14dpo and still no AF (2 days late via fem or due tomorrow on ovia).. still slight trace of blood too which is unusual for me but bfn test. My bbt has dropped 2 days in a row again though so just wish it would hurry up and arrive!

@sammyclaire22 thank you! I feel like the line should be darker though but I know that a few days ago it was a lot lot lighter so it's not that it's been darker and got lighter.

I wouldnt stress too much about the darkness of the line or the bleeding- it's a clear positive and will be influence by how dilute your urine is, and will be dif between brands too. And as for the bleeding I had a totally normal period when I was first pregnant and the Dr assured me implantation can be heavy. And with my daughter I had quite a few heavy bleeds which were nothing at all (probably erosion!)

@sammyclaire22 I've taken a couple of other strip tests as well today and both are definite positives. I bled around 5 weeks with DD1 but had already had a dark positive by then. I already feel like I'm going to be so much more anxious this time round 🤦 my boobs aren't hurting anymore but I've had nausea, headaches and have been absolutely knackered for a few days now so I suppose they're good signs 🤞

How many dpo were you when you first got a positive? Was so sure I was out the last 2 days but now I feel all confused again, it's torture!
Maybe this will be a really symptom light pregnancy- either way I'm sure it will all be fine for you!

@sammyclaire22 I got a vvv faint line at about 16 dpo I think it was! I thought it was an evap because I was so certain I wasn't pregnant I just put it in the drawer after a minute and didn't see it until I went back after. Looking at it now though there is colour to it so it obviously wasn't! I could have my ovulation dates wrong though to be fair as I only use Flo, so if I'm 3 or 4 days out then I would only be 17/18 dpo now

@whambam89 I'm feeling horrendous, shattered and nauseous all day long. Never felt this way before. I hope I will feel better in the second trimester!

@lilice it's hard to think of it this way but it's a good sign that you feel so rubbish!

3 days late and one of my tests last night had a faint second line, then my temp rose again slightly this morning (although I didn't sleep well at all) but bfn on flu then 20 mins later I think AF arrived.
This constant up and down is killing me. I don't cry often but I did on the way to work today. I just feel like I have noone to talk to as noone really gets it unless they are ttc too. Can't talk to the husband as he has a habit of bringing up stuff I've got upset about in arguments and this is one topic I couldn't deal with him throwing this one in my face.

@sammyclaire22 it's such an emotionally exhausting time TTC, I've found it so much harder this time round - my body seems to have been playing tricks on me from the moment we started trying. My first couple of months trying my cycles dropped down from 31 days to 23 days then just went back to normal again meaning I thought I was late and got my hopes up. How long have you been trying for now? X

Same here- I've been really regular until we started ttc then my cycles have started changing length and I've been having spotting which I never normally do. I can understand feeling sick and noticing cramps as just being hypersensitive to my body but those symptoms I can't imagine!
This is only cycle 4 so really early in the grand scheme, but I guess I was just hoping we would be lucky twice as realistically it might well not happen at all and now the months are rolling on I'm loosing the energy to stay positive. Its not long til i turn 35 and It just takes up so much mental space remembering to check this or record that and all for nothing.

@sammyclaire it will happen for you soon, do you use OPKs and temp?

TTC is a roller coaster of emotions and such a draining process. I understand your disapointment @Sammyclaire22 and the struggle to stay positive. Like you say in the grand scheme of things 4 cycles isn't that long and it will happen eventually. Have you looked into different supplements and vitamins? The cycle I conceived, I was taking coenzyme q10 with vitamin B complex and evening primrose. Might be a coincidence but worth a try?

Yes I opk and temp, with the oh having shifts we would never dtd enough or at the right time otherwise. It's probably why it took us so long first time as I only used opks but mine seem a bit up and down so peaks arnt clear and I used to use the apps estimate (which isn't too accurate going off the last few months!)
I take multi vitamins but will get some co10 etc i think for next month. I considered skipping ttc a month but I think my fertile window falls just before the 14th so might as well make the most of the loved up national mood

I’m sorry to hear that @sammyclaire22 it is emotionally exhausting and I feel my only outlet is this group too. Hang in there, you will get there.
I also had the same problem with my cycles going from regular to all over the shop!

@whambam89 congratulations!!! That's amazing news! I wouldn't worry too much about lines. I really freaked myself out with line darkness last week, but all our bodies are different and produce different levels. I wasnt sleeping as I was so worried about a line in the morning. Easier said than done though!

@Sammyclaire22 TTC is awful. I'm sure I thought it was some romantic and happy time when I was younger. It really isnt. Fingers crossed that the Valentine's energy has some baby dust for you

@quiffy thank you! I bought a CB digital yesterday which read 1-2 weeks and despite wanting to go out and buy tests so I can test constantly I'm going to leave it. I'm still having some brown spotting when I wipe (have done since the end of what I thought was AF) hoping as it's brown that it's no cause for concern but I'm waiting for the midwife to call back re my booking in appt so will mention it to her then. How are you getting on?

@whambam89 Being brown that should be fine - Ive seen others say they've had lots of blood and everything was still fine. I'm good, I go from feeling totally fine and worried something is wrong to feeling super icky and happy again haha. I'm trying to get my midwife appointment in too - all feeling very adulty...

This is the most positivity this thread has seen, it’s lovely. Yeah I imagined it being a romantic event that took one attempt and it was done. They really should prepare you for this. It’s very traumatic on your mental health.

This is the best month for me as far as BBT is concerned so even if I don’t get a BFP I am prettt chuffed. I’ve managed to get myself a UTI which I never suffer with, I heard this was a good (lose term) early pregnancy sign but who knows, I think you tend to clutch at straws when TTC. I have been super bloated and cramps on and off, so either AF will arrive this weekend or not. Here’s my latest temp chart, what you guys think?

That looks like a really good temp chart to me - can really see the rise!

@lolastanley1 I have never temped so can't advise on that but I have everything crossed for you - sounds like good signs!

Thanks guys! Do you reckon the dip on the 18CD could be implantation? It’s roughly 6DPO when that occurred.
