@mrssunshinexxx I should have explained that when I had my early scan with DD it wasn't internal 😊 I think when you're 8 weeks onwards they do it externally 😊 x

@Tamalama @Sophieb15 apparently if under 8 weeks it's internal and obviously I'm not sure on definite dates until 12 week scan was going to book early scan on same day as booking in app and take full day off work midwife has me at 4+5 but I think I'm only 2 + 5 going from when I ovulated so not sure when I'll defo be 8 weeks of your with me and don't wanna pay £50 and not be able to see anything xx

@mrssunshinexxx they go by the start date of your last period, so your midwife is correct 😊 x

Well that sounds a lot better than what I thought I just want to safely get to 12 weeks desperately @Tamalama ,,

@mrssunshinexxx I know you do and I'm sure everything will be just fine 😊 just try not to stress for the next few weeks. I know it's easier said than done though x

I'm also out, AF showed up today at only 7 (maybe 8) dpo and I'm gutted. I was hoping perhaps implantation bleeding but it's steadily getting heavier and bright red so it's def AF. 7 dpo! Feel like my body has let me down and I'm broken. I guess it's time I stopped ignoring my periods being all over the place and my LP being short and just accepted I may need to get checked out. Has anyone been to the doctor for progesterone testing, how do I organise it? Just book an appointment with a GP and request it?

I'm so gutted. Stuck thousands of miles away by myself and DH has been visiting family this weekend with the kids so although I told him on WhatsApp I haven't had a chance to talk to him (and won't until tomorrow). So I'm just led in my hotel room alone feeling crampy and miserable 😭 onto the November but I go ...

I'm so sorry to hear that @NamiSwan and that you're going through a crappy weekend 😕 I think it would be worth speaking to your gp to get some tests done x

Well I'm out. AF arrived this afternoon 5 days late (or 3 according to my other app. I'm using two apps to track ovulation but they give me conflicting dates). I was beginning to get my hopes up despite zero symptoms. But my period has never been this late before. Oh well. On to the next month

@Sophieb15 there's a November bus. Gutted you are joining 🙁 we can be 10th cycle buddies tho and hopefully this is our lucky cycle xxxx

So I doubt it'll be my month, DH and I were very snappy with each other at points today. He's got a headache and I'm still not well so not really in the mood. Dtd hasn't been mentioned today even though we spoke about it yesterday, so it's just been left unsaid today. He's watching a film and I've gone upstairs to bed. Hopefully dtd yesterday will have been enough because that is when I got my positive lines, and I had ov pains last night... I guess we can dtd tomorrow but I imagine yesterday was our one shot for this month. I'm banking on the fact that it can just take the one time to get pregnant. 😕

I googled it and apparently travelling across time zones (particularly west to east) can seriously mess with your menstrual cycle and can bring on an early period (or late, or miss it entirely). Since I flew east and the time difference is 7 hours in front, I'm guessing that didn't help my already whacky menstrual cycle. I'm going to book an appointment to see my GP but also chalk this down as travel related and hopefully my LP will be higher next month, we'll see. I always thought I was out this month so it would have been a bonus throw of the dice anyway, but seems like my body just reacts very sensitively to any external stress. I'm obviously now clinging onto the travel being the fault here rather than my body just being a failure and not working properly ☹️

Am I going insane or is there a second line there?

It's the second test i've done this morning, the first being an IC which I don't trust not to be an evap. This is a different brand.

Thanks everyone. CD 2 today so not feeling as bad. Yesterday I was an emotional wreck.

@NamiSwan Sorry AF arrived for you too. I've had the progesterone tests done. You get them done 6/7 days after you Ovulate for the most accurate result. I'll tag you when I find the Nov bus. Might wait a few days before I even join it. Think I need to take some time out.

It's official. Looks like I'm due around 21st June. Tested early because I couldn't wait any longer.
