@lilice did you keep on taking the coenz 10 and vitamin b complex once you ovulated or take those the whole cycle? I've stopped the evening primrose today as I think I ovulated yesterday or today 🤞

It doesn’t feel real yet! I’ve done a few tests but it’s still not sunk in. I have the occasional cramps and then waves of nausea. How you feeling?
I haven’t told him yet, to be honest I’m so scared to tell him. If you remembered he sort of backed off the idea of having kids soon and then yesterday when I was thinking of telling him he mentioned that he wasn’t sure if he wanted any.

Aw thanks @sammyclaire22 I know it’s probably going be ok, at the end of the day. He knew the risks! Men pfffft! Yeah his fears are all normal fears! Finances etc. So I understand. We’ve got our anniversary next week so I was thinking then! I just don’t know what I’m supposed to do next! Do I ring my GP? Contact a midwife?

I think it was a chemical and that’s why it was so faint. I’m bleeding today. Af was due today.

@LolaStanley1 men can be weird and worried about stuff like that. It will all be fine when it sinks in. I just phoned my gp to ask and they gave me a number for the midwife :)

@LolaStanley1i think now most places say to self refer directly to the midwife but I still rang my gp and took it from there. She told me what to do, had to pick up a pregnancy pack from the surgery then self referred online.
Telling your man on your anniversary sounds super romantic! I'm sure he'll be grand
I'm feeling so anxious I decided to book an early scan for tomorrow. Mumsnet not so good sometimes and I read stuff that scares me. So I decided just for peace of mind. It's a bit silly because I already booked one for when I'm 10 weeks but I just cannot wait any longer. I wonder how I coped in my previous pregnancies, I was so much more patient back then.

Fwiw most stuff for babies you can get second hand- until 12months things really arnt used much at all. Eg we got posh chair rocker as new (that plays mp3 music!) For only £20, all the fabric is washable and you can anti bac all the plastic. Then you can sell it on again once youve stopped using it.
For both times I got pregnant I booked in with the gp- 1st time as I didn't know the process and second as I needed early scans. But I think normally you just phone up the midwife. It's a bit of an anticlimax really as they book you in weeks away!

Not silly at all @lilice- if you are feeling anxious and that an early scan will help calm you then go for it. A chilled mama is best!

Sammyclaire I don’t think I it’s implantation bleeding it’s very red.

You can have fresh blood and be ok- I had it with my dd a few times until I was about 4 months. There can be a few reasons, not just bad ones. Fc for you that it works out xx

How’s everybody getting on?

@LolaStanley1 trying to survive half term break haha! Had my private scan on Sunday and was amazing to see the heart beating. How's things with you? Have you rang the midwife?

Nothing to report my end, in the tww and decided to try and hold off testing at all until the 29th if AF hasn't arrived. Full of a cough and cold so actually pretty chilled this month, feel too rough to obsess!

@sammyclaire22 well that could be a good sign! That’s kind of how I felt.

@lilice aww how many weeks was that? Yeah I finally managed to sort it yesterday! I’ve been tempted to book a 6 week scan just because I still don’t feel it’s real!

@lolastanley1 i wish it was, but everyone at work has it at the moment! Not really sure how many dpo I am as my but didn't rise much for about 3 days after i stopped getting ewcm, so its either a slow rise or I'm only 3dpo!
If you can afford it consider a 4d scan later on too- we got a sneaky free one at about 10w when I had booked an emergency one for a bleed and it's so cute to see them bopping about! Will see if I can find the pic!
