Anyone just starting the TWW?

I got my positive OPK yesterday so think ovulation is today CD 14 so bang on schedule.

I'm 29 and TTC first baby. On cycle 3 now and already stressed something might be wrong 😭

Any one else just starting their TWW?

I think I am! But my opks have been a bit nuts. But I'm CD15/16 now (last period was an odd one....) so plan to test next Friday. What about you? Xx

I've used OPKs month 1 and 2 and got a positive month 1 but no positive month 2. Which OPKs are you using?

I'm going in holiday on the 17th for a week and wish I had the discipline to hold out and test when I get back but I know I don't 😂. Think I'll take a test with me and test 2 weeks today.hiw long have you been trying? X

I just use the cheap ones from amazon. This is #3 and it worked for #2. But I'm 5 years older now!

I'm not entirely sure to be honest as my cycles have been all over the place. I stupidly came off my pill like 2 weeks into taking it when we decided to start trying to I had a withdrawal bleed mid May and then a long cycle of about 33 days. I don't ever remember them being that long but I've been on the pill for a good 10 years so can't say for certain! Cycle 2 was shorter at 30 days so maybe that's the length they're going to be. My Flo app had predicted ovulation on the 12th this month based on my last cycle but I updated that when I got my positive OPK yesterday and it's now saying AF is due the 22nd which is bang in the middle of my holiday 😂.

My first cycle was so randomly long and I didn't get a positive OPK last month so I think it's still all a bit guess work for me!

Do you know when AF is due? How long have you been trying for no 3? X

I think I'm starting the TWW so I started doing OPKs at CD6 - because they came in the post and I wanted to try the lol anyways it's been positive for 3 days straight and still have faint positives now but my body I think was warmer and I had think I had ovulation paints Monday which would be around CD10 (I came on AF on a Friday night so don't know how to count my days) so god knows really so we DTD and now it's just a waiting game

This will be my first cycle and first baby so it's all new to me but I'm glad I took an OPK test when I did as it could look like I ovulate earlier than most xx

It's my first baby too, trying to figure this stuff out is a minefield! I thought you just DTD and got pregnant first try but apparently not!

What OPKs are you using? I had to go for the clear blue digital as the internet ones baffle me!

When is AF due?

@LA89 I didn't even knew all this stuff existed befor this forum lol and I used some cheap ones I got off amazon and they seem to be ok at the moment. I'm glad I tried then the day I got them tho.

I'm very new to it all but love the excitement of it and when someone posts a BFP I get super excited Hahhaha I'm so sad

@LA89 oooo and my AF should be sue around 23-26th I'm anything between a 28-30 day cycle usually but I've been on the pill a few years so could all change. But last time I came off I was quite regular xx

It's mad how much stuff you have to track. I feel like I was lied to at school, I always thought I'd just have to look at a boy to get pregnant 😂.

And yeah I think so according to my app I should be ovulating this weekend but I'll do OPKS to see if I'm an early ovulated or a double ovulation I think!!

@Alice8688 I think all any of us can do is hit and hope really! If anything I just think all the testing and research passes the time while you wait till you can test 😂

It's so good to be able to talk to other women about it though. My OH is lovely and so supportive but I don't think men quite understand the pressure it puts on women! X

I think I ovulated yesterday so I've just started the TWW too.
CM indicates it was yesterday as well so keeping my fingers crossed!
We're TTC #2 this is our first cycle. This is the part I'm sure we all drive ourselves crazy symptom spotting 🙈
Anyone else on sertraline? I've only been on it for a few months and have been assured it's safe but can't help but worry!

Hello, Mumsnet virgin here! Currently TTC number 1, this is my first month trying. 8DPO at the moment and feeling very off colour. Headache last couple of days. OH says I am burning up and I do feel very warm. But mainly, bloody exhausted the last couple of days. Hard not to read too much into these things, might just be the mother of all viruses I'm incubating! Also going on holiday next week and am going to try to resist the urge to POAS until after I get back.

Ill be impressed if you can hold out to test. I've said both of the last 2 months I'm not going to test early and have caved both months. I'm going on holiday on the 17th and AF is due the 22nd so going to try and hold off till I come back from holiday but almost certainly won't 😂

@LA89 thank you! Haven't used anything to track ovulation but noticed the EWCM, sore boobs and spotting on CD14 so I'm fairly sure I ovulated on or around that day (1st Aug). I say I will hold out...I probably won't either! I'm just scared to get a positive that then turns negative, I think I'd be upset at an early miscarriage and also feel like I'm jinxing it a bit...will see how I feel on holiday, might pack a preg test in case!

Oh and to answer your question @LA89, AF due roughly around 15th. Usually have a 30-31 day cycle but has been know to be very irregular.

1 week til test day. Had the FRER arrive yesterday. But have ic to keep me entertained come weds when I cave 🙄

I'm going to buy a FRER to take on holiday but might only take 1 to force myself not to test early. I've driven myself mad the last couple of months squinting at tests and spent a fortune so I'm really going to try and curb that this month!

I've got a load of tests left over from when I was a week late a few months ago (wasn't ttc) and it's gonna take all the willpower in the world to not use them early. They're clear blue though so not as sensitive I don't think. Tempted to order a frer in advance!

Too early to symptom spot for me as well, I think I'm 3 DPO.

I think I'm about 6dpo. I'm not sure. It's hard to pin point! It's probably to early for me to symptom spot too...won't stop me being insane sadly 😂
I am hoping the next week doesn't drag its feet 🙄 xx

I'm so tired and keep thinking the same thing! Then I give myself a shake and realise in tired because I stayed up binge watching Netflix till 1am then got up at 7:30.

Very annoyingly I think I've got a water infection starting which is not the dream!
