@mrssunshinexxx Do you normally get sore boobs?? Hopefully that's a good sign. xx Hopefully you will get your BFP and not need to get another blood test to check.

@Sophieb15 no not this early sometimes day before af is due but not getting excited just yet but fingers crossed x

@mrssunshinexxx I'm over the getting my hopes up at this stage. I'm just expecting AF and trying to forget about it. Only Ovulated CD 17 which was yesterday so AF due the 20th Oct.

Used Agnus Castus this month from CD1 and Will try the pineapple again from today on.

DTD CD 6,8,13,16,17 if we can we will do tonight :)

Af due today and I'm CD27, got a few twinges of cramping but nothing too bad. A tiny amount of dark brown blood when I wipe and the smallest amount in a sanitary towel. If I'm having implantation bleeding on the exact same day af is due I will be amazed! I'm thinking af is definitely just round the corner...

@mrssunshinexxx Agnus Castus is supposed to help with PMS symptoms. I'm only trying it this month if it doesn't work and help my PMS I won't be taking it again. It's not very nice.

@Tamalama Oh I hope it is Impantation and not AF I've everything crossed for you. If you don't get them in full force tomorrow will you test CD29? x

@Tamalama fingers crossed. You just never know. I had implantation bleeding last pregnancy and got a bit of bleeding the day before I was due and then again a couple of days after and it got quite heavy.

@Sophieb15 Yep I'll test on Thursday if she doesn't arrive by then but I think it's highly unlikely 😕 x

I'm out 😕 regular as clockwork af arrived properly this evening.

I'm a bit confused though, I went to the doctor today because I'm still feeling ropey (still got a viral infection!) and I mentioned to the doctor about having a blood test next month for ovulation, which is apparently done at CD21. However, she said they don't really recommend them because they often do more harm than good in terms of stress and potential disappointment if ovulation hasn't taken place, and that it's most likely that a blood test won't be done! She then started saying if I wanted to go down that route it would be treated as medical but I may have to pay for it!
I explained that I'm on cycle 7 and I'll be 39 in December, and I know after 6 months tests should be done. She said I would have to have a chat with them first to assess if I can go down that route! Wtf?!

Been quiet for a while on this thread as took bloody ages to O this month (I do have irregular cycles so this isn't really a huge surprise for me!). Finally got strong +OPK on Sunday morning and think from other symptoms I either O Sun eve or Mon morning. We managed to dtd Sat and Sun but not yesterday - not ideal but hoping there would be some swimmers there from sat and sun 🤷‍♀️
So I'm 2DPO today. Not very hopeful and going to force myself to chill and not symptom spot.

Typically, I bit the bullet and ordered an Ava on Friday as it was CD23 and still no sign of O and figured an Ava would help next cycle. I then got +OPK a day later 🙄 but I'm still excited to use it next month anyway!

@Tamalama that's shit so sorry!!
My advise is ring another doctor andcry , no joke bet they will let you have it then it should be your choice if you want it or not and like you say I though when your over 35 they intervene sooner xx

@Tamalama I'm sorry AF came.

I can't understand why doctors can be like that. Isn't it better if you knew you weren't ovulating so you could do something about it. Can you ring another doctor and just book blood tests for CD 21 and tell them you want your progesterone levels checked?

@meerkatmummy welcome that's great what's your DTD plan? I'm CD 19 today only ovulated on CD 17 so 2 DPO whoo hoo Due AF the 20th Oct.

@catsandkid your the same as me 2 DPO I Ovualted Monday. How many days is your LP normally?

I'm 2dpo today. Didn't manage to dtd last night or the night before so it may not have been enough.
Feeling pretty down today as it's a year since the dating scan where we found out our little boy was likely very unwell.
Just trying to have a coffee and relax.

I am so angry with DP :( We didn't DTD last night because he was on a night out with the plan of DTD today. I'm currently CD 11 and on my 4th day of flashing smiles on CB. This morning he has woken up and is throwing up from too much alcohol last night. I'm SO angry at him.

We were meant to be doing SMEP this month but he has totally ruined that by getting hammered and being so hungover he can't even walk to the bedroom without vomiting.

Sorry to rant at you all. No-one else would understand my frustration.

@Blossomingflower94 that is annoying but you haven't had your static yet and that's the most important time x

@Sophieb15 doctor rang me this morning and said I need to go again next month she said 7 days before af is due I told her I track ovulation and she said well just go when you are ovulating then ?? x

@Treaclepie19 I'm 2 DPO aswell and we didin't DTD last night either might tonight just in case. But there should be enough swimmers from the run up to O anyway to give you every chance.

@Blossomingflower94 Try not to stress too much about it as the most important time is when you get your static and the 2 days after if you are doing SMEP.

@mrssunshinexxx Is it a young doctor male or female? The blood test is to check your progesterone level to make sure you Ovulated.

That depends on when you ovulate. The day 21 blood test is supposed to check your progesterone levels at the time when they should be at their peak. In a 28-day cycle with ovulation on day 14, progesterone levels will be at their peak around day 21.May 24, 2017

@Sophieb15 we're dtd every other day this month. Tried smep a few times when trying for son, never worked. Tried dtd every day, that didn't work either. Tried conceive plus and pressed, no luck with either. (It took 2y to get a bfp) so we're going with every other day this month, and keeping everything crossed. Opk was positive this morning and today is a dtd day so roll on bedtime!! Will you test early?

@Sophieb15 it's a young female doctor hmm I dunno what to do because she told me to go when I'm ovulating I suppose th at makes. Sense also if I went the day of next static ? X

@meerkatmummy I'm on cycle 9 TTC no 2 and I feel last 2 months we have done so much DTD that it actually was like doing the dishes. This month I def took more of a relaxed approach just made sure to DTD day of O. We did CD 6, 8,13,16,17. I was going to try last night too but I was just too tired. I'm pretty sure I Ovulated CD17 pm and at the latest CD18 am. DTD just for fun whenever it happens now until AF arrives. We tried Pre seed 2 or 3 times but its way too slippery and we only used a tiny bit so scraped that. I get a good bit of EWCM anyway.

No I try not test early unless I am going out and want to check can I drink but earliest I would test is 12 DPO. Plan is to forget about how many DPO I am and just expect AF. That plan normally last for week one of the TWW then I start googling everything.

@blossomingflower94 My OH can get annoyed if I'm too full on with DTD on certain days, they don't understand how small a window there is!!!

I'm 9dpo today. Had a few period type cramps which is way early for me... (luteal phase is usually slightly longer than the norm) but also my first night back at work so whether the 16hr shift has anything to do with it? 🤷🏻‍♀️🙄

@mrssunshinexxx I hope you just get your BFP this month and don't have to get any blood test done. Its a test to check levels of progesterone and progesterone levels don't rise until after Ovulation so I don't know why she would tell you to get them done while ovulating. Just forget about it now and be positive for a BFP and If it comes to it ring the doctor and question her on it and make sure she knows the test your looking to get done is to make sure you are ovulating. x

@Sophieb15 yeah I always say I'm going to wait til af arrives but I end up googling every symptom (most of them I'm probably imagining) and then resting from CD10 🤣🤣
