Hi ladies . I’ve just finished my period today and my husband and I are now going to start ttc our first baby after having my Mirena removed last week.
Is anyone else TTC this month ? I’ve ordered some ovulation tests after I said I wouldn’t because I’ve read so many success stories on them so I thought I might as well just so I have some in case !

I’d love for people to share their journey with me ! I’m 24, 25 in two weeks . So excited for our journey . I’m trying to figure out this whole lingo on here and stuff sorry! X

@Itsemily Aw thanks! AF has definitely returned with a vengeance this month! Lots of bleeding and heavy flow...aka back to normal for me! So now I'm back to waiting for when we can actively start trying again.

I've just caught up on how everyone has been doing so far and I also hope that we start to see some BFPs in here soon!

My DH used the SwimCount test last week and it came back normal which was great! Now we know that he has a good number of swimmers that are nice and motile 👍

Now we just need my body to start playing ball...🤞

@Han2291 Thank you for the advice! I carried on using the LH strips even though the app said not to and got my first ever peak tonight! I feel so much better and for the past 2 days I’ve had increased CM that’s watery to egg white. So looks like I’ve ovulated later than expected and I think for the first time since coming off the pill. I don’t think I even ovulated last month on our first month of trying. X

Ooo @Lea84TTC what app is that? I’m about to do OPKs for the first time and that looks great!

@Itsemily and others who’ve done OPKs, I thought you weren’t supposed to do your first morning wee as it’s too concentrated, but I’ve also seen online that people do and as long as it’s the same time every day it’s ok. It would be wayyyy easier to do it every day first thing! What do you think?

@notalwaysalondoner maybe it depends on the OPK. Clear blue say use the first wee after your longest sleep . So for most people that’ll be morning but if you do nights etc then it’ll be afternoon but it’s basically longest sleep without urinating or drinking . So it must depend on the OPK xx

AF due yesterday. No sign yet but all tests have been bfn so far

@notalwaysalondoner I use femometer ones. You get a good deal on amazon and I use the app and thermometer too.

Has anyone had cramping pains and painful nipples around the time of ovulation? I’m feeling rough, I don’t think I’ve ovulated for a while by the experience of this time around!

wonder if you can help. I'm 8 days late on my period but tested negative 6 days late. I'm never ever late. Most I've ever been is 2 days late. My cycle is nearly always 28 days. I have sore boobs, stomach cramps and bloatedness/gas as well as creamy white CM that is a lot heavier than usual. Sometimes I go to the toilet thinking af has started but it is just cm.

Is it worth booking a doctor's appointment? Is it possible to be pregnant with a negative test even though I was 6 days late when I tested? Me and my husband stopped being careful last month as we want to start ttc so it is a possibility but I didnt think it would happen straight away, and now just worried something else is wrong with my body!

@HopingforfirstBFP test again in two days or so, don't lose hope until AF arrives-fingers crossed you get your BFP!
@Lea84TTCI never used to notice signs of ovulation (In all honesty, don't laugh, I never actually knew about ovulation until TTC-doh!) But now I notice small twinges on one side of my stomach, left or right never both, where my ovaries are, but not sore nipples

@Symptomspotter86 It is possibly to be pregnant with negative results yes, my friend had a baby on my 18th birthday party and didn't even know she was pregnant. My Mother-In-Law also had 10 negative pregnancy tests when she was pregnant with my DH, she found out eventually, week later! Good luck!

@Itsemily I had no idea what my body did or didn’t do until we start TTC! Anniversary meal tonight and don’t know whether to enjoy a cheeky cider or not. I had stopped everything up until now..... really have mixed feelings about it x

@Lea84TTC Happy Anniversary! I hope you have a lovely evening. Have a little drink and enjoy yourselves. I have been cutting caffeine etc but had some today, I know it's not alcohol but I am not a drinker but love my coffee! But it felt good to enjoy it x

Still no AF and now 2 days late. Should I test this afternoon or in the morning? I didn’t have a test this morning so I went and bought one today. Feel like I want to test today but I know it won’t be as reliable. Help!?

@hopingforfirstbfp i would do it tomorrow or Tuesday morning . Good luck ! I’m due tomorrow AF I think according to my app , I’m gonna test Friday to make sure I’m definitely late xx

So after me being confused about my BT and the app saying I had a defect in my lateal phase I just ovulated late. The OPK showed peak and now my chart is looking like this.

@leah84ttc I’m glad you know when you ovulated . This is why it’s good to keep DTD throughout otherwise you can easily miss your peak cant you ? Glad you monitored it x

@Itsemily That’s the problem when you have an irregular cycle and have come off the pill. Your system takes a while to get back to normal. Just got the 2WW now to see how things have worked. I feel a lot more relaxed and I think the stress contributed to late ovulation. I think I ovulated very quickly after the peak reading as it didn’t last long and felt the side effects. Back in the tww again. AF due tomorrow. Not feeling too positive. Had a positive opk on cd 21 and dtd on cd 20 & 22.

Fingers crossed for those on the tww. I'm on cd4 and I've had awful period pain. I've been secretly upset that I wasn't pregnant on our first month of trying, even though the odds are obviously low. It's silly. Onwards and upwards

@hopefulhel good luck , sounds like you would’ve given it a good chance DTD on the days most fertile . We just went for it this month every other and every 3 days throughout . AF due today , so I think you and I are in sync . I’m not testing til Friday where I’ll know i am 100% late . @CurbsideProphet I get you , I was the same last month . It is understandable. Hugs x

My BBT has confirmed today that I did ovulate. We DTD 2 days before and on the day too. I’m hoping we did manage it in the time frame. Nervous wait. Nipples still really hurt too x

@itsemily I am testing on Friday too! Can’t believe I have a whole 4 days to get through first, I am just itching to test. I will be doing a first response as my period isn’t due until 19/20th November. Good luck to you!

I have loads of EWCM today so I’m super confused !! Not worrying though, didn’t do me any good last month did it . I might try and DTD tonight anyway as we said we will keep going til AF arrives or BFP lol . No sign of AF but I know it’s not even 8am yet 🥴 sore nipples is a positive sign for ovulation so you 100% have got it !

@Itsemily I tested this morning and it was a bfn but no sign of af. Boobs are sore today but that could be due to AF about to arrive

I feel like I'm congratulating pregnancies left right and centre at the moment. It doesn't help that we're both in our 30s and newly wed, so everyone keeps asking if we want to have children.
