Anybody 3DPO that wants to ride the TWW together?

Ah yah! You can see your implantation clearly! I’ll bite the bullet this weekend if AF hasn’t shown up. It’s only CD27 and my normal is 26-28 so not out the clear yet. Just super nervous around getting a BFN or another chemical.

@quiffy @lilice how are you both doing? I've just had my call for booking in appointment and they've asked me to go in for an early scan this week because of my period like bleed before I got my BFP - I'm stupidly nervous 😫

@whambam89 It will be fine! Plus you'll get to see the little bean for the first time

@quiffy im avoiding the scales too haha! @whambam89 they don't think that was your implementation bleeding? Im sure it will be fine and yeah you'll get to see your baby! Did they say when?
Ive finally got my midwife appointment tomorrow and I booked a private scan on the 29th, ill be 10 weeks. Quite nervous too.

@quiffy @lilice it's Thursday morning. I don't know why but I just feel really nervous about it. I'm having to go on my own as well as my OH is working away.
I think I would be more concerned if I'd had the bleed after a positive test but I had a negative test a couple of days before then the positive a few days after it. She didn't mention implantation bleeding - to be honest she didn't even seem concerned at all about it until I asked again at the end of the call if it's something I should be concerned about.

@whambam89 is there anyone else you can go with? Just for a handhold? Like you say, it was before your BFP so doesnt seem like a massive concern. Hopefully the time until Thursday goes quickly so you're not worrying for too long

@Lilice scales are evil, doesnt help that I put on weight before getting pregnant rather than losing it. Know I'm in for a lecture.

@quiffy we haven't told anyone else yet but I might tell my mum and see if she would come with me. I'm being stupid and googling like a crazy woman 🤦🤦

@whambam89 I understand why you're nervous, but she's probably being over cautious. On a positive note you seem to have a lovely midwife that's really looking after you!

@lilice @quiffy literally every thread I've read that's been similar now has been an ectopic pregnancy - really worried 😭

Try not to worry @whambam89- I had period like bleeding with my ectopic, but I ALSO had it with my daughter. It can be caused by a HUGE range of things- implantation bleeding, some women have periods the whole way through their pregnancy, I had heavy fresh bleeds with my dd due to cervical erosion (enough to make me sure it was a mc each time) and it can also be things like haematomas and fibroids, most of which are totally harmless but might need monitoring. I'd take someone with you even if it's a mate as if there is anything they find it's worth having a second pair of ears to take in the advice. At the moment you have a perfectly healthy pregnancy so the best thing you can do for baby is relax and look forward to seeing them on screen soon!

Thanks @sammyclaire22 what other symptoms did you have with your ectopic (if any)? Did you have your period like bleed before you had a positive test? I think I slept on my wrist funny the other day and my lower arm has been aching ever since and now I'm convincing myself it's going to be the worst 😭

I agree with @Sammyclaire22 the best thing is to relax, easier said that done I know but it all sounds good.

Temp still raised but got really bad AF pains so expecting the Worse tomorrow.

Yeh with my ectopic I had a normal period then still had sore boobs so tested a week or so after. No unusual symptoms until i was 6weeks and had stomach crampy pain like food poisoning. It came on and off over the day until it got pretty bad. I work in a hospital so went over to the maternity wing to get checked out and they found my tube had already ruptured and had me in surgery a couple of hours after my initial scan. The main symptoms usually are bleeding and one sided pain (but I didn't have those) however it's pretty rare and like I said earlier there are LOTS of reasons for bleeding. And if it really is an ectopic, I'm proof you can still go on to have a family.
Main thing is if you get any strong abdominal or shoulder tip pain or new bleeding to go and get checked out pronto, but otherwise please try not to worry. Twinges and cramping are normal too! But if you have any worries or questions please feel free to ask though.
If you are really worried then you can always go for a private scan- with each of my bleeds I got in the same day at a local place and it was worth every penny for the peace of mind. They also booked me in at 5w +4 for my first scan as I was scared to wait until 6w again. It might mean your OH can go with you too? X

Think I might be due to ovulate tomorrow and instead of jumping my bones the hubby is asleep on the floor! Wth!?!?!?!

@sammyclaire22 we do have a private scan place locally but my OH is away already and doesn't get back until Thursday evening so if I managed to get in tomorrow I would still be on my own. I think I'll have to just try and put it to the back of my mind somehow and wait it out until Thursday morning.

What’s the earliest you can get a scan?

@whambam89 when i was pregnant with my first I also got a "period" before getting a bfp. In fact i also had a bfn after the "period" as I tested, wondering why I was late. A couple of weeks later I tested again and got a bfp. So the "period" was implentation bleeding. Could be the same for you. Please try not to worry too much, i know it's hard.

So today I felt exhausted and generally just rubbish so I decided to bite the bullet by telling myself if it’s BFN I have drank loads and only held my urine for 1 hour... but here we have it.
