Hi ladies . I’ve just finished my period today and my husband and I are now going to start ttc our first baby after having my Mirena removed last week.
Is anyone else TTC this month ? I’ve ordered some ovulation tests after I said I wouldn’t because I’ve read so many success stories on them so I thought I might as well just so I have some in case !

I’d love for people to share their journey with me ! I’m 24, 25 in two weeks . So excited for our journey . I’m trying to figure out this whole lingo on here and stuff sorry! X

@tiamo04 I am deffo see a line !! Yippee 😁 fingers crossed it gets darker for you but it’s definitely there ! My AF has been a nice light one this week and it stopped today. So only a 4 day period so we can crack on now with DTD for the next few weeks and see if we get our BFP . I’m not going to track , as DH is so much happier when we just do what we can manage . Did you DTD every other day ?

No that's the weird thing I'm shocked it happened... my AF was 9-11 Nov, we DTD on the 14th and 16th and I only ovulated as per OPKs on the 18/19th but OH was away and we only DTD again on the 23rd when he came back coz I was 4DPO and cramping so was scared it might be ovulation and that we didn't miss the window after all... but it wasn't ovulation as I'm 9DPO today and got a super faint positive so think his lil guys just hung on from the 16th till I ovulated...*

@tiamo that’s so lovely to hear and also really refreshing, that you don’t have to be having sex every single day! I’m feeling quite hopeful after this period so fingers crossed we have some good news like yours soon. I’m so happy for you! XX

@itsemily I haven't told OH anything gonna keep testing to get a proper line and then take a digital... but will wrap it up and give it to him as a Christmas present glad he won't suspect anything coz 8days ago I decided to stop drinking so he won't be suspicious as to why I've stopped coz I felt like alcohol would mess up my chances of implantation (crazy I know)...

really glad your AF has been well behaved this month... DTD but don't wear yourself out as well.. got my fingers crossed for you, I really hope this month is your month will make an amazing Christmas present :) xx*

I might take a test on Friday, as even though AF isn't due until Monday I have a massage booked on Saturday and I feel like I should check just in case.

Would anybody mind if I put a picture of my CM on here for advice? It's just that the Clearblue OPK has said I'm not having a LH surge but wanted to know what you thought about my CM?

@curbsideprophet yea I'd test seeing as a normal massage isn't good when you're pregnant... keep me posted on how it goes :) sprinkling tons of baby dust your way xx*

I can't help as I don't get the CM that everyone talks about during ovulation :( *

@Hannahb26 I don't mind. Also I think the EWCM comes in the run up to the LH surge so you're probably about to get your peak 😊

Unfortunately this pregnancy didn’t end well. Started having a miscarriage Monday...... it’s been a tough week all round. 😢😢😢😢

@Hannahb26 I’d say that’s pretty Much fertile CM , you’ll ovulate soon ! It’s quite a lot more than I’d normally get but it looks fertile to me x

@Hannahb26 I’m good thanks Han , didn’t sleep well last night I kept thinking about babies lol . I’m just so happy DH is happy again and not stressed . He even came into me last night not the other way round ! So I’m feeling positive and just hoping this month is our month maybe ! No idea when I’ll ovulate after the 35 day cycle ! I can’t believe how manageable my period was this month either ! Compared to last months blood bath ! I’m so thankful for this chat though , not sure what I’d do without you all lol x

I feel really ill today - nauseous, v bad headache, bit of an upset tummy, bit faint. I should be on a train to a meeting 40 miles away but I physically couldn't drive to the station. I'm unsure whether to test today just in case, as I've been up nearly 3 hours and it wouldn't be my first wee of the day?

I cracked and did a first response. I feel like there might be a very very faint line, but that might just be my eyes. I took a photo but the faint line doesn't show.
Is there a risk of evaporation line if I leave it until DH is home? I might just wait and try again closer to Monday, which is when AF is due.

I'm trying not to symptom spot too much at the moment but I am on cd22 and I'm feeling really nauseous and have v sore boobs!

Must resist testing too early!

I'm CD 22 as well. I feel rough, but my family have all had a terrible virus and it could be that. Or a migraine. I read that tests can change over a few hours due to the chemicals bleeding and show a line just from the chemical reaction, or something. I won't show DH if it does that, as it would be too confusing. I've got another 4 hours to ponder until he's home.

Just be careful with early testing, I’ve unfortunately learnt the hard way. It must get darker every 48 hours until it’s really dark. I wish you the best of luck and hope you have sticky baby dust x

Thank you @LEA84TTC that's sensible advice. AF isn't due until Monday, so I think I'll wait now until next week. I only tested today because I feel so nauseous, but if I'm thinking sensibly that is likely because I'm migrainey and very under the weather.

I don’t want to put a downer on how you are feeling and completely get why you tested early it’s hard to wait. I’m sure things will be different for you but just be cautious. I think the experience has taught me to be kinder to myself and chill out a bit. We just all want this so desperately xx

I've been debating throwing away the test before DH gets home, as otherwise we might both umm and ahh over whether we can see a faint line all weekend. Caution is definitely the best way to go. I don't want to get both of our hopes up, especially as we've only been trying properly for one month.
