

Mint defo makes me worse as does ginger. I've had my bands on full stop for two weeks now haha. Less cravings and more aversions for me atm, chocolate is a big no-no and anything else sweet. I've just been eating turkey dinosaurs and potato products, which is very unlike me. Least I've lost 14lbs! I do quite fancy some chicken selects from mcdonalds and there's one beside the place where my midwife appointment is on Friday so think we'll get a drive through

Got my bloods done, appointment was 40 mins late so sitting in the waiting room was fun. Then then had to use both arms for bloods so feeling sorry for myself hehe. Going to try and do some more work then go to bed with some Netflix

@quiffy you sound just like i was! Ive never heard of anyone else who craved chicken and potatoes. I lived on dippers and mash haha. And the one day I would have killed for a kfc they bloody ran out of chicken.
That's rough about the bloods, I ended up using Emla cream for mine as I hate needles and it was one less stress.
Not sure @lolastanley1... I think I want to wait a few days to be sure it gets darker and I miss AF. After a few false hopes I'm surprisingly cautious now I've got a clear bfp. Might make a big sister t shirt for my dd to wear. X

@Quiffy sorry to hear you're feeling so sick. I bought the anti nausea bands but they made me feel sicker... very strange. Luckily I still haven't thrown up and hoping I've got over the worst part now. I mainly eat bread, cheese and popcorn I can't wait to feel normal again because I miss healthy food so much.
@Lolastanley1 I found the private scan so useful. Otherwise I was just wishing time away and counting the days until my 10 week scan (also private haha!). Although people say to go from 8 weeks otherwise you don't see much. By people I mean mumsnet so don't know how true that is.

How far along are you all now?
I've just done an estimated due date and it's a week after my mum's wedding... But my first arrived early! Oops! Still doesn't feel real.
About 8 weeks i think it's like a head with a lumpy body. The lovely thing was hearing the heartbeat though

@sammyclaire22 yes exactly, it looked like a little hamster on the scan picture. I didn't even bother sending it to my parents. I'm 10 weeks now and got my private scan on Saturday. I can't wait to see how the baby has changed in two weeks. I love your idea of the teeshirt for you DD. I bought some transfer paper on Ebay and gonna have a go at making some teeshirts. Have you ever done it before?,

I have a die cutting machine so I've made some in the past with iron on vinyl- just need to create a design! Might reuse the t shirt when we tell the parents. Ive not tried transfer paper! x

Looks amazing @sammyclaire22 looks so professional. I doubt mine will look anything like that lol. The transfer paper was so cheap so I'm not expecting wondera. I love the skirt on the left hand side. It's from next, right? My daughter had the same one

Ahh thanks- it's the machine that does all the work I just use an iron! Yep- my eBay bargin! She didn't wear it much though as she wasn't walking and skirts got in the way of her crawling. I'm sure yours will look great, the stuff doesn't have to be expensive to work well. My vinyl was only a quid or two and asda vests!

Random question but should tests get darker each day? Mine's the same as yesterday and as I don't "feel" pregnant still it's worrying me! Probably being daft.
