@Anny27 I know it'll be early anyway and it's my first cycle so if it is negative, I think I'll be disappointed but not enough that I won't enjoy the day.

I'm trying not to symptom spot but had cold like symptoms yesterday and my appetite and fluid intake is a fair bit higher than normal, so had to remind myself that, as at guess I'm now 4 DPO , it'd be way too early for anything.

@Anny27 glad your well, hopefully the last of hcg will go soon. Blood results should be in tomorrow or Monday I'm quite nervous, just so want my tsh to be low enough that I'm In With a shot. Have to wait for a date for the tube test.

Can't wait to finish work tomorrow got Xmas week off yay. I really need this break.

@MIW01 glad feeling you are feeling a bit better and the bleeding has subsided. Hopefully your appointment will shed some light on everything. We didn't go to the appointment, I called up and she said there was no point going now so we just cancelled it.

@Anny27 yes we have an 8 week early reassurance scan booked in so happy with that. Have been feeling generally ok but the sickness has kicked in today big-time!

Whose all finishing up for Xmas today? I am off out for dinner with the girls tonight which will be nice then I just have a half day on Monday to do and thats me until the 6th! Are we all set for xmas?

My blood results came in and HCG has dropped further so definitely on way out:D I dont know if I will use FRERs anymore. I tested yesterday before going to EPU to check if it was still positive and had a positive (yet faint) line within the time frame....pic attached. I had my blood taken yesterday and HCG is decreasing and it's at level 3 now which is negative to doctors!! I think FRERS are too sensitive and give false hope. No wonder I have had faint lines before when ttc which didn't amount to anything!

@lozzlepop 8 week scan will be lovely! Let us know when you have had it :D I still have a lot of christmassy bits to do haha!

@orangeloo fingers crossed for the blood results! It's my last day at work today and looking forward to chilling!

@1990shopefulftm fingers crossed for you! Some women are lucky and catch first cycle

@orangeloo when did they say you would get results from your fsh test? I went for that last week but my consultant didn't tell me when I would find out- I assumed at our next consultant appointment?

@Anny27 I suppose if the blood test is reading so low then as you say perhaps stop testing as you now know it's decreasing and the poas may be frustrating you. Christmas could be a good distraction!

@Kiza mine is tsh I had fsh earlier in the year which was normal. Have you got a date for appointment?

My tsh is back down to 1.59 yaaay hope it stays that way. I'm going to ask if I can have this checked more regularly.

@Anny27 glad it's on the way out. Wow FRERS must be sensitive and that's actually a very good point. I don't have any at the moment as it was costing me too much as I couldn't help but pee on them. Now I don't know if I'll bother replacing.

Yeah totally @kiza think I will be expecting me period in the next week or so 🤞 what cycle day are you on?

@orangeloo I dont even know what tsh is haha but glad the results are promising:D and yeah FRERs are unbelievably sensitive to detect hcg at level 3!!

I officially have no tests and hope to avoid buying any untill my next period is due.......hahah easier said then done

@Anny27 wow I never knew FRERs were so sensitive- it really makes you think that they almost give false hope. I took one the other day and the line was nice and strong and came up instantly but it would make me think again about using them again in future. I will of course keep you lovelies in the loop! Think I’m pretty much done, just waiting on 2 more presents to arrive and wrap and that’s me! We have a busy day ahead tomorrow, xmas food shop comes tonight so the fridge has been cleaned in preparation and am washing bedsheets to get all the beds changed!

@Kiza I know such a relief, plus we don’t need to shell out for a private scan which of course we would have done but would rather save money to spend on baby. Good luck for SMEP when are you due to OV?

@orangeloo glad to hear your tsh levels are back down, I’m guessing that’s within the normal range now? Did you make any changes to help bring them down?

@ValidUser it’s lovely to hear from you, how’s things? I am so ready for the Christmas holidays now, just a half day Monday to get through then that’s me off for almost two weeks!

Our pregnancy Christmas cards arrived for the parents today and they are beyond cute so very happy with those! Is everyone all set for Xmas?

