@mrssunshinexxx I'm hoping for a little payback on my partner. When we had our little boy my partner said he was going to be born on my birthday... there's 1 hour difference between us so it was a FUN birthday...

My partners birthday is the 27th June so I'm hoping for a late baby this time 😂

So I'm counting today as 1dpo. Got my static smiley on Saturday and thankfully dtd then because we didn't do it yesterday or today 😕 prior to dtd on Saturday we hadn't done it for two weeks, what with hubby having an operation, af arriving, etc so dtd on Saturday was literally our one shot for this cycle, which is disappointing, but I guess it can just take the one time...

Going to try not to symptom spot for the next few days, af due on 3rd November...

So I've had a weird AF. I got them Sunday morning was there when i wiped and I just used 2 tampons that day and they weren't full (the purple ones so the lightest possible) Then I always put a pad on the 1st night. I got up yesterday morning and when I started to walk to the toilet I felt a gush when I went to the toilet my pad was fairly full and there was a dark red thick clot the size of a small orange. I then went to work and used another 2 light tampons that again were only red on maybe half of it. Went home had a shower and put on a pad at 7 o clock and not one drop until 7 this morning when i had a bit of light pink when I wiped. I only have a panty liner on now and nothing so far.
I normally have 1 day of heavy bleeding then 2nd day its not as heavy but still heavy and then 3rd day gets a bit lighter and 4th day only a small bit.

Can anyone shed some light on why this would have happened.

@Sophieb15 I'm not sure why it does happen, but with my first I had a really short period and got pregnant that cycle. Midwives always ask too was your last period normal so maybe unusual periods lead to pregnancy? Have you been feeling any different?

@sao81 Boobs have eased cramps have eased have increased wind that's about it really. I'll wait and see if I bleed anymore. If not I'll test thursday just in case. How long after did you test? Did the short period make you test?

Sorry I may not have worded that the best, I had a really short period then conceived that month, so after the short peroid. We werent trying so it caught me by surprise I found out less than 4 weeks later, when i think back now I must of ovulated sooner than 2 weeks after 1st day of peroid so all id say is if you're using opks start them earlier to make sure you dont miss anything!

AF was due today, but hasn't arrived. I'm very hopeful, but trying not to get my hopes up too much!

It can sometimes be a couple of days late if I've been particularly stressed, but I haven't been this month. I haven't had any signs of pregnancy like I did the first time round though (boobs got painful and bigger straight away, kept peeing). I'm experiencing some cramping, but I did around the time I'd have been due my period with my pregnancy.

Fingers crossed! I think if there's no sign of AF first thing tomorrow I'll take an early detection test.

Just checked the calendar and actually I'm 2 days late!!

Guess I'll wait and see if anything happens for a day or two. Still holding out a little hope that AF doesn't appear and I get that BFP. With my daughter I didn't get a positive until I was 5 days late with a Clearblue Digital.

Nope, AF arrived 3 days late. Gutted :(

@Fredthespider I tested last night and BFN it was just in case as I never really have short periods but sure for the last 9 months I've had weird things before AF so what's new 🤣🤣 doctor has referred me to a gynaecologist anyway she is thinking I've Endometriosis 🤦🏻‍♀️

So annoyed, 3 days late and had a squinter on an IC but just got AF 😡😱 so upset

@Sophieb15 good luck with your appointment. I had my laparoscopy back in 2015 but they didn't find any endometriosis which was both good and frustrating as they couldn't give me a good reason for all my problems!

@GalaxyGirl24 big hugs :( I can imagine how disheartening that would be! Hopefully November will treat you better x

@Tamalama I had an early one booked for wed but cancelled it as was abit anxious so just waiting for saying scan should be around 4th Dec I thunk xx
