Anyone just starting the TWW?

I got my positive OPK yesterday so think ovulation is today CD 14 so bang on schedule.

I'm 29 and TTC first baby. On cycle 3 now and already stressed something might be wrong 😭

Any one else just starting their TWW?

Finally tested today, DH couldn't wait, although we said we would wait until tomorrow which is 14 DPO. BFN 😞

@EmmaOvary I'm so sorry darl. When are you due AF? I really hope it's just a case of late implantation 🤞🏻🤞🏻

@imnewherethisisme oh the symptom spotting! I've been doing the same. But I swing between "I'm definitely not pregnant I can feel AF" and "ooh my boobs are sore so it definitely a symptom...." it's exhausting!

I've posted my test from this morning below. I won't be upset if y'all see nothing! I know it's most likely my eyes making me see things.

@Alice8688I can't see anything on that one but I know from personal experience that tests don't photograph as well as you can see them! How many DPO are you?
I ordered some frers that will arrive tomorrow. I'm gonna try my hardest not to use them though as I can't really afford to be testing more than a couple of times each month!
The minty taste has really thrown me as I've had it before but I can't remember when/why 🙈 my other 'symptoms' could also be put down to the time in my cycle other than the really mild cramping I had.

I just think this tww is getting to me as it's been a few months. Lots of people have announced pregnancies. And my colleague has just had a baby! All silly reasons. Xx

I'm only 3DPO and I'm already going insane! I already want to test which is quite obviously ludicrous but I'd like to be able to wait the full 2 weeks cause I don't want to test at like 9/10/11 DPO and see a negative and tell myself it could still be positive cause that's just going to mess with my head!

@Alice8688 I actually can see a shadow of a line but it's so faint I can't tell if it has any colour. People rave about the FRER and I know they do pick stuff up earlier than clear blue but I also think they're quite bad for evap lines. I've driven myself mad every month because I test and see the slightest line and get my hopes up but they turn out to just be indent/evap lines. A positive test will always have colour apparently. I can see something but I don't think you'd know either way for a few more days Hun.

One of my friends just announced yesterday and it's so hard to hear when you want it so badly. My friends a good person, but her relationship is ridiculous, they're always splitting up and getting back together and they are both in their mid/late twenties yet still sleep in a single bed in the box room of his mum's house. It makes me feel awful for feeling this way but it just makes me mad people thinking 'yeah let's just have a baby regardless of if we're in a position to really provide for it' and then it happens straight away when we're all here so ready to be parents and trying like mad with no luck.

I'm already thinking I might buy a test and try one Saturday morning before holiday. I'd be 9dpo which o know is stupidly early but I'm bound to cave and do it.

@Alice8688 @imnewherethisisme thanks, AF due around 18th, but I'm very irregular. I'll test again in 4 days or so when I'm back home from holiday. I think DH is more down about it than me, but it's only month 1 so we need to suck it up. I'm 38 which is what worries me, not masses of time to waste. My mum had me at 40 though! @EmmaOvary oh bless you. As if this whole process isn't confusing enough without irregular periods. Mine used to be irregular but they calmed right down after a little while with the copper IUD. But you have my sympathies. 💕

I'm trying not to test today (as tomorrow I'll either be 5 or 3 days prior to af depending on if I have a 26 day cycle or normal 28 day 🙄 xx

Going by my CM I think I'm out this month.
I'm due AF in 4/5 days, so I'm 9/10DPO.
I have some frer which are obviously from 6 days before AF but I'm reluctant to use one because I think I'm out 🤷‍♀️
Gonna wait to see if AF come and use one then if not but I'm not feeling particularly hopeful!

Anyone due to test over the weekend? I had a faint FRER this morning. But still not hopeful. I don't even know why! Xxx

I'm still a bit crampy and my boobs are a bit tender today. I'm 8dpo so trying not to get my hopes up but I am starting to wonder...

I go on holiday tomorrow and there are 2 FRERs in my suitcase. I did buy another pack though so I'm almost certainly going to test tomorrow morning 😂. AF is due Thursday so if it's BFN tomorrow morning I'll probably take one on Tuesday and one on Thursday while I'm away.