@Lozzlepop glad your pretty much all set. I have a bit of wrapping and house cleaning to do tomorrow still. Tsh is now normal(below 4) but more importantly should be below 2 to conceive mine is now 1.59 so at last a bit of good news and hope it stays that way.

@orangeloo oh yeah I still have the house cleaning to do 😫 that’s really good news ☺️ We just figure that we might as well tell them now, I’ll be 7+3 on Xmas day and easier than faking a reason for not drinking, hopefully it will be some nice news for everyone ❤️

Hi all! Had an amazing holiday the weather was absolutely fantastic 25 degrees every day 😊 was great just to relax, have unscheduled sex and enjoy each other! Managed to DTD quite a lot but not on my estimated ovulation day so hopefully that doesn’t go against us! According to my Flo app I am now 4DPO, so glad I have Christmas as a distraction this week! AF due 1st Jan 🤞🏼

@whatsthecraic91 so glad you had such a nice and relaxing time away- sounds perfect. Fingers crossed for you it turns out to be just what you needed for a BFP as well as a much needed break.

Ladies the strangest thing has just happened. I'm on cd 12 and the last couple of days ewcm has started. We DTD last night everything fine, been to the loo upon waking for my opk stick- all fine.
Just been to the loo now and wiped a large amount of dark red and brown blood- enough that would make me think damn AF is here. It was quite gloopy (sorry if that TMI) but could be because it's mixed with ewcm and/or sperm.

I'll keep an eye on it today but anyone had this before?
Thinking about it I had the tiniest bit of spotting once on Friday afternoon- so tiny I forgot about it and never had spotting this time of my cycle before.

@whatsthecraic91 I am so glad to hear you had a fantastic time away, it sounds absolutely blissful. I wouldn't worry too much about not DTD on OV day, I am sure you get enough sessions in elsewhere to have hopefully covered all the bases! My scan and 1st midwife appointment are next week, I am feeling good, quite nauseous and needing to pee in the middle of the night but well otherwise. Excited to tell our parents as they will have no clue!

@Kiza oh thats great, get on it girl! Did you maybe have a bit too vigorous of a session or maybe just a small cut? Have you had anymore blood since?

@Lozzlepop no it's more like thick period blood, we DTD yesterday afternoon and been to the loo numerous times since and nothing there. It's stopped now but looked like the beginning of a full flow.
Have been googling it and apparently there is something called 'ovulation bleeding'. Either due to a rise in hormone and the uterus shedding old lining or blood from the egg 'bursting' through.

@Lozzlepop so glad this pregnancy is progressing 💓 it's amazing how happy I am for someone I only know through an internet forum haha! Are you excited to tell your parents?

@orangeloo glad that the levels are normal :) do you think you have a chance this month?

@Kiza never experienced that! I have had spotting around ovulation only one time ever and then only over time I have had spotting mid cycle is when I have had a smear test and they probably aggravated some old blood. That's so strange! Is it back to normal CM now?

@Lottiepink how are you doing lovely? I know you were getting some more tests

I have been temping last 2 weeks and think i have ovulated about 10 days ago so should get period by the new year and then it's back to TTC 🙌🙌 feel like I have been waiting forever! Since I found out about MMC on 25th October so it's been almost 2 months of limbo!

@Anny27 weirdly I'm still spotting, it's now a tiny amount when I wipe but I've still got all the other usual Ovulation symptoms and opks are getting stronger. Just so weird,
It's been such a long one for you, hope Christmas gives you some wonderful memories though.

BFN this morning but probably really is too early since AF is due saturday night. If it doesnt happen this cycle, I ll try to be more patient but will get some OPK's so i know my cycle better.

I m going to test again tommorow morning then leave it till Saturday af will either be Saturday night or Sunday morning , I m normally very patient but not feeling so much at the moment.

BFN again this morning, now to wait to see if AF turns up. Having some cramps this morning but it's probably all the food I ve been eating.

Morning :) I got a well welcomed christmas present....my period haha! Back to ttc this cycle now so can join you ladies with the tracking and DTD. 🙌