Really hoping this is my month, I've had very mild crampy pains on and off since Monday which is unusual for me. I've just noticed by boobs are a bit tender today. No idea if any of this means anything or if I'm just so obsessed I'm turning something that happens every month without my noticing into a big deal.

Sick of waiting and just want to know either way now!

@LA89 oh bless you! It's horrible isn't it. Me too. I just want to fast forward to AF or a BFP. It gets harder every month. 😣

@Alice8688 so excited! It's been arranged for my OHs nan's birthday. So there are like 40 of us going between his nan's children, their children and the great grandkids 😂. Should be really good as all the grandkids are between 18 and 35 and all get on great so should be loads of fun. Hopefully it'll keep my mind off the last few days before I'll know for certain one way or the other. They're always the days that drag the most too so it's good timing really!

How you doing symptoms wise? When you planning to test?

I don't really know about symptoms. My boobs have been sore and by Christ have I had a headache this week! Unbearable at times! But I worry I'm symptom spotting because I'm crazy rather than because I'm pregnant. Not knowing the exact day AF is due is driving me mad too. As I was 4 days early last month (which did cut the tww tbh!) and I had a pos OPK on CD12 not on Cd14 like usual. I bought another frer today: so that's tomorrow sorted. 🤦🏼‍♀️

So, last night I got a very faint ic positive. This morning I've had a faint (but there!) frer. I scarcely believe it. I've attached a pic. (It's not overly clear! It's clearer irl!)

In related news my boobs are so painful I could cry 🙄😂 xx

Im in a similar position to some of you.
Cycle 3, 5/6 DPO, TTC number 1 and going stir crazy in the TWW!

I really feel totally out this month- I have zero symptoms apart from a little crampy on my left lower abdomen and back yesterday. I just feel like i am wishfully thinking it’s pregnancy related when really it’s not!

@Alice8688 I do see something faint and if it’s strong IRL then that is really positive!!!

For anyone else testing today good luck- the one thing that keeps me sane these past few months is seeing others get their BFP! 😊

@May2311 awww that's lovely! I have to say I love seeing bfps 🥰

It is stronger in real life so I'm really hoping. We had a mc a few months back and never got very strong bfps. So I'm anxious to tell my dh. It's heartbreaking how disappointed he has been since that we haven't conceived. Although he tries to hide it bless him.

I have had quite a few symptoms. Mainly my boobs. 😣 the pain!!! And I've had a headache all week. And I remember headaches with my dd and boobs with my ds! But I have also been a bit cramps which is typical af symptoms for me. Hence the anxiety.

I can't decide if I'm getting symptoms or AF coming.
Last night my right nipple felt really odd, like pins and needles which I know can be a pregnancy symptom but I'm grouchy as fuck today which is typical of AF coming soon. Unbelievably tired, yesterday felt like it was about a year long & could have cried all day & evening.
I'm due AF in 2 or 3 days I think. My frers are staring at me right now but distracting myself by playing trains with my 3 year old 🙈

I have also been feeling quick sick. But my mood swing Thursday was the best. 🙄🙄 jeez I really felt for DH afterwards. He looked confused. As did I. I was ridiculous 🤣 xx

I did test this morning and can see the faintest line. It's so faint I keep umming and ahhing as to if it's even there.

I'm only 9dpo (possibly only 8 if I ovulated 48 hours after positive opk) so think it's just a case of waiting it out!

I'm off on my jollies today. I have 2 tests with me and AF is due on Thursday so going to test Tues and Thurs x

TTC for a while now but struggling to time things right. I usually have a 28 day cycle (give or take a couple of days). I thought I could tell when i was ovulating, but now I'm not so sure lol.

This month I used clearblue ovulation kit starting on CD11 & got 'low' til CD19 and then got 'high' until CD23 when i got 'peak'. I thought i felt ovulation on CD22 but my OPK that morning had shown 'high' and not 'peak' til the following day. I don't know how accurate they are, but if I trust the OPK, ovulation didn't happen til CD 23/24/25 (I think?) which is really late considering I usually have a 28 day cycle. Now on CD25 and trying to work out when I'd be due now.
